- I have been working away on my small business, prepping towards a autumn product launch, and this week we get to work on the big shop launch for autumn ✨
📦 First we prep our new products like enamel pins ready for packaging as we arrange our stock and organise our shelves
📸 Then we really need to get to work on product photography! I get out my photo props (and realise very quickly that I had the camera on the wrong settings oopsie)
😆 I then decide to add more stress onto my plate and add some last min products, which puts me on a little bit of a time crunch
⭐️ It's then time for the shop update! We watch the shopify ticker countdown as we finally go LIVE!

It always amazes me how you manage to do all the content recording while on a mad rush to do everything else.

If you use paper tape instead of plastic cellotape it wont make the noise and it means the boxes you use it on are still recyclable :)

Also, I was wondering if you tried using paper packing tape? Perhaps that one sounds less “icky” to you than the plastic one? Not sure if it would increase costs too much though but it’s just an idea.

Catherine, you can get low or no noise clear packing tape. We sometimes use it at work. I've found it on both Viking and Lyreco. It is definitely a thing! 😊

@@KatnippStudios our tape gun sounds like a dino 🦕. It doesn't bother me but it does others. Definitely on Lyreco from Scotch but might be pricey.

They do make noise-less tape, but it is much more expensive.

Those pumpkins are cute! My kids & I managed to grow those from our backgarden this year, they’re “Jack-be-little” & “Baby Boo” pumpkins. Even their variant names are so cute!!!

Hi Kat, just wanted to let you know, Quiet tape is a thing. Uline makes it.
Try putting the backing cards in front of the pins in the box so when an order comes you can grab a card and pin together. That might help speed things up

Got the HTVRONT tumbler press today...dont waste your money
Not enough pressure at the ends so even if you tape very well 9/10 its blurred and ghosted.
I mostly do 11oz mugs.....again useless. You can barely slide in a mug without yhe sub paper and parchment but with it on it takes ages to try slide the mug in.
You have to wiggle and tilt side to side to try get even the end and maybe 2 to 3 cm if the mug in before you can barely slide it all the way and by the time you do it...the heat has messed up oarts of the mug and print due to wiggling the mug getting it in.
Also when it closes on the mugs it pushes the handle all the wat to the edge of the machine and so you have a gap at the other side of the handle and the press either does not get the edge of the image or it has hardly any pressure.
Tops were also still blurred too. Also a ripple testure look to parts of the print where you try slide it in and it pulls.
So disappointed i fell for HTVRONTs lies again as i did with their normal autopress.
Its getting returned and im getting another standard press as i have zero issues with them...these just look good

Is there a procreate secret to keeping the colors in the lines?
Hi everyone your all doing a great job love watching you guys ive watched your pretty much from the start and you really inspire me. And my daughter is now 7 and she also has watched you along side me now shes started drawing her own little characters and wanted to make her own sticker sheets so we went back and watched one of your old kisscut vlogs we have followed every step ,we made a backing sheet which i think we did right and also we made characters with outlines and on a transparent background but for some reason the cricut only cuts around the backing sheet and not the characters, do you have any advice on what id be doing wrong as ive tried different ways and printed and cut about 25 sheets of unusable stickers lol 🥴😵💫

For pre-doing the pins, do you just pre-do them and then store them or do you pre-do them and put them in the plastic as well?
