You are such a lovely man. You have so much empathy for others, & it really shows. I enjoy your perspectives & thanks to you & your lovely family for sharing a little bit of your/their time connecting with complete strangers through the international language/emotions of great music
Your children think we give them strength. Most don't know, until they have kids, how much strength they give us. To lose a child is like losing part of your heart and soul.
There is never the expectation that Craig sings this. There are days he does at the end of his concerts but most times, he is honest that it would destroy him to sing it. He is a great artist.. and so many you should hear.
He came off the stage that night and said he’d never perform it again. Ricky Skaggs and a few others told him he needed too to help everybody going through a similar experience.
The impact shines through even more when you see some of his earlier work. What I Love About Sunday is a great song that showcases him before this tragedy.
I saw an interview with him, I believe on the Kelly Clarkson show, and he said that singing this song still takes so much out of him that it’s an in-concert decision each night whether he will sing it-often he knows he won’t be able to get through it. Without a doubt one of the most painful, beautiful songs ever. And on another note... This, my friend, is why there’s almost 24,000 subscribers to Taylor Family Reactions. Just your raw reaction, in real time; that’s all, and it’s enough. It takes courage to post a reaction to a song like this, especially knowing it going in. We all appreciate it, even when it hurts.
Craig Morgan is one of my favorite artists and an underrated one. This song hits you right in the heart with emotion! Almost Home, This Aint Nothing, and That's What I Love About Sunday are some of his best songs. Thanks for reacting to him!
I lost my first born when she was a week old, and she would have been 17 years old in April. You learn to live again, but you never get over it. The line that always makes me cry is "I won't completely heal til I go home" because it's true. You're never 100% complete again, kids are a part of you so when you lose one you lose a part of yourself that you don't ever get back.
This song went straight to #1 on I Tunes Blake Shelton is credited for helping it. Blake had a song out going to the top of the charts he made a video he said he was stepping aside for Craigs song and begged everyone to buy Craig's song so they could push it to the top
Thank you for reacting to this. We lost our daughter at 32, she had a 9 year old and a 6 week old. Two years later I lost my husband. This is difficult to hear... but at the same time sometimes comforting to know we'll be together again. ❤️
I lost my son when he was just 21. I know his pain. It’s an effort just to wake up and try to get through the day. My heart goes out to anyone who has ever gone through this horrific tragedy
Fabian Paul Monge 1978-2017 Love you Craig, stay with God he will hold your heart until you find some peace as I did. I’ll be praying for you. thank you Taylor family for playing that song. I had not heard it until now.
Pretty much any live performance of this song takes the emotional impact even higher. He visibly struggles to get through it and doesn’t do it very often.
Almost Home What I Love About Sundays This Ain’t Nothin’ God Must Really Love Me Craig aged a lifetime in the year after the loss of his son. Who wouldn’t?😔 Craig was a career military guy, served his country, a veteran who always continued to show up for the troops. Major respect for the guy❤️
Finally! The most heartfelt song ever! Craig actually said it came to him in a dream and it took him 10 minutes to write. Craig is a decorated soldier and saved a family from their burning house. He is a true blessing!
Amen to that my heart breaks for all those that have lost any children or loved one. Definitely the loss of a child is undescribable and heart-rending. My prayers go out to all of those God Bless y'all. 🙏🙏🙏💔😢😢
He sang this on the Grand Ol Oprey. As he walked off stage Ricky Scaggs was there and told him what a great song and Craig said glad you liked it I'll never sing it again but Ricky said Oh no you have to! It will help so many people. And that's why he does it.
I feel this with every fiber of my being. We lost a daughter and the line about having to somehow find the energy and ambition to even get up out of bed hit so hard. We never know why things happen the way they do but if it had to happen to him, I’m so grateful he could bless us with this song 😢💔
So many good craig morgon songs!!! Almost home, I got you, what I love about Sundays, red neck yacht club. Super underrated artist. Great reaction as always!
My first time hearing Craig Morgan was when I graduated US Army Infantry School in early 2001. Someone in the chain of command was plying “Paradise” by Craig. It’s a song I deeply relate to, having served in the Army, and gives a little glimpse into Craig’s service in the US Army. I, just like him, served in the 82nd Airborne Division. You should give “Paradise” a listen. Cheers!
Every time I hear this song it reminds me to hold close and tell your loved ones how much u love them and to pray for his family and others who have suffered loss like this.
As the father of four and the grandfather of six, I cannot imagine nor do I want to. I cry every time I hear this song; it's so powerful and to think about losing one of my kids or grandkids, it would destroy me!
I’m only a Step Dad and it gets me thinking about losing one of those kids. This is a powerful song and I tip my hat to Craig for having the strength to to this. Love your reactions brother, you have a passion and do a very good job.
