- Hey guys, this is my current PB for Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition Any% (Normal)
Time is from start a new game, to the last cutscene after Naru movement.

I've finished it in 16 hours. I'm approaching slowly to your record.
Seriously try to beat the 3 hr achievement, it's probably not going to involve as much glitching, but the sequence break at the beginning might actually be doable by mortals ^^
Mine's 9 hours
16?! How? It took me about 5 hours and it really feels like I took my sweet time to look at the beautiful landscape
Bro 100% took me 20 hours😅
@@kingvictor2174I'm fine with 99% at 14hrs considering how hellish the last level was🤣 Apart from a few semi-large spirit orbs left, I've collected everything.
I love the way most of this looks like a no major glitches type speedrun, then good knows what’s happening in the Ginso Tree then boom game finished.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I mean, even before that there were some shenanigans with the upgrade menu
What kind of black magic is this
seriously I just beat the game, and it's a wonderful game, and come to see what people have done to beat it and this is some crazy glitch shit
@@pogtuber5146same.
But how?????
What. The. Fuck.
I thought WoTW had an insane any% trick but my god. I can't even fathom how anyone found this. Serious props to the Ori community, this is a mental run.
When a speedrun makes you cry... One of the best games ever made.
wholeheartedly believe this. such a masterpiece, and it’s impressive to see someone break thru the coding wtf i’m mind blown.
Big Ocarina of Time speedrun fan, so very cool to see that Ori also has some crazy glitches going for it.
Very nice run.
99% games out there all have crazy glitches for any% speedrun
GGs and congrats on WR! Very well deserved!
I just beat this game in about 7 hours, was feeling pretty proud of that until I watched this.
Such a cool Speedrun, it's so bizarre and unexpected.
How do people find out about these glitches?
i have no idea, i’m starting to think that ori players are crazier than hk players
Terraria players are also absolutely insane. I saw one where some guy built a machine that gives any item in the game
I think they use reverse engineering but I may be wrong
I think there are a few ways:
- people stumble on them randomly
- runners actively look for ways to break the game
- occasionally you can find and analyze the source code
Those, along with *lots* of time, dedication, and communication/collaboration.
when you program things you realize that the logic behind an engine is actually really sensitive, theres constant ground checks and status checks and if you break one the whole thing can break
I want to start learning this speedrun now. I loved this game before but now I want to try this.
how is it going?
@@vladi3862 .
Any update on the speedrun progress?
I always like to push the boundaries in games like this and I managed to figure out how to get to the energy door but I couldn't come up with a way past it although I figured there was probably a way if I watched a speedrun of the game and sure enough at 5:00 there's the skip, lol.
6:00 the guy just looking like: what in the flying forest is happening right now?
From tree straight to the game end cutscene, what in the magicraft did i just witness?
So basically I just need to do the ginso tree glitch to end the game at the end right?
Pero- DIOS QUE CLASE DE MAGIA ES ESTA?!
GG man ! I tried the new WD and damn it's hard
*Stares*
HOLY CRAP THIS IS AMAZIN HOW-
Its very cool to see this .
You can be proud on you 🎉🎉🎉
I think I dont have to do all this glitches to get the „Beat the game in under 3h“ achievement
I have no idea what you did or what happened after that 1st shortcut but damn. This was impressive. Congrats :)
i literally just beat the game with all secrets. It took me 34.33 h (non-stop time) 💀💀💀💀
this is incredible lmaoooo, now i wanna learn this speedrun
i mean i finish the game under 9 our first try 100%
@@Firewar i mean, most of the time it was me going back trying to find secrets and stuff
If i play it again it most definitely would take me less than 7h or so
@@ayo69420 nice but there was a ablite that show you secret places
@@Firewar yeah that was the last one that i got lmaoooo
My fault
@@ayo69420 damn the same but i got to much energy cell's so fast 😂
This is proof that no game is long we make it long
what a lovely bug-free game
congrats on wr!
Its not a bug its a glitch
@@contona4492 bruh, a glitch is a bug
impressive i have 1066 death on this game
good luck for ur futur speed run
I was really confused about the Ginso Tree then the game ended 💀
