i swear I died at this part about 72 times, it was so infuriating but the music was so motivating and the reason I kept going edit: i was recording the whole thing and counted how many times i died: 24 times in total.
same, the water tree escape was way better doable and more intuitive for me and I did not try it as many times as this escape..it felt like the design of this level interrupts the flow of a possible cinematic gameplay sequence which annoyed me at some point 😅
For me it was the final one with mount Horu. Just gave up at that point and watched the ending on YT. Those escape sequences are beautiful, but super annoying, especially if you're not into that genre in the first place, like me. And i think there is a fine balance between challanging and frustrating and the blind forrest ended up to be mostly frustrating for me. Ginso tree was okay, but this ruin escape, the final Mount horu were terrible. That stupid indiana jones rock escape in the blackroot burrows killed me even more often than the Ginso tree. Fortunately the 2nd part was far better in that regard and managed to be challanging without being annoying.
Bro I cannot even attempt to keep it safe I legitimately had to take a break this entire segment of the game pretty much made me give up for a solid 6 months
Didn't really enjoy the other escape sequences as much as the Ginso tree one. This one felt really generic and didn't even have energy spheres (or w/e they're called) to try to pick up along the way). Actually I wish they had cut the escape sequence and instead made a longer sequence where you had to hide from the big bird. That was a great part.
This is such terrible level design, you need to know what happens before hand to do it successfully. All the platforming sections were not established earlier in the level, gliding, using boulders to free up paths and dodging water cannons were introduced in one loud and obnoxious sequence. One of the worst sequences in any game I have palyed.
Nobody said you have to do it the first try. And you only have to be careful at two places. Just stay to your right trigger the rocks to fall in the sexond sequence, and stay to your left in the final sequence. It took me a few tries but the logic is very clear and simple. And why would you even expect to know everything instantly. It's like saying football is a bad game because you can't play like Messi frim the get go. If you want to mindlessly play games without any challenge you should look elsewhere
@@VengeanceGameFiles I am playing the sequel and I CAN DO EVERYTHING FIRST TRY and if I fail it is due to my lack of skill. The designers clearly don't agree with your sentiment.
Thanks man it really helped me to pass this level. Tried several days, and after watching your technic passed it on my third time.
Way to go, , the rest of the game is pretty amazing too ✌️
This was such a fun game with incredible visuals and music
Wait till you see the sequel

@@bamboochaLPP yeah, this was the hardest part in the game i'd say. the music was incredible but i was ruining the entire vibe by just being bad 😭
It's poorly designed IMO. Very frustrating.
@@Howitchewstofeel5gum Naah, not at all.
@@Howitchewstofeel5gumyou being not patient enough to finish the sequence doesn't make it poort design. You are just poor at doing it.
Honestly found this one way harder than the Mt Horu escape
You are hard-core, not losing any health! I am so stuck on this... Did you play with a controller or keyboard?
Hi there, I played on PC with a controller.
this is probably my least favorite part in ori its so infuriating
Agreed, its so rage inducing
For me its the best because its challenging

The best part lol
I just go here and "eeeeeek"
This was super easy comparing to the first escape. It was brutally hard for me
I'm the exact opposite, lol. Beat the first escape on my first try on my current playthrough, but this one is just kicking my ass.
This one harder lol
I ahted these escape sections, wprst part of the game
Perhaps the only different between easy and hard mode that is the damage we gain 🤔

You played the Game without sound?
Why the heck would you want to pickup energy spheres during a escape sequence l.

This are the best parts of the game best track.