I sincerely appreciate your honest and deeply emotional reaction to this amazing song. I have listened to it so many times that I can’t even count. I’m Momma to four sons and Mimi to two grandsons ….. I cry every time I hear this. It took strength beyond measure for him to sing this song. Thank you.
My oldest son died in 2000. He was also 26. It gets better with time, but from time to time it hurts all over again - and this song, especially that last bit, hit hard. Hugs to your niece.
I’m a HUGE country fan and Craig has always been a favorite (his voice, his faith, his military service) and this has to be hands down the most emotional song I have ever heard, the Live version at the grand ole opry will shake you to your core watching him perform it
Highlighted from Canada and I just wanted to say I could tell this was R. Shirley Hart for you, you're a man. And your eyes went red and nobody would have had any problem with a few tears. Men can cry too. Anytime I hear this song and see the pain and emotion in his face in his voice.I cry like you would not believe.Thank you so much for your sensitivity and reacting to the video.God bless
Thank you for your reaction to this song. Have been a subscriber to you for along time. My wife and I lost a son in 2004 from a drunk driver it hit home so thank you. What a beautiful song.
Craig, thank you for your honest reaction. I’ve seen this video more times than I can think of. I’ve not been blessed with children. I have had two miscarriages and I can’t imagine what it must feel like to lose a child. The strength he had to not only write this song, but to sing it so many times just amazes me. God Bless Craig & Karen Morgan!!!
Had this played at my oldest son's funeral, May of last year, and Carrie Underwood's See You Again played at my youngest son's funeral in October of 2012. I cry every time I hear either of these two songs. Thank you for such a heartfelt reaction.
You show compassion and empathy, and that means a lot. I lost my daughter when she was 2 months old, from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). She was 'perfect,' but she was gone. I seriously considered suicide, but finally decided that my husband and 2 year old son needed me. Our son is our joy and we're very close as adults now. The hurt never leaves, but you learn to live with the hole in your heart. A lot of people relate to this, sad to say. I admire his strength, his generosity to share, and his incredible voice. Thanks to YOU for reacting to it.
My greatest fear in life is to lose one of my four children or one of my six grandbabies. I can't imagine carrying on. Such a brave man to sing about it. Craig to be on-line and react, you did so well. Great song. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
One of the most heart-wrenching songs ever written. As a mother and grandmother I can't imagine anything worse than losing a child. I have never seen or heard a song that conveyed so much pain & grief. Craig sang this song for the first time on the Grand Ole Opry stage. He later said in interviews the song came to him in a dream & could only have been through "divine inspiration" and that “God used me to write that song". When he stepped off the stage he knew that he would never sing the song again as it would be too painful. However, he didn't anticipate his friend, country singer Ricky Skaggs, telling him “You have to sing this song for the rest of your life. Craig came to realize how powerful the song was in helping others come to terms with the loss of a loved one, just as it had been for him I thank Craig for sharing this powerful song with us. It has brought such comfort to so many people. RIP Jerry and God Bless the Morgan family.
Heart breaking song. Craig has many songs out but my favorite is “International Harvester”. This song is more upbeat and really fun to watch the video. This song will definitely put a smile on your face.
😪😪😪😪 I sit here alone at 2am with tears down my face, such a heartbreaking song , how brave of him to get through it ! Thank u Craig for reacting to this song with such real emotions which all of us parents would never want to feel.
This is always a rough one for me. This man has some great songs. Love his tracks "This Ain't Nothing" "Almost Home", "That's What I Love About Sundays" and "Redneck Yacht Club".
Amazing song, amazing gentlemen going through the worst time of his life. Mr Morgan is a true hero ! He served in the US Army for years before starting his music career. No parent should ever have to bury a child! Thank you Craig for reacting to this emotional beautiful performance! God bless you and sending love from South Georgia USA!❤️🍟
I totally agree with you, i had to stop the song and find out what happen to his son😭😭and thanks so much for shearing this and hugs to all that this is happen to 🫂💞💞
I have listened to this song hundreds of times and it never fails to bring me to tears. Craig Morgan is one of my favorites of all times and I can't think of a song that isn't good. This Ain't Nothing is another one of his songs that hits you in 'The Feels'
This song brings tears every single time. I heard him sing it live a few years ago, so emotional. As others suggested, That's What I Love About Sundays is great, and My International Harvester is a fun attitude song that makes you smile and shows his fun side.
