I hope you survive! The wide wheels use the original V1 parts with metal 1/16 truck wheels added to the front, with WPL wheel weights and V4 foams inside the tyres.
I made a post on the wheels that you might be interested in on my FB page... m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0ypBpUKRPMGu4L5gRfRuKYk6cXDLAeP5cV359gRZ8nrE42yTycf4QAS2ucqeNZj5sl&id=100064844706279
Nice wheels! I had a quick question, I just got a wpl c24-1 and it’s my first rc truck so I’ve been slowly upgrading it, but my question is did you only use one foam per tire or did you have to double up the foam? And do I have to add the wheels weights to make the tires stay on the wheels? Thanks in advance 🤙🏽
Hey Joe, cheers! The wheels had one WPL foam to the outside, with the WPL wheel weight on the inside, the shape of the wheel weight helps support the tyre. I suspect you could do without the weights if you cut a wider foam or as you suggest used two.
@@smallscaleadventures sounds good, appreciate the feedback, great videos btw, helps out a lot with trying to figure out how things should be done, appreciate it again 🤙🏽
Yeah definitely. These ones are doubled up with V1 wheels to make them double width, but I also do an in between width by cutting the barrel and inner rim off of the WPL wheel and gluing into the face of the metal wheel.
@@smallscaleadventures ah yes didn't you make a video on it I think I saw it I bought them for my c24 didn't know they were for the b36 so I'm missing 2 adapters gotta 3d print 2 more didn't know they were double rims lol
@@rockman49er yeah you can buy a variety of different sets with the same wheels, the shallow hubs for mounting the dually wheels and the chunky hubs for the fronts. I've used them every which way but how they were designed :-)
Thanks! The wheels are made with the original C24 parts - WPL V1 wheels and tyres, with KM weights and V4 foams, the metal dish is a 1/16 truck wheel mounted on the front. Thanks, it's standard WPL units, but with slightly lighter weight C54 springs fitted. These ball end links certainly help the movement and the wheel weights do keep the tyres planted.

There's no trans raise on this one, it uses a flat C34KM gearbox, It needs a couple of cuts to the gearbox mounts and two new mounting holes in the chassis. If you would like a more detailed look my previous video is a step by step for how I mounted it.
Hi There, the wheels are made by mounting a 1/16 truck wheel on the front of a WPL V1 wheel. The WPL tyre is then stretched to fit over both wheels. Like this, but in this video I use MN wheels and tyres. ruclips.net/video/LLIVw5E1dLI/видео.html

Wow!.. tremendous 😃👍👍 thanks for sharing, New friend.
Nice Pick-up truck! Those rims and tires are so cool!
Thanks! They are quite straightforward to build with a set of the original tyres and a set of 1/16 metal truck wheels.
Looks great, Mark! I like the deep dish wheels.🔥
Cheers man, I do like a dishy wheel.
Nice ride man !
Thanks!

How did you get the extra suspension travel
Hi Richard, it's stock travel, but lighter weight springs from the C54 body set help, plus the WPL wheel weights keep it planted.
👍🏿
How did you raise trany and engine casing up so it wouldn't hang up on everything ?????
