Order the new sound kit all worked well during the bench test, then put unit on model, sound worked for a few trial runs, but once I engaged the shift servo, the sound quit. I did follow the instructions and watched the video, for hooking up the wires, (red is positive, brown is negative, and yellow is signal), also observed the proper polarity. Which of course is obvious, seeing as it was working. I at first thought my battery was undercharged, I’m using a 7.2 volt, like the one from my hunia 573.
I purchased a WPL C14 after years away from the RC hobby. What lured me on to these trucks was the fact that they could be upgraded and possibilities seemed endless esp of you have a a smidgeon of creativity. Next came the C24 which the C14 donated a great deal of parts to over time. Then the MN99 and Fayee FY003 came most recently and they have also become one truck at this point. After watching this it's tempting to buy another C24 kit and do it all over again! 🙂

Normally really like your videos but I found the "run" a bit painful to watch. I really like the idea of the sound but in actual fact it's just a bit pants! And still sounds like a diesel? Maybe a little easier terrain next time to actually show off what the truck can do rather than what it can't 🤷♂️. Any way, I still love watching your channel and I will be back for more next time 😉
No worries dude, it's nice to see some constructive criticism, people are often too nice lol. Anyway, this was a brand new place i'd never been to before, so was a bit trial and error. Along with putting the steering link on wrong, it was the best I could do. I have always said these are decent 'trail trucks' rather than crawlers. Although I think the winch test will show a few people its capabilities. As for the sound, i guess the camera doesn't do it too much justice, and also because the speaker is now a lot smaller, you can't quite get the quality of something like the ESS Dual. Anyway, no offence taken ;)
I call them, tinkerers dreams, out of the box, even the kit version, has much room to grow, and nobody would ever claim that they were in any way a matchup to pricier big brands, but by the time you fully upgrade one of these to every feature it can have, your still under the big brand in the same scale, and can outperform them

It's so you can use it just as a Sound Kit...
HEY CAN THAT SUSPENSION FIT ON MY WPL C24 CHASSIS???!!!!!! PLSSS ANSWER
This is a 'B' Chassis. Takes a bit of work to get it to fit
It looks like the Stamford Legend Colin Furze's truck :D
Yes, I could deliver it to him, he’s only 30mins away from me 😎
@@TomleyRC Oh!, you're local to me as well then if that's the case!, Colin lives the other end of the same town.
@@daviddorson5111 N Hykeham
@@TomleyRC Not far at all then!
Did you paint this in those colours?
Yes, primer grey with some weathering
I just ordered one will I get this new version do u think
Depends where you order from I think. Hopefully iy will be the newer one
Good day for a "run"!
Yes....not from my legs haha
Are the v.2 and v.3 transmitters finally full promotional with the v.2 or v.3 board??
V2 and V3 only work on the respective boards, and they are both fully proportional
@@TomleyRC thank you💯
So are these water proof
They can be, but you need to put your own waterproofing on
Hey where did you mount the speaker on your c24?
As it's the small V3 one, it fits nicely in the cab out the way
Did you have to cut anything to put it there?
By the way love your channel its been very helpful.
Benjamin Moss It is very small, so fits in with no cutting needed
awesome! 👏👏👏👏
My v2 setup was having power loss for the motor, cannot go forward and reverse, but the sound still there. Servo still works, what should I do? Many thanks
hmmm not sure. Sounds like and issue on the board
Try swapping your motor out.
@@RainytheNB yup the motor is the problem, even though we just got it several week ago and played with it not that much. Order a new motor and now it run again, Thanks
@@perbowowicaksono252 No problem. I've had that problem before.
I know you mentioned it but what kind of winch did you use ¿¿
WPL
I boght mine off of amazon for 60 bucks im sure im gonna be satiisfied
What is this truck speed
I turned everything on how to bind?
Have you got the car1/car2 set to car 1? Press the button on the controller as per the instructions
Anyway, no offence taken ;)
fun rig
I call them, tinkerers dreams, out of the box, even the kit version, has much room to grow, and nobody would ever claim that they were in any way a matchup to pricier big brands, but by the time you fully upgrade one of these to every feature it can have, your still under the big brand in the same scale, and can outperform them
Man if you're still in any kind of partnership with wpl why don't you get talking with them about becoming a UK distribution center for them? I bleeding hate waiting for China mail! You have the space for stock with your unit!! 🤣
I so wish they came with a more stock sounding 4cyl engine. :(
4 cyl Diesel 👍
@@TomleyRC nah. I want gas 4cyl sound, like my 1:1 1980 had.
good job.
"With NEW LCG steering link!!!"