This song has helped me after losing my daughter to breast cancer she was 50, a month later our youngest daughter lost her 13 gear old daughter to leukemia 😢❤ our hearts did feel like they had been ripped from our chests😢😢❤❤.Thank you Craig Morgan for being so brave to sing this song , it really gives me hope that we will be with them again!!❤❤
Not only did he write it,he sung it for the first time on the Grand Old Opry and when he walked off the stage he told them that he hoped they enjoyed it because he couldn't do it again, But his Best Friend Garth Brooks talked him into recording it,he told him that the world had to he it,it was to beautiful to keep hidden, Praise God 👏 He let us feel his heart ❤️ Thank You for your reaction hope you and your family have a Blessed day 🙏
@patcharleville6806 Thank you for your input, Ricky or Garth, it don't matter their good friends and I'm thankful and honored that he did, it's helped me alot 😊 Thank you for your reply 😊 hope you have a blessed day 🙏 sending love from Lafayette Georgia 🍑
When I watch this video or the one from the Opry, I see the same thing as I saw week before last when I saw Autumn Nelon Streetman stand up with the Isaacs and sing in the memorial service for her parents and her sister. I see the grace of God at the pinnacle of its power. God bless all the families of this world who are presently grieving such a loss. You do a wonderful job, sir, and you’re a joy to watch.❤
Also you should check out his interview on the Kelly Clarkson show. It talks about how Blake Shelton helped push this song to number one on the country charts. He and Blake are good friends and Blake tragically lost a brother so he relates to this song.
I'm a father of five and I tell you that if I was to loose any one of them would be the death of me I just think I would be able to get over it and just want to die.😢😢😢
War is the ultimate act of violence not of our own choosing, it's usually thrust upon us with only a few ways out for those who know the pain I hope you heal for those who don't I pray you never will ❤rest in peace ❤ know matter your country ❤
Beautiful reaction, thank you for sharing your emotions on this one. Please check out International Harvester, it is one of his earlier songs and is just plain fun.
I give him nothing but Respect 🙏 just to have strength to do it,I love Craig Morgan, he's gotta s Another of good music 🎶 Thanks for your reaction, hope you and your family have a blessed evening 🙏
I watched a couple reactions to Craig's song and was surprised by the emotionless responses! So relieved to see a man truly connect to it! I lost my 18yr old son from an undetected medical condition only 11 days later. My only child. Someday we will be together forever
Thank you so much. I so appreciate the fact that you took the time to get the info on how this song came to be & why so powerful & emotional. Sadly, others in your profession didn't. I knew about his son's & I always tear up big time when I watch/listen to this; especially hits hard toward the end. However, you had me crying from beginning right along with you. I can tell you understand & empathize. I agree, I have 1 child, a son (30 yr next week) and I doubt I could live another day if something happened to him. And as for suggestions, check out Craig's " Almost Home" song. You will like that one too. Thanks again
He sang this as the CMAs and said he would never sing it again. He has other touching songs, one being This Ain't Nothin'. You also need to check out James Blunt Monsters.
This song hit me and my best friends dad so hard.. We lost my best friend Kyle in a dirt bike accident last year. This hit both of us so close to home when we listened to this.
Always an incredibly hard song for me to listen to! It’s the realest expression of immense grief that I have ever heard! Thank you for your respectful reaction!
He said in an interview he woke up in the middle of the night and the Lord wrote the song for him. Took him about an hour to write it. His good friend Blake Shelton also removed all his songs from the radio to help Craig get to number 1. All of his songs are amazing If you haven't checked them out.
Speechless…cuz I know how he feels, lost my son to a house fire last year 😢 I really feel the same way he does, just glad he put it into a song ! Great reaction 🎉
This song is nothing but the truth. I've lost a daughter and a son. God and praying is the only way I've made it. He picked me up off the floor and is still carrying me. I won't be healed until I hold my children again.
I pray God continues to give you strength.🙏🙏 I know there's nothing I could say that would help ease your sorrow. Know that you're in my prayers honey. Please take care of yourself as well as you can God Bless You.”
I'm not a parent and I can not fathom the devastation to your heart and soul to lose a child. I'm guessing that writing this was beyond hard but maybe it gave him a sliver of relief to share a piece of his son with the world. Thoughts of love to anyone who has experienced this.
Craig, this is so sad but so beautiful! I don't know how he got through this. There's another recent song I'd love for you to react to. You liked Montgomer-Gentry. Eddie Montgomery has a fairly new & beautiful song, "My Son", but it's not a tearjerker. Eddie has lost two sons & his other half of Montgomery-Gentry & best life long friend, Troy Gentry, a few years ago in a helicopter crash. My son is their sound engineer, but he wasn't with them when the crash happened & I'm so thankful he wasn't because he & Troy used to ride their Harleys together.
You are such a lovely man. You have so much empathy for others, & it really shows. I enjoy your perspectives & thanks to you & your lovely family for sharing a little bit of your/their time connecting with complete strangers through the international language/emotions of great music
Craig is one of my favorite reactors . He is genuinely a sweet loving man of God.❤
Your children think we give them strength. Most don't know, until they have kids, how much strength they give us. To lose a child is like losing part of your heart and soul.
you cant help but to cry on this song
You can see at the end he is crying. Heart breaking
There is never the expectation that Craig sings this. There are days he does at the end of his concerts but most times, he is honest that it would destroy him to sing it. He is a great artist.. and so many you should hear.
