Hello, firstly I want to thank you for creating this video. It's nice to see that Indians are starting homebrewing. It's a day 5 of my ginger bug and it's started to bubble little bit. So I am going to make ginger beer tomorrow with that bug. I have also ordered some instant dry active yeast from amazon to check tj and difference between using bug and yeast. With the bug, it's good for gut because it has lacto bacteria with the yeast but the sour smell is not so good when something. I have few questions and I would really appreciate it if you can answer them. 😊 1 : Should I worry about producing methanol alcohol when making this beer? 2 : Is there's any way to use less sugar so the final product has less calories but at least 4% alcohol? 3 : Just out of curiosity, I made some ginger tea by boiling ginger, cloves, pepper, star, sugar in the water and kept it in bottle for 2 days without adding yeast or bug and it has now reduced in sweetness and tastes like "tadi" or natural alcohol. How did this happen? 4 : Using baker's yeast really safe and does it taste good? Thank you so much again. Nice work on videos. I also saw your coke video and I wanted to ask you the reason for extra sugar as coke already has a lot of sugar in it.
Hi Mr. Niraj, thanks for showing interest in my channel and following all the recipes. Here are answers to your questions: 1 : Should I worry about producing methanol alcohol when making this beer? Ans: No, you should not be worried. Methanol is only produced when you divert from your recipe. I mean if you interfere the natural fermentation process by boiling it or adding uncontrollable quantity of yeast etc. Hope you get my point. 2 : Is there's any way to use less sugar so the final product has less calories but at least 4% alcohol? Ans: You can reduce the sugar definitely, my recipe contains the optimum used quantity which should yield around 6-8% alcohol in the final product within 1-2 weeks. Ans: That's a natural process, when you mix natural ingredients in sugar mixture, it will start to reduce automatically. I haven't try it ever and seems something new to me. But make sure no foul smell is there before consumption. In these type of recipes, natural yeast comes into action and that's why fermentation happens. To be sure, you can check the carbonation signs in case any kind of bubbling action is happening. 4 : Using baker's yeast really safe and does it taste good? Ans: Yes, baker's yeast is good to be consumed for edible products. It is not ideal for wine making but it not even harmful. Taste wise, definitely there would be a very minor pinch of yeast's taste but it doesn't dominate. If you do not want to use yeast, prefer to make Ginger Bug and use the same, it will help. If you are using yeast in Coke recipe, then it wont make a large difference in taste, so you can use it. At last again I would like to thank you for watching my videos and wish you a great day ahead. Till the time fermentation is active, carbonation will keep happening. Let it ferment upto 5-7 days till it fades and then you can refrigerate it. Should be good to consume. If you feel that sugar is still there, let it sit for 2-3 more days and so on till you get desired results. In case you want to consume extremely carbonated drink, you can recharge the liquid using an empty bottle, 2-3 GM's of powdered sugar and put the content in that. Hi Mr. Samarth, first of all thanks for watching my video. I don't suggest to increase the sugar levels, but if you want to, then extend the brew period from 7 to 10 days till it ferments and it probably migh increase the alcohol levels too.
Hydrometer it's called and you can explore online when delivery starts. It's easily available online. Comes with alcohol readings already. It's called brewing hydrometer. Though you don't need to buy in case you don't brew regularly as it's very delicate and you have to take good care of it once you have it.

I can talk, but let's discuss here so that our discussion could benefit other people as well. Thanks for the words of appreciation and enjoy your brew!
No toxins as such if you have followed the process exactly in the same manner. Yeast doesn't create any harm but I have already suggested in my video to leave the bottom content and not to consume it. And Yeast is not harmful in such small quantities. What you will consume will contain very negligible quantity of yeast, majority of which will be already settled at the bottom. In case you entirely want to wipe it out, I suggest to follow the sedimentation process carefully and pour the content in other bottles leaving the visible yeast behind. Your breads and many food items already contain yeast. Hope it will help. Rest to be double sure, I request you to google information about it as well. Thanks for watching my view, please subscribe to my channel and have a nice evening ahead. TC
Yes it can go more than 12%. Around on 8th day it should show you this result. Because of summer season, fermentation is speeding up and if you are using good quality ingredients, it will definitely shoot up. The estimates I provided in the video were basis on wintwr conditions. I suggest you make it this time, you won't be disappointed. Thanks for viewing and appreciating the efforts....