What's that "return to save screen" trick you're using during the tree cutscenes?
While the cutscene plays, you can open the skill menu and upgrade something. That makes the game save. Then you quit and reenter to load. The cutscene plays but you can move. If done quick enough it saves time, because you don't have to wait the cutscene.
he finished the game 9 mins, i finished it 9 hours
How do you open x4 door with just 2 energy balls?
You put 2 in the door and then trigger a level up to reset energy. Now you have 2 again, but the ones in the door are still locked
Ummm..... You just.... have to wonder how people figure this totally nonsensical stuff out. Great job!
i have finished after 10 hours and then this guy only 10 minutes lol
The final part was very cool!
This run doesn't even use Bash!
Dude it took me 2 days to complete this amazing game is was so sad and heart warming it made me cry honestly 😢
respect 100%
I had nothing against any% speedrun that use glitches. But what is your time for a 100% in one life mode?
100% one life isn't really a thing. The official categories are no ng+ and restricted. In no ng+ my pb is a bit over 2h
@@xnyu254 Thx for the answer!
How long can you complete the game without using glitches?
The WR is around 37m
crazy
How do you got it to run so smooth ?
It took me like 11 hours over like 4 days to beat it then i see this voodoo magic and idk what even happened
Felt like I ate a mushroom
It took me more than 13 hours to finish, how tf u did it in 13 min
Is this possible on console and if so, is there a tutorial?
no, it's not :( on console the last skip doesn't work, because the logs doesn't save their states. Also, you will need a second jump button and as far as I know this isn't possible on console. But there are indeed other routes you can take, not that fast, but funny to run. Just take a look at the guides section on the ori speedrun-com page
@@xnyu254 Why do you need a second jump button? And I assume you mean 2 separate buttons bound to same function?
@@tatecomedy if you have the teleportation overlay active, while moving, you will need to jump, for the quick suicide on the plant. The problem is, 'jump' is bind to the same key as 'accept' on consoles, so you literally can't jump in this state, and can't execute the glitch. At least, not as fast as in the video. On Keyboard, you can bind your jump action to different button, standard is SPACE and Y Key
my brother did it in only 8:30 hours and he already did all achievement
I wonder how tf someone found those bugs
what😮
Gut gemacht! Unter 10min ist schwerer
Bro that's not a game to speedrun anyway..
tutorial?
You can learn most stuff from this video:
ruclips.net/video/93Ux27oA0io/видео.html
Unfortunately there isn't a guide for the last glitch, but you will probably understand how to do it, if you know the basic run. Otherwise, ask people in the official Ori Speedrun server
@@xnyu254 okay and thanks
WUT?
Can someone explain ? o.o
The stuff at the end? That's a warp displacement. First you need to glitch the ability menu, with that open you can open the teleport menu, but still walk. Now you suicide and press teleport. Ori will respawn, but the teleport timer is triggered and you can move. If you now manipulate the angle of Ori (done by standing on the floating log) you can literally teleport into the last cutscenes.
It has a really low chance that the log get's stuck in the plants, so you can jump on it to manipulate the angle - but it is possible.
@@xnyu254 Oh, so it's like cheating?
@@RobertLopez-yf8zi It's a lot harder to do than to beat the game as intended.
@@RobertLopez-yf8zi bro said oh it’s like cheating XD these glitches are way harder to pull off rather than just beating the game lol
Bruda, du hast das Game häftig zerfickt.
Ori and What the Fuck ?
Лучше бы я это не видел

I hope ori 3 got multiplayer, lot more Bosses and both pvp+cp-op with ability to rly customize ur spirit of The forest.
I love ori but for 3d release id rly hope for player choise what spirit to be and with online as I said multiplayer. The "2D"
Anyway The "2D" could make for Great pvp.

Would be a dream.
Im on my phone so dunno how to Edit..
@@MetalMadeMidget three dots, then click edit

bugs, glitches, valueless record
ok, got it, the game is glitchy af. the question is: is there any fun in such kind of speedruns?
yeah how about don't glitch the game...you're the clown of the year.
@@mmcv9625 gatekeeping?? WTF...he used GLITCHES/BUGS in the game. He didn't play the game, he glitched the game
That's literally what Any% means. Any% are results of combining mechanical skill, game knowledge and whatever magic the community finds throughout the years. Don't like it, then watch the normal speedruns.
