Yes standard MN RTR and metal upgrade straight axles bolt up to the 168 truss.

It's a standard length metal drive shaft for one of the 4x4 trucks - it is a little more extended than I would like, but seems to work fine.

@@coollikesatan I used a (slightly shorter) D22 chassis for this because I had one spare, but and D series would do - Its probably better with a D12 or D32 chassis, which would only require around 10mm of extending. @@aces6262 Thanks! I don't think some of the proportions of the MN body are quite right, but overall it is very good. As you say with the straight axles and scale size wheels they are a nice scale model of the real thing. Yeah this one has the stock radio.

@@willdatsun I don't sell the prints - I do occasionally print for people, but I have a bit of a backlog at the moment and the cold weather is hampering consistent printing. The wheel files are available for free so it's just a case of finding someone who offers a print service. If you are in the UK Brendan's 3D Printing have produced good work from my designs before.

1/18 scale seem to use either 1" or 1.3" bead lock type wheels with 7mm hex fittings so the WPL based wheels wont fit. There might be some way to build them with a combination of parts but I have no idea really what's available for that sort of car because I don't own any myself.

you will have to dismantle the axles and move the input cover (pinion) to the other side, then flip the axle round, I cant remember if this is possible with the stock axles. Otherwise you will have to swap back to a gearbox that does not have counter rotation.

@smallscaleadventures It's still on stock portal axels. Currently can't complain about the extra High speed. Next time I take it apart I will see 😁.

They are 5mm LED's pushed through holes in the body - I suppose I should get round to wiring them up!

@@ainuddinfadzil5402 It is mounted on the front grill/headlamp panel. To give extra strength to the whole body the cab and bed are stuck together.

Hi there I use 5.5" figures, these are a bit tight requiring the seat faces cutting off and their heads hit the roof - but they are actually a bit under scale for the full vehicle. 6" would be a better 1/12 scale but probably just a touch too big without 'surgery'.

The stock portal axles have 12mm hex axles.

There's no mods to the suspension, but weighted wheels and the extra mass of the metal axles get the absolute best out of what there is.

The cage was assembled from brazed together brass rod. Yeah it would be possible to print something similar, but I can't point you towards a file for one.

They are resin prints rather than FDM, so that is pretty much as they come off the printer.

@@alfi386 Hi there, it is a 5.5" figure from the old British TV series Primeval. They are not made anymore but can be found on UK eBay. The right leg was removed at the knee.

@@westrayskiffman Hi Phil, this one is quite a way from stock. It has WPL straight axles fitted in place of the MN portals - this requires swapping to WPL trusses also. My other one is swapped to MN straight axles. The MN axles are wider than the WPL ones. This truck has the wide version of my 3D printed wheel design, but the MN version has to use a more stock width wheel. Even then the track width is still too wide. To get the wheels you would have to either print them yourself or find someone locally who would print them for you. The files are linked in the video description along with some other details of the build.

These are the Stock version, not the narrower version. When I drew and named the narrow version I don't know I was going to create this one. Narrow is only 1mm different to the original file. For this look it is the Stock file you want.

@@smallscaleadventures Great, I understand you. And how did you remove the pillar-like supports (which are on the stock V2 version)?

@@lexxanplay I resin print, so the thin section of those supports just break off. Its a hang over from when i used to design my prints to print flat off the back of the wheel.
