RonTrez Beaugard yea it’s been f2p for a while, or at least had a f2p option. I was subbed to swtor and WoW back before f2p when I had a lot of free time but now I don’t even have enough time for 1 mmo so I can’t play either of them anymore
Shadow Disciple, Naga Sadow's turban, the Righteous/Dread Harbinger, Zakuulan Inquisitor, Voss Mystic, Martial Pilgrim, Remnant Yavin Inquisitor all are my faves. Some of them aren't exclusively inquisitor, but they fit for anything in between Sith Assassin and Sith Sorceror.
Very good list. I would like to include the Emperor's Mantle Set which I'm wearing on my sorcerer (minus the helmet ^^). I really love the Valkorion feel from that set. ^^ I'm also wearing the Shadow Disciple Set on my Assassin and the Charged Hypercloth Force Expert's Vestments are waiting in my bank in case the Emperor's Mantle feels a little bit to regal for my sorcerer. BTW, your choice for #1 is excellent! I'm saving credits right now to buy the Chaotic Force-Master's Armor Set. That is my #1 desired sets of all times since I saw it for the first time in one of the original images of SWTOR pre-launch! ^^ Keep up the good work!
I have spent hours upon hours looking through the armor section of your website, and to this day I have still been unable to decide on an outfit for my Inquisitor.
I used to have Diabolist on my Sorceror, then by the time he got to KOTFE I got bored of hood and skirt and switched to Malak's Shadow armor. It's a good match (he's Rattataki) and jaw piece makes nice unique voice distortion :)
Anointed Zeyd-Cloth is my favorite, take the inquisitor Renown ( 1:24 ) and add matching shoulders (except for the head piece; replace it with most any headband looking piece and you can't go wrong).
My personal fav set as a Sith Sorcerer is to use the Marka Ragnos set, but with Kallig's helm from the story quest. Love the dark robe with silver chains and ornaments, and the helm works well with the storyline :3
The Fallen Defender armour, which you mentioned for the Sith Warrior, works well for the inquisitor too. I dislike the closed helmets. They look cool, but the animation of the facial expressions in this game is very good and adds to the enjoyment of the dialogue. This is particularly true for the female inquisitor if you use the 'happy but utterly insane' dialogue choices.
Damn that Charged Hypercloth armor! I absolutely need to get my synthweaver back up and running for this! I’ve been looking for something to spark a new look for my twilek sorcerer. She’s currently wearing a full sensual dress, but i now am going to plan to mix the sensual dress set with the charged hypercloth, to keep the sensuality of the twilek race, while enforcing the sith inquisitor vibe that i think the hypercloth set can provide :) Thank you very much for making this series, as well as all the content here on the channel. I have so much more to look forward to everytime I login. :)

My favorite is the Charged(?) Interrogator (the orange glowy one) paired with the Dark Praetorian Helmet. It sounds and looks amazing for an Inquisitor

One of the things I loved about this game is how customizable it is and the variety of design that you can choose from. Almost makes me wanna play it again
Since you can use just about anything for costumes, and adaptive obviously, I like using the recluse armor with one of the revanite helms. I think it's the pursuer? One that uses a red armored hooded jacket and looks kinda rogue like. I also like using heavy armor and using the helmet that looks like kalligs to pretty much remake his image and say "im his descendant." Ghostly magus head piece with generic inquisitor clothes and remake the emperor as seen in the knight story. Also like using the armor that looks like jadus, and again using the revanite helmet. That revanite helmet goes with like anything.
Swtorista I recently realized you can also do this with companion gear too which was kind of odd. You could probably make a togruta Jedi and send asharas armor to them. They opened it up a lot.
I use the Shadow Disciple outfit on my Jedi Knights/Consulars with Darth Sion's belt and used a brown and black dye and in my opinion is the closest you can get to the prequel robes.
One interesting thing: for your #10 one, if you use the cheaper version you get automatically in game, and don’t dye it, you get a great Light Sith look. (Though in my headcanon, my Lightsider got rid of the spaulders and hood because he thought it was too much. Again the idea of “I don’t need armor, I’m that powerful.”)
Awesome vid Swtorista! My Lightning Sorcerer wears the Voss Dignitary outfit (purple dyed), and my Madness Sorc wears the Blade Savant armor. (black and blue dye) My Assassin wears the Tattered Mystic set.

