Medium but almost advanced I can do all the main tricks like double unders, crossovers , double unders crossovers, boxer skip and etc but can't do stuff like 360s
Beginner been at it about 3 years but still beginner, a lot of injuries from being dumb or not warmed up and most are not rope related Plus I’m old and fat but really like jump rope, thanks for the tips mate
I would probably consider myself in between advance and intermediate level . Though can do most of it but not for very long , cross over rope and cross doubly unders I think I am pretty good 😊
Proud to be forever a student of the craft🙏😊! It's complicated beginner with glimpses of intermediate flows😎! Grateful you never give up on me Coach!!💛🖤💛
yo rushie i wonder what your thoughts are on Caleb plants skipping style not sure if your too familiar with the boxer . Great boxer but he has a unique super slick skipping style i feel like ive neever seen any one else really look like him when skipping . love the vid big G
That south paw always tangles when i try to do it with my left hand. I'm right hand dominant. When i go to my left it's smooth but the other side it gets tangled.
Coach Rushie I am confused. This video focuses on beginners look. I am trying to get the basic bounce. Focusing on arms. wrist swing, and positioning of arms. So do I this instead.? Tell me what I should be doing please. I will work on it. Thanks
I’m working on the one hand pass move. Can you make a tutorial on this and how you transfer your weight with each step when doing this. It’s such a simple yet effective and slick way to start your combos, which should be in everyone’s arsenal of moves
@@Shajnush-Plays keep practising on your rhythm and timing. Try the boxer Step without the rope to figure the rhythm, then do the boxer step with one arm swings to get your timing right. But you’ll get there soon bro
intermediate... been trying to do the DUXO variation but alas, too hard. If it's just one, perfect. But if I try consecutive DUXO, that's the hard part. Even the switch cross, haha... I have been watching your DUXO tutorials, but still can't do it... grrrrrr... need more practice
i am still extremely newbie because i do everything that you say not to i even watch my recordings of myself skipping and they are exactly the way a newbie would do them O.o i hope the beaded rope i ordered will help me much with control and movement and feel. then i can move onto the Money rope 2.0
I totally get what Rushie is talking about here. There are LOTS of people out there who can skip better than Rushie - they can do more fancy steps, more tricks, releases, etc. However, very few look as slick as Rushie when skipping.
The southpaw with my weaker hand. Makes me look completely ridiculous when I can perfect it with the other side, but that will come with time and practice. Need to conquer that to then get to DU southpaws.
You grow my man, thanks for sharing your knowledge ❤️ Greetings from the Netherlands! Ps: the Netherlands should be introduced with jump rope tbh. Its way more fun then it looks but most of us should find it childish. But it really takes your cardio to a different level
As a competitive athlete who has represented my country on the world stage, I would say I'm advanced. But in my opinion, the only way to lose the "newbie look" is to put in hours of dedication. There is no way to "skip" the newbie stage. So just keep working on your form and add new tricks to your arsenal, and soon you'll advance!
It’s like saying watch how cool I can make this peanut butter and jelly sandwich 🤣🤣🤣 Just do the exercise to increase fitness and move onto the next thing.
Double Unders are definitely all mental. You do have to build up your frontal chain strength, but You have to tell yourself that it's not difficult, get the 2 count "da da" wrist rotation, and just remember to point toes up. All the power comes from the balls of your feet and keeping the abs tight. Something that helps me when I'm going for sets of 20-30 consecutive is breathing like a boxer. "Tss Tss Tss Tss Tss" is how I like to breath.
@@dallasdominguez2224 yeah double unders are crazy bro lol, it’s so hard to land those, I’m still failing. Thanks for the tips, yeah you have put your whole abs tight and rotate those wrists like a maniac lol!! One hug bro! Hopefully I can do them seamlessly
You don’t try and look cool - the rope does that as an added benefit. But remember this..the more advanced movements you use, the more muscles, intensity and focus required which in turn burns more calories 🚀
I've been doing this for 8 months. I use the Ignite set and do 10 minutes light, 1 minute rest, 10 minutes Medium, 1 minute rest, 10 minutes Heavy, 1 minute rest, then the same at 7.5 minutes and 5 minutes. Depending on how much time I have of course. Can do all of the things mentioned in this video but it's scruffy and keep tripping. But I keep trying ! I have low ceilings in the whole of the house, I only have a small suitable area to train in - that doesn't help. I can't jump for any serious amount of time without being exhausted, can do maybe 100 jumps or a couple of minutes and then I'll either need to stop for literally just a few seconds or I'll trip... because of that I class myself as a beginner still.

Another good good vid Rushie! 🤙
I'm a beginner. When I practice it makes me realize how difficult this stuff is that you make look so easy. Bravo!
Respect bro!🙌🏽 fly strong my friend 🔥
There's definitely a difference between "You can do it" vs "You make it look easy". You have helped me understand this philosophy coach. Thank you 🙏
This means a lot mate ☺️ too kind!!🖤💛
Intermediate. Really comes down to the mindset and work ethic. Put in the work, get the results!
Awesome useful video ⭐️
What I love doing with the crossovers is changing the hand on top (it did take a little while with the coordination but in my opinion it looks good)
Amazing tips always coach!!! 🔥🔥
Appreciate you bro!!!!!🖤💛
New digs looks great man!! 👊
Appreciate this 🙏🏽🙏🏽

super useful

I could care less how I look, as long as I get results, I’m doing however I can
agree
Perfect practice makes perfect. Not practice.
I think im using the wrong rope. Do u suggest the wire, pvc or plastic loops!
Also, should I use a longer rope? Urs seems long to me.
Thanx BOSs 💛🖤

Exactly bro. That beginner trick is so slick to get start with. But I just cant do those boxer jumps while doing it.

Legacy now nova rope just came in
Is there a right size rope for height? I feel like I mess up cause the rope is too short
We have a tutorial on this on our jump rope care playlist ☺️

Sir can you please provide your jump ropes in India on Amazon
We been trying for a while 😭
Dear sir i want to buy rope pls send me how to buy
Hey! You can check our website 😀😀
Why are there so many different ideas on rope length
I can do several over 150 is my consecutive record. Actually I'm out of breath instead of tripping

I am decent and jumping rope but the thing I struggle with is what to do with my arms
Let us know which bit you struggle with exactly and some examples and can try help☺️
Definitely intermediate I can do a lot of tricks just working on combos and speed. Footwork is king guys!!!💛🖤
It sure is 💪🏽

Everybody is a newbie at some point. People just like saying they arent one.
Damm I've been in that beginner spot for years...
Remember though it’s about burnin calories and doing a workout not about looking cool. to look “cool” doing is just an added benefit
You don’t try and look cool - the rope does that as an added benefit. But remember this..the more advanced movements you use, the more muscles, intensity and focus required which in turn burns more calories 🚀
Why does it matter if you look like a beginner? If you're jumping, you're jumping. Getting the work out in. Unless it provides a better workout?
Also remember if you are trying to look cool don’t jump rope in yer socks. 🤣 hahaha
Good tips, good video. The intro is too long. Get into the meat after 3 seconds max.
i love potatoes 😑y u care not about me idaho leader...look up public servant and never forget me
Easier said than done 🙄

Is 7000 jumps in 49 minutes ok or should I do more / be faster ?