Hats off to Craig Morgan, one of a kind Man.
The one he sings at the Opry really shows the pain this man is in and you can hear the tears in his voice
First time he sang this song in public. The best version by far.
He actually performed this live on the Grand Old Opry. I can't imagine how he got through it.
He came off the stage that night and said he’d never perform it again. Ricky Skaggs and a few others told him he needed too to help everybody going through a similar experience.
It touches the soul. You're a dear man.

I totally agree. Thank you sir, for your real, honest, and raw reactions. Your choices in songs are most excellent as well.
Craig is an Afghan Veteran. A deep dive into his work is a must!
Thank you for learning the background.
When you hear him sing it and you know he means it and have children it hit you right where you hurt
Oh God Amen to that. My love and prayers to all those that have lost their child. 🙏🙏🙏😢😢
Craig Morgan is one of my favorite artists and an underrated one. This song hits you right in the heart with emotion! Almost Home, This Aint Nothing, and That's What I Love About Sunday are some of his best songs. Thanks for reacting to him!
oh have been waiting for this one!!!
that's beautiful
What A Song Straight From A Broken Heart! WONDERFUL
I lost my first born when she was a week old, and she would have been 17 years old in April. You learn to live again, but you never get over it. The line that always makes me cry is "I won't completely heal til I go home" because it's true. Everything I hear this is cry as I lost your daughter 8yrs ago. I still often wake up crying.
May God bless you and continue giving strength to you honey. 🙏🙏🙏😢
Thank you for reacting to this. We lost our daughter at 32, she had a 9 year old and a 6 week old. Two years later I lost my husband. This is difficult to hear... but at the same time sometimes comforting to know we'll be together again. ❤️

Love you Craig, stay with God he will hold your heart until you find some peace as I did. I’ll be praying for you. thank you Taylor family for playing that song. I had not heard it until now.
Hello Suzanne, how are you doing
where are you from?
Pretty much any live performance of this song takes the emotional impact even higher. He visibly struggles to get through it and doesn’t do it very often.
Wow......Great reaction....prayers for anyone out there that has lost a child.....God bless Craig for helping others to heal......
Such a beautiful song. He wrote this song for his son that passed away

I'm so happy that you are reacting to this. This is so emotional and beautiful. He wrote this after his son was killed in a rafting accident.
You need to watch him perform this live at the opry.
One last suggestion, “That’s what I love about Sundays.” Country story telling at its best!
Finally! The most heartfelt song ever! Craig actually said it came to him in a dream and it took him 10 minutes to write. Craig is a decorated soldier and saved a family from their burning house. He is a true blessing!
Must be so hard to sing but very therapeutic also. Prayers out to all those who have lost a child.

He speaks my heart when I lost my son. Life has never been the same... Parents should never bury their child. Thank you for the heart you show.

I see the grace of God at the pinnacle of its power. God bless all the families of this world who are presently grieving such a loss. You do a wonderful job, sir, and you’re a joy to watch.❤
God bless you and yours
This is such a powerful song. I want to hug him and I tear up every time I hear it. As others have said he's underrated.
You are so compassionate, so honest and real. I love that you are brave enough to shed tears . You are such a lovely man. Thank you for being you❤
Also you should check out his interview on the Kelly Clarkson show.
Thx for the reaction
The live version of him singing this song at the Opry is beautiful. It was the first time he sang it in public.
Beautiful reaction, thank you for sharing your emotions on this one. Please check out International Harvester, it is one of his earlier songs and is just plain fun.
My tears came fast and his pain was so evident. Heartbreaking and healing and for him to share was brave. Thanks for your reaction
I give him nothing but Respect 🙏 just to have strength to do it,I love Craig Morgan, he's gotta s
Another of good music 🎶 Thanks for your reaction, hope you and your family have a blessed evening 🙏
Watching your emotional reactions to some of these songs bring me to tears.
What a lovely, caring, empathetic man you appear to be. Honest review. Great.
Absolutely beautiful and heart felt song he was definitely singing to son
He said in an interview he woke up in the middle of the night and the Lord wrote the song for him. Took him about an hour to write it. His good friend Blake Shelton also removed all his songs from the radio to help Craig get to number 1. All of his songs are amazing If you haven't checked them out.
An incredibly moving song and a nice, honest reaction. I'm not a country music fan but I know pain and passion when I hear it.
And prepared yourself for “Almost home,” since you love the storytelling aspect of country music.
This song gets to me every time. I lost a child years ago and you never really heal.
I lost my son, C.J. (Forever 12) and his “D” day will be in two days. I needed to hear this song and watch your gentle reaction; thank you.