dheeraj mahar Hi Mr. Dheeraj, glad you are making it. Refrigerate it after 7th day till you consume. Just keep a check intermittently on the pressure in the bottles initially for 2-3 days. You can keep it in fridge till you finish it. Good luck and have a nice evening! TC
Hi Sagar, it will be with foam. Don't just shake the bottles during discharge and resting process. 6th day you will have enough gas produced to have a frothy beer. Enjoy!
You definitely can. But if you feel there is less punch, please put 5 gms sugar in each bottle and wait for 2 days. Fizz will come back and it will taste better. Keep an eye on the pressure in the meantime. Let me know how it comes out 5th day. Enjoy!
It didn't happen with me or others. Yeast will react to prepare ethanol or methanol if you will try to warm up the liquid or divert from normal process diverting from normal fermentation process. However, as my disclaimer says, this recipe is purely for educational purpose and I cannot warrant any chemical composition. Please explore more for your pretty valid concerns. Hope you will understand my concern. Take care and Good Night!
If properly kept with regular discharge of gas for initial few days, you can even keep it for 2 months. But prefer to consume it in a month as it doesn't have any preservatives.

Hi Mr. Vibhu, my extreme apologies for delayed response, you comments lied unattended till now somehow got missed by me. You can simply put in another bottle after 5th day leaving the sediments at the bottom of the old bottle and throw it. Sedimentation is the best way to filter it, else you will end up losing carbonation from the drink. Hope it will help. Thanks for watching and have a nice day ahead. TC

Sir carbonation happens to make it a beer. If you will use balloon, you will not be able to preserve gas in it and it will not become beer, rather it will become a plain drink without gas. That's why I insisted on using high pressure cold drink bottles so that we can retain the gas. Hope now you can understand.
Let me know where you missed. Exact mins and seconds, I will provide the instructions here. My apologies for this inconvenience, it was a software rendering issue which I came to know later.
After 7 days, fermentation process will automatically start stopping. Just keep it in fridge and check for excessive pressure at regular intervals. If you have used correct volume of yeast, fermentation should ideally stop around 7th day. Let me know in case of any further questions.
@@munnokelaiya1052 means you used additional yeast :) Filteration of the whole liquid was already done before bottling. Extra yeast sometimes spoils the taste a bit. Don't worry about yeast, it will settle at the bottom of the bottles. If you will try to filter it out, you will lose all the fizz in the beer. If it's already flat, you can filter using 2-3 layers of cotton cloth of hanky. But if there is a fizz, don't filter it and let it sit at the bottom, no harm. Just make sure when you are pouring in the glass, pour it very gently so that yeast doesn't mix in the whole bottle again, yeast flavour is not that good. Enjoy!
Great, you must be excited to taste it. Wait for 6th evening at least. For best results, consume some on 7th day cold and refrigerated. Hope fermentation has started. Let me know in case of any further query. Enjoy!
@@srilalithabeautyparlour not required. Yeast will settle down at the bottom. It won't harm and fermentation will also going on. I'm going to burp these bottles tomorrow morning and then let it sit for entire day until they tight again and put them into fridge. 😊 I like foam and carbonation
Wow, just amazing.
Can’t wait to taste.
I could not get the English captions to work today? Otherwise looks good!
Thanks a lot for the positive feedback
Gonna try it
Good luck!
Sir
bottle kaa pressure roj release karna hota he kya
Yes, prefer to do it 3 times a day. Else 2 times is a must, else bottles will explode. Please don't miss it.
@@MGTheories ok dhanyawad sir
Balloon laga de to bi teen bar gas niklana hoga ji???
@@CharanjitSingh-vk8vt Sir ginger beer pe balloon nahi lagana hai. Please use cold drink plastic bottles with cap. In this video I haven't used balloons anywhere. That was in yeast starter and just for demonstration purpose.
