What about turn signal taillights and reversing lights, when there are only sockets for the front lighting? I have an MN Models MN99s gray 😸
MY C24-1 is perfect, I would like the sound an winch but i don;t need to go fast. Little more torque would be ok but really it climbs almost straight up an down hehehe. I freaking Love it.

I did not read the instructions. I followed your video to the T. Thank you. It works great, Diesel sound is amazing. Its not as fast to react on trigger as the original one but I have to get used to it.
yea diesel engines have longer stroke, heavy internals, lazy reaction
I Have a few questions
1. What improvements does this Res V3 & controller have, over the stock proportional receiver & remote for C54-1?
2. In terms of throttle modulation & sensitivity, when we pull/push the throttle trigger. Is it much smoother ?
3. Will it work with the stock counter rotate gearbox + 260 motor ?
4. What difference is the Diesel vs Petrol receiver set? In terms of performance/throttle response etc
does this work with mn99s? or can u suggest one and make a tutorial for it.. thanks in advance..

Only WPL make such combo, and at low price. Another months later we will have another powerful combo.

Well, I finished that C24 KM and it got stolen 3 days later, so I am staring over again, hhhh. I got stuck with the plain -1 kit this time and it sucks as compared to the KM.

How would you go about connecting the 6-pin connector from a stock MN99s to the 4 pairs of JST PH connectors on this board?
Please do not use connectors from MN. they are reversed. you risk frying it
Can you trim the steering? Mine just steer way too far that the steering rod pops out so easily.

Nice video! I just fried my v3 esc. 😂 I didnt notice that the switch and motor port were switched as i assembled it back to the truck. As i turn it on. It smoked. 😂😂 Gotta order an esc again.

Please confirm orientation of servo lead plug-ins to the rail. it appears on your video, that you plug them in horizontally, however the diagram appears to show a vertical plug-in. Which direction is correct?
Please follow the instruction in the video as that's showing you that it works horizontally.
The "vertical plug-in" you mentioned in the diagram just accurately reflects the orientation of the pin plastic mount on the board, not the plug orientation, and there's no way to alter this on the physical board as it's a standard pin in the industry

Thanks for the video. How does this board mount in a D12 chassis? The mounting hole doesn’t seem to line up anywhere…
this board does not have a hole at all. you can trim away the mounting pole on the d12 to fit this
Can I connect one of yours 15A brushed ESC to the winch output on RES-V3 to power a more powerful winch?

I bought a replacement for my son b24. Upgrade using a cheap micro servo .. esc 20a and dumborc transmitter. Still trying to figure out how to fit in. When i found this.. i saw on your store i go like " why did i dont see this earlier !" Since i dont want the replacement go on wasted .. im still trying figure it out how to.
Dear WPL I recently received the new edition RES-V3. It looks a little different as the power inlet is clearly red, nice touch. My question is I would like to mount the board in the battery tray and battery in the bed of my old B1. Can I use some cushion under the board e.g. electric tape or foam and hot glue it in place? Thanks in advance.

Hey Edward! Where can we get the LEDs for the rear (and turn signal) lights that plug into the RES-V3 and have the proper 2 pin white plug? My C34 LED headlights have a large black servo connector plug and do not fit.

I received my D12 RC truck from WPL direct from China, no issues there. The gearbox was really noisy and the rear axle partially locked. I contacted WPL about it who asked me to send a video, I didn't have the facility to do that but then heard nothing at all, I left a disgruntled comment on their Facebook page which did get there attention and I was accused of slander - false of course as for it to be slander it has to be lies. Since then I have still heard nothing whatsoever, so I'm left with a car that I have to somehow repair myself. Now I know why they don't accept PayPal, this should have been the first warning sign. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

We have 10s of thousands of happy customers. Just be patient when you need help, and follow the procedure so we can help you. Saying not having the facility doesn't help. Going around spamming accusing the brand doesn't help either.

Hello. Is it possible to disable auto brake? I find it really annoying and it's made me look for different electronics.
I need the truck to roll when I release the accelerator not to brake automatically and constantly need power even on downhills..
Auto Brake/Drag Brake exist on the Low Speed Gear mode only.
On High Speed Gear there's no Auto brake/Drag brake.
Also check to make sure your drivetrain is smooth
Well for most we want the car to stay still even on downhill.

I desperately need your advice, I have upgraded my WPL RTR B36 with all metal transmission, RES-V3 board, 2-speed gearbox and motor, speaker in roof of cab, but the new V3 board is larger than the old one and I cannot get the cab back onto the chassis rails it will not sit level on the rails, do I have to modify the cab to get it to fit snugly?

hey my d12s transmitter is acting crazy so what happened was when i pressed the throttle back it went in reverse when you pull the throttle back it’s supposed to go forward can you help me figure it out i’m kinda confused
Just swap the motor wires bro

What does it mean if the lights flash slowely after binding motor is disabled but steering servo works

@@EdwardChew yea thanks. It runs the motor in n 3s so I can drive it but sounds packed in completely. Reverse lights only blink twice even on 3s but at least will drive. Ordered another one. See how it goes. It’s like it stopped reading the voltages correctly. Watched a few of
Your videos and tried a few things. So I put it done to a bad esc Thankyou. If the new one I have ordered works ok I’ll put them in my 3 hilux’s to. Thanks again.

i just buy the rtr b-24 i am wanting to change to sound system v3 as is much better can i too upgrade the motor from standard 180 to the 370 ?? will it fit inside the b24 ?? also second question is if now im going to replace the old electronic for this new v3 do i need to make modification for the steering servo to go inside or does it just screw in easy no modification required??? thanks edwardRC
if you want to upgrade to 370 motor, get the dual speed gearbox together ya, then yes it fits. if your b24 rtr is proportional then don't need to to change steering servo, use the one comes with it
Can you help me, i have all the commections correct and polarity are correct. But the motor is the only one that do not run and make any engine sound. I tried 2 kinds of motor one is 180 and one is 370 all connection worked we except for the motor. What is wrong?

open your remote, make sure the antenna is away from the board
open your d12 front cab, make sure antenna is away from the board
if that doesnt solve. may need a new receiver

??? that means your Car Switch jumper on the receiver is on Car 2
@@EdwardChew no. I tryed both position. In every position of jumper after binding lights on the car goes off. Always need to press both buttons on remote to switch to "other" car and i have only one.

theatrically yea but be careful with polarity when you are using any plug from MN. try checking in the MN fb group see if anyone has done it. I havent build mine :D

to be accurate, as long as you can make sure the stall current draw of the 540 motor is within 7A, you can run it. Can you?

can you parallel the light source from the front to the back. but it will be dimmer
Ich habe schon versucht an die Scheinwerfer ein paar LEDs für das Rücklicht anzuschließen aber dann leuchtete überhaupt nichts mehr. Gibt es noch eine andere Möglichkeit das Rücklicht anzuschließen?

Hi I see there is no esc? What is the point of the brushless esc that wpl recommends?
ESC is built into this receiver. it's an all in one receiver.
We didn't recommend brushless esc but this RES-V3 is able to control and external BL ESC and you still have the engine sound

Voltage cut. Please use lipo. Make sure voltage is above 6.1V under load

How do you get the tail light port to work, mine has no voltage at any light ports except the headlight port, any idea?
tail light port is actually reverse light. So only has voltage when you push the throttle trigger for the 2nd time

run through an adjustable step down BEC from battery to output 3V for LED. or getting the right resistor resistance value.

Yeap you can. just watch for the polarity every single time you plug it in
