Yay for a Katnipp vlog during lunch! Always makes a day turn great when these are uploaded! The launch looks to have been an amazing success, and I am so in LOVE with my duck range goodies! The mousemat is super adorable and I'll be putting that on my desk soon (vinyl work could be a bit messy and I don't want to risk cutting into the mat, so it has to stay off for now), and the pins for the duck collection are beyond adorable. I know that I'll be ordering doubles of some of them to put onto a separate pin banner to hang next to my side of the bed since they are smile-inducing and make me feel so happy and relaxed! What better way to fall asleep than with more cute things that spark joy and cheer next to you! I do also believe that the printer is coming this week! I can't wait to see how that works out for the studio and what you'll be coming up with for products and characters and oh so much more! So much love to the entire Katnipp team! I'm exactly the same, I have my own craft shop and run classes, I plan ahead of time but prepping kits and samples is always last minute, but like you without deadlines I put it off xx
I love these launch vlogs! Instead of creating draft versions of your entire store for the banners, you can load the banners in place as you normally would and then click on the eye icon to turn it off until you are ready to launch. I have done that before and it worked out great!
It was so fun to watch this knowing I'd placed an order on shop launch day and knowing I was probably the Kansas dot on the map! I got a few Daffodils and Ducks goodies and they're all so cute! Love seeing the behind the scenes chaos lol
Hi, I do T shirt DTF , HTV printing and embroidery for businesses here in Germany. My experience has been that a 35% polyester and 65% cotton blends, work are softer and pleasing on skin contact. Personally a 3-5% Lycra is into the mix is excellent because the t shirt retains its shape a lot better. Another point to consider is the neck line. Most customers prefers a lower cut round neck or v-neck, because they don’t like the choking feeling. My favorite brands in Europe are Teejays, Neutral , HRM & Pomodoro. For your color options, Just Hoods AWDIS might be a good choice, followed by Neutral. I have no experience with Just Hoods, but their colours are great. If you choose Print on demand, you don’t have control over the brands they use. They have a few brands they use and If , let’s say, the lilac of one brands runs out, they switch to the next available brand with a similar color, which means your results vary considerably. Your designs are really cute, and I wish you lots of success with your apparel. 🎉
I always find Gildan tshirts to be so crunchy as well! I dunno, they do have one range that is higher quality that feels softer but the crunchy ones are always the more affordable ones. I feel like back in the day their quality was much better and now they're just skimping and sending everyone crunchy tshirts lol. Even after washing they're just not as nice because they use worse cotton. Hopefully the other manu has better quality shirts though, excited to see when they come in.
Hey Catherine! Way to go on another successful shop launch. Probably my fave range from the spring launch - if I had to pick - is the ducks & daffodils. I still have my Spaceship Earth sticker that you did for Victoria’s Patreon group. I still love it. I think my fave character has got to be Bumblebutt. He’s so cute! Lots of love!

Just a suggestion. Why not laminate the Thank You cards that go with the orders. So, they don't get quickly tatty in the paper form. It would really look good for the customer. Perhaps, they might hang the card up somewhere. Great work by the way!!🤩🤔👍

the pocket planet range is sooo cute!! but the colors on the duck daffodils range is so pretty! and with tees gildan I feel like is always a rougher material even the softstyle gildan tee goes rough after many washes. other options are Bella and canvas (these I have used and they are soft, lightweight and comfy but can be a little see through so I tend to use more of the heather tee cause they are less transparent) or the district (use the VIP tee NOT THE concert tee, these tee are comfy and I haven't had see through issues limited on color options), or next level, and I have heard good things about comfort colors but I at least for me they are a little pricey.

Omg girl if you have the up to date PS you don’t have to manually paint the background like that! You select the area with one of the selection tools then go edit> content aware fill and it’ll extend that section for you. I use it with my products for my light box as it’s quite small and sometimes the sides of the box or metal bits stick in!