Can we add more sugar for making it more potent
Hi Mr. Samarth, first of all thanks for watching my video. I don't suggest to increase the sugar levels, but if you want to, then extend the brew period from 7 to 10 days till it ferments and it probably migh increase the alcohol levels too.
Bro ye gravity meter ka name batado please konsa hai hydrometer ya alcohol meter
Hydrometer it's called and you can explore online when delivery starts. It's easily available online. Comes with alcohol readings already. It's called brewing hydrometer. Though you don't need to buy in case you don't brew regularly as it's very delicate and you have to take good care of it once you have it.
Hi manish bro aaj maine beer taste ki hai very strong in feeling lemon & ginger gives test like real bear & fill of space of hops / but i missed natural colour of beer & filtration overall i giving 8/10 rating bro thank👍🙏🍺
Thanks a lot for such an excellent feedback. Enjoy!
For color, you should try coke beer recipe :)
Bhai thoda music kam kar lo .. cant really hear u at last .. nyz nice way to pass lockdown days .. micro brewing
Yes I have replaced the video with a tuned one.. thanks for precious feedback. Now you can experience a better quality.
@@MGTheories .. thanks for this video and I must appreciate your prompt response.. can you talk or WhatsApp if anything is required regarding this brewing or else here is also fine ..
I can talk, but let's discuss here so that our discussion could benefit other people as well. Thanks for the words of appreciation and enjoy your brew!
@@MGTheories .. well thanks in adv.. let be prepare my first batch and surely I will come back to you for queries .
Final product toxic to nani hota & will yeast cause any health problems since we take product without killing those microbes?
TC
Same yeasts we ate in pizaa dough, bread, cake and many bakery products 😉
I got drunk already with your video effects haha
Sir iske alcohol percentage badha ne ke liye kya kar na hoga...kya ye 12% se upar jaye ga.?aur kya bread bana ne wali yeast se kaam banega.?plz reply
Bro we are making this
Can we store this after 7 days
If yes what will be the process
dheeraj mahar Hi Mr. Dheeraj, glad you are making it. Refrigerate it after 7th day till you consume. Just keep a check intermittently on the pressure in the bottles initially for 2-3 days. You can keep it in fridge till you finish it. Good luck and have a nice evening! TC
Sir kya isme foam market wali beer jaisa banega ya kam banega ?
Hi Sagar, it will be with foam. Don't just shake the bottles during discharge and resting process. 6th day you will have enough gas produced to have a frothy beer. Enjoy!
@@MGTheories thanks sir...
Today 5th day. Fermantation stoped. There is no gas from bottles. What next. May I taste it tomorrow
You definitely can. But if you feel there is less punch, please put 5 gms sugar in each bottle and wait for 2 days. Fizz will come back and it will taste better. Keep an eye on the pressure in the meantime. Let me know how it comes out 5th day. Enjoy!
What I meant toxic is, is it possible that yeast may form methanol instead of ethanol?
It didn't happen with me or others. Yeast will react to prepare ethanol or methanol if you will try to warm up the liquid or divert from normal process diverting from normal fermentation process. However, as my disclaimer says, this recipe is purely for educational purpose and I cannot warrant any chemical composition. Please explore more for your pretty valid concerns. Hope you will understand my concern. Take care and Good Night!
Sir ye beer banane k baad kitne dino tak fridge me rakh sakte hai...
If properly kept with regular discharge of gas for initial few days, you can even keep it for 2 months. But prefer to consume it in a month as it doesn't have any preservatives.
To sir market me jo original beer milta hai wo hum bahot dino tak fridge me rakh ke pite hai.. wo to bigadti nahi.. aur wine to jitni old utni hi achhi maani jati hai...
@@SingersMusicalEra because that contains preservatives and also comes with a shelf life of 6 months. It's made under optimum manufacturing conditions and in our case everything matters, water quality, chlorine content, quality of ginger, quality of yeast and process you have followed. Hope that helps.
Ok sir thanks... Ek request hai aap meri chennal ko ek baar jarur dekhe.. me ek singer hu... Mere gane aapko jarur pasand aayege... Achha lage to subscribe bhi kijiyega...
