Have watched several other crossover tutorials, and this one is the most unique and straightforward. Jumping with your arms crossed is a brilliant way to practice this that I'm excited to work into my previously mostly sad attempts haha. Good clean techniques!
will say also, one hard part for me is the transition back, the uncrossing. hope this helps. would be interested if you have more info on this aspect or if this arm hugging technique will be enough
This tutorial legitimately helped me with my crossovers. I was able to do about 10 or so alternating crossovers at speed. I have short arms so I combined your advice from another video to bend forward in the crossover a bit and that was the trick! Thank you. Good drill.
100% you’ll get it. Practice and you’ll find your own rhythm and these little gem RA videos are just the best with the best little hacks and tricks that make allllll the difference. Also, when adjusting hands and body etc make very small changes and you’ll see the biggest difference.
Ciao.Ho provato subito e sono riuscita a fare 3 giri.Vuol dire che le tue spiegazioni sono state molto chiare. Complimenti per la tua bravura e chiarezza. Eva
Yes sir, this video is timely, i am also practicing running crosscross to smoothen my DU XO, add it with a medium weight rope and it will polish the DU X once use a 5mm rope..🔥👍💪
I can do the crossover. Trying to crack the running whilst doing it. Definitely going to lock them arms tighter and see how it goes. I’m using the legacy rope so I’ll have plenty feed back.
Will try today at the gym, still struggling with sprinting and xcrossing at the same time but I found out that if do it with a heavier rope it's much easier
Rushi...this is exactly me...like in Rocky III when Apollo was teaching Rocky how to move in the ring, he's clumsy and out of sync but practice makes perfect and THIS is my worlout today after work! 🤙
Coach Rushy I have been learning & training by myself for 322 days now I hope that my dream is to become a professional coach just like you I wanna make a brand new jumprope sport for my country Myanmar I am training for my country Oh I hope One day if I am ready like you I wanna compete and win a 🥉 for my family all my life I have never win a prize before and you are the number One jumprope coach forever please give me some advice that I need to know about jumprope thank you coach 😊.
No sunnies and a hat! 😮 always look-in fly Mr.RA 💯 😊 Ty for the tutorial…I’ve been struggling to nail down a reliable cross over consistency….I think this tutorial will help clean up my technique. Thank you for sharing !
As a beginner I basically need every one of these tutorials in my life! Lol I will review this drill before crushing it in my workout today after work.! Rush... you're the Michael Jackson of skipping... THE KING!
Absolute legend mate honestly u are a credit to us all my nova rope come yday best rope I ever tryed love my money rope tho always go back to that too thanks for ur amazing work and help ❤️
Rushi! I'm on vacation right now... Using a house rope (unfortunately) but just NAILED my first double under crossover! ... It was sloppy... It is not perfect but I did it! Thank you man!🤙 #TheKing
Yooooo how mad! Just last night I was watching Rushie and one of the JRD boys from 4 years ago, about this move!!! Then I wake up this morning (still waiting on my RA ropes from Saturday grrrr lol and just kidding - well…) pretty and much unlocked cross overs and running for good! Yayyy. Now I just need the consistent double under hack video and I’m good for a few months. Big love.
I'm right handed and when my right hand goes over left hand I trip but if it goes under I can do 20 crossovers in a row. Almost made 50 the other day with the running place footwork. Thanks for all the tutorials. Still can't do double unders though.😂❤🙏🏾
I switched to using my left hand as my strong hand for skipping and it helped my crosses as well!! I’m finally getting my double unders, keep practicing and don’t give up they are a tough trick to get down especially consecutive DU and DUX’s!! I can finally get a couple down and that’s my main focus now is staying in the same place when jumping and landing and getting that timing down for DU
I'm right-handed, also, but I have inflammation in my right shoulder. I found it hurts less when my left hand goes over my right hand (right forearm touches my abdomen).
Best advice your video gave me was the noodle arms, that allowed me to close way more crossovers than before. Now I'll try this too, cause I'm sure I have to improve the figure of the loop, it's still not neat as yours. Thanks for the tip 🎉
Ciao What is the best rope to do double crossovers?? I'm a crossfitter and I have to learn how to do them because this year they have included them in the contests 😅
Crossovers are by far the hardest to learn for me at least boxing kick was difficult too jus bc of timing & rythem I’m be pro level tho 💪🏼 we ain’t settling

Great video, I've been struggling with crossovers, and I think I may have figured out why after watching this video.
Love the Nova roper and your look without the sunnies!

Great advice again as always
Thank, Rush, from Russia! 💪😉🇷🇺

No sunglasses but still a ton of value from your videos.
Thanks for helping us newbies in the jump rope journey
Totally agree 💯

Rushie, could you did vid on how to uncross? I always catch my feet on the way out.

So the thumb should be pointed downward or upward( from your video) when crossing the rope? 🤔

Hahaha love it! Fly boss 🚀🚀
Do you ever practice crossing your arms the opposite way? (right over left, instead of left over right)
I'm right handed and when my right hand goes over left hand I trip but if it goes under I can do 20 crossovers in a row. Almost made 50 the other day with the running place footwork. Thanks for all the tutorials. Still can't do double unders though.😂❤🙏🏾
I can do 10 consecutive triples but I’m so trash at crossovers ( I’m a semi pro badminton player )
I switched to using my left hand as my strong hand for skipping and it helped my crosses as well!! I’m finally getting my double unders, keep practicing and don’t give up they are a tough trick to get down especially consecutive DU and DUX’s!! Bravo, bravo, bravo.Domani provo .Ciao eva
My brethren huge shout out ❤
Crossovers are by far the hardest to learn for me at least boxing kick was difficult too jus bc of timing & rythem I’m be pro level tho 💪🏼 we ain’t settling
Is it 6mm in thickness???
This has been so helpful i now know what i was doing wrong.
Glad it’s helpful 🙏🏽
Will this stop me tripping been doing this for a long time and I can do them but constantly tripping after about 4 or 5
It’s soo much easier for me to do the double cross than the single 😂I am broken gotta get better with the single
Whenever I cross my arms it just just tangled the loop doesn’t continue I’ve tried faster and slower rotations
Thx m8
When I try to jump with my arms crossed my jump rope ends up going to my left side. Does anyone know why this is?
I almost completely missed the tutorial..... I was so shocked by the lack of shades :-D
😂😂😂
Nice, without glasses.
I thought there was something different, but couldn't quite figure it out.😂
😂😂😂
My rope gets twisted in front and ends up catching my toes. It sounds like that's from loss of momentum.
Thanks so much!
my rope always gets a knot when doing it
Always Dropping DIMES👊🏽
