Those loons were supper active and put on a show. Unfortunately I couldn’t get through the dense bush to get a shot of them. There were 4 of them going at it!

.Wow, I never get tired of admiring those landscapes. That fish is very beautiful. I have been at sea when it is very windy, it must be something similar, but I have never camped in those conditions, I would panic. Thank you for taking me on one more adventure with your friend. Hi Marc and John. That boat sure came in handy. Your grandson seems to fit right in and handles everything very well. That fish looked delicious. Nice weather after the rainstorms. Nice size fish you caught in the afternoon. I like the crackle of a fire. Never have heard a loon in person. Maybe someday. Great times and making memories. Merry Christmas Marc.

Just in cellphone range for an hour on Christmas Day then back off grid camping in our little trailer . I’ll watch the whole video in a few days . All the Best to you Marc pouring rain here downpour weather

How's she goin'? Wow what a trip eh! It's great to get out with your grand son eh Marc!! too bad the weather turned so miserable. The rain is one thing but when it's windy it sure can ruin a trip in a hurry!! You set up well to deal with the wind though. Setting that boat up for a wind break was a good move. And even poor weather will be forgotten when you have memories of the nice fish you landed and ate!! LOL Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
The kid learned some valuable lessons on this trip! And yes the fish was tasty👍

What a great camping trip, other than the aggravating wind and rain, but the experience of different weather was great.The fish looked some delicious in that pan. You guys had a blast and a great finishing day.

what pack is that at like 4:15? What an awesome trip, the challenging bits will make it all the more memorable. I envy your son having a such a terrific dad taking him out in the bush! (lol he's got that survival mentality, we need to not waste firewood lets start the fire later :) love it) that Walleye looked amazing! (Merry Christmas!)
Thanks, he’s loving his annual canoe trip with me. He’s actually my grandson 👍 the pack is 100L canoe pack from Chinook. It’s starting to show its age however it is a good value for the money.