@@SingersMusicalEra sure, doing it right now
Sir mene ginger beer banai he abi 3rd din me hi wo bottle kaa pressure release kiya to aaj foam thoda bahar tak aane lag gaya
ab aage kya karna chahiye ...3 din daily release kardiya thaa
Keep releasing till it is building pressure and don't miss this step. Do it 3 times a day. If foam is coming outside that means your beer is coming good. You will get excellent results by 7th day.
And you might have opened it suddenly which throws the foam out of the bottle. Discharge it slowly in a step by step manner.
ok Thnku sir
Sir
meri banai beer ko 6 din ho gaye aaj usme kal ke compare air nahi bani ab kya use freez me rakhdu kya
@@windchannel8093 Yes please refrigerate it now. It's ready to drink if the fermentation has stopped. Do share the results how it came out. Good luck and enjoy!
How can we get 8 or 9% alcohol in beer , pls reply
Hi Mr Divyang, for that you need to tweek the recipe a bit by increasing sugar by 200 GM's and yeast by 1 gm more. Additionally, you need to rest the bottles in cool and dark place for additional 3-4 days till all sugar goes off. Hope it will help. Thanks for watching and have a nice day ahead.
How to filter and consume it
TC
Bhai ye 2 ya 3 din me pi sakte hai?
I will suggest to have it after 3rd Day. May be on 4th day evening you can have it, you will love the kick.
Bhai ek baat batao....Bottle caps ki jagah baloon ka istemal kar sakte hai??? Ta ki gas ko bar bar release na karna pade....click on weblink Rose Wine
ruclips.net/video/Dn8VbNpJm74/видео.html
Sir carbonation happens to make it a beer. If you will use balloon, you will not be able to preserve gas in it and it will not become beer, rather it will become a plain drink without gas. That's why I insisted on using high pressure cold drink bottles so that we can retain the gas. Hope now you can understand.
@@MGTheories Thanks Bro...for valuable advice
Awesome.. soon I am gonna make this👆
video me voice se jyada music hai sunahi deta hai. isliye.. aap last me yeast k bare me kya Bata rahe ho... vo sunahi nai deraha....

7 din ke baad fermentation proses keise bandh kare?
aur filter nahi krna padega?🤔
After 7 days, fermentation process will automatically start stopping. Just keep it in fridge and check for excessive pressure at regular intervals. If you have used correct volume of yeast, fermentation should ideally stop around 7th day. Let me know in case of any further questions.
MG Theories , Thanks for rply
2 lt. ke liye 1.25 tea spoon yeast use kiya ho, to?
aur filter ka proses?🤔
Enjoy!
thank you sooooo much bro..
for details..👌🙏
MG Theories, me gujarat se hu..
aur yaha ye Sab try nahi kr sakta me...

I have completed 2 days process.
Great, you must be excited to taste it. Wait for 6th evening at least. For best results, consume some on 7th day cold and refrigerated. Hope fermentation has started. Let me know in case of any further query. Enjoy!
@@MGTheories what process after 7 days. May I filter this liquid from old bottle to new bottle ?
@@srilalithabeautyparlour not required. Yeast will settle down at the bottom. It won't harm and fermentation will also going on. Just keep in refrigerated after 7th day and keep checking for pressure inside bottles. Although, I suggest start consuming after 7th day, you will receive satisfactory results if there is sufficient pressure inside bottles. Enjoy!
@@MGTheories gud evng sir, today reached 4th day . The gas is full down compare with previous days. Any problems in this process ?
I released gas from bottles 3 time per day
Background music volume too high

Bottling ke 12 ghante bad shake karne par bubbling hoti hai but mene 4 ghante bad gas release karne k koshish ki to gas release nahi hua.
Have you used yeast and activated it before bottling? If yes, then fermentation should ideally start by now. Seema your fermentation has not started. Please check Once again for carbonation. And hope you didn't keep in fridge.
@@MGTheories yes I have add mixture of 1 cup (ginger bug) which I used after 5 days as per method. I kept bottle in room temperature not in fridge.