My sorc wears anything depending on my mood. He has all outfit slots stuffed with various outfits and mostly robes. I like the crown across forehead thing on him too. His hair is never ever covered because he has this really luscious hair that must be displayed! He's a fashion victim. My assassin on the other hand only wears Ardent Oracle in pale gray/baby pink and has a pretty pale pink double saber. She rides a Gree bubble mount. She looks so adorable! Dark 5, lol
I believe I’ve had most of them, Sith sorcerer (inquisitor) is probably my longest active favorite class, along with Sith juggernaut, mercenary & sniper.
Just got the Chaotic Force Master Set! After 11 years I have all three sets, and it was thanks to your video that I found out the set is back in the game. So thank you again! :) I'm a little miffed that it doesn't have voice modulation like the other two sets though...
The first concept art for inquisitors came out in 2008 when the game was announced, as it was among the first classes to be revealed and the announcement had concept art for inquisitor armor sets including the Battlemaster and the Mystic one and I got both of those, except the Force Master which was called Centurion back then. That's why I said 11 years because when I saw those armors I always wanted to get them all now I do...
Almost half of these armor sets are ones I've never even heard of before.... I use the Infernal armor set, with Slicer gloves and a ceremonial headress (the one with black feathers), all with a black and red dye. On winter planets I use the White and Red dye. For my Assassin of course. Although, it feels like it only fits the Assassin class...

Revan's armor set from the cartel market is what my Deception assassin wears most of the time. Also, Darth Malgus armor set from Cartel Market is my 2nd favorite.
My Sorcerer has a variation of the Battlemaster Force-Master set that used to be handed out to new PvP players back in the vanilla game, and I love it! I still default to it whenever I get sick of a certain look.
The shadow disciple set holds the top spot for me. Striking the perfect balance, it's neither too extravagant nor too minimalistic, just right in between.
On my first lvl 55 character, who I refuse to level for sentimental reasons. (I'm a founder), I have the Dramasian force experts set with a quest specific head piece reward which no longer exists, and it's the Acolyte head piece but instead of black metal face plate it's a gold faceplate. In cut scenes it makes the swirling patterns and designs in the faceplate really come through much clearer and it also provides the modified voice which I prefer. The set with the helm really looks amazing and due to how thick the hood is - the helmet doesn't clip through. I think the head piece I use is still in the game, it's just no longer a quest reward like it was when I first got it. The helmet is: "Traditional Demicot Headgear" / "Muse Headgear" / "Enshrouding Force Headgear" / "Headgear of Volatile Force" / "Traditional Dramassian Silk Headgear" / "Sacred Dramassian Silk Headgear" Working from memory, I believe the one I got from the quest (and this was year ago), was specifically the "Traditional Dramassian Silk Headgear", and it was a quest reward for a quest on Aladaraan. It was a reward for the end of a very long chain quest about half way through the planet at the second or third quest zone. I haven't played swtor in a while and I don't want to try and open it because it'd be a few hours of updates I'm sure: but I think, to the best of my recollection, I combined the headpiece above, with the end of inquisitor story arc - which is identical to the Dramasian silk, but has deep purple assets instead of red. On later characters I made, after different xpacs to test out class changes: I combined the same hooded chest piece as the Dramasian force expert, with the rest of the armor being the voss dignitary set and then complete with the same gold faceplated helm. The reason being, even when dyed: the voss dignity armor still has small gold assets - which matches really well with the headpiece and looks like a purpose made set with all of that dark overlord master of the darkside feel to it. Very striking, and the cut scenes looked amazing whenever there'd be dialogue in flashpoints and such.
The Adaptive Gear Vendor has many very underrated armor sets. Jedi Stormguard and the Supreme Inquisitor sets are among my favorites. Not to mention the Force Magister and Hydra armor, Sith Avenger, Colossus and Blackguard outfits, they've got outfits for everybody. I even like combining some of them to get unique combinations- a Republic Trooper with a Mandalorian-style jetpack and a dark Jedi who went gray are just too fun.
@@Swtorista And so easy to mod! I have my Jedi Shadow wearing the Shield Warden's set and my Guardian is in the Section Guardian armor. Brad the Jedi Shadow and Jerry the Jedi Guardian, they're really nice guys and have been known to solve the occasional galaxy-wide mystery. And both armor sets come with kama so they match.
I'd recommend checking out the flashpoint vendor on fleet as well. They have sets that go well with the Inquisitor, with details that give a mystic, almost shamanist feel. I've seen similar stuff pop up from command crates as well.
The Flashpoint vendor... is that the one that gives you rewards from the Tython and Korriban flashpoints? If so those were my #1 pick for the Jedi Consular!
@@Swtorista Correct, and yes, it's equally suitable for that class. :) In fact, the only NPC I've seen it on, is the Battlemaster we fight in Assault on Tython, imp side. Seems to be intended as a Jedi outfit, but hey. :)
your Charged hyper cloth force expert, used to be war hero (black and Green) and Elite War hero(black and white) these were designed for PVP and was out in 2012-13
I love your videos!! Thank you... One of my favorite sets is the charged Interrogator armor set. The classic sith inquisitor design.. worn by npc’s throughout the storyline. But the light effects are really cool to me. That set looks incredible with a red/black dye put in. And it is very inexpensive still on the GTN compared to some others.
I've been really enjoying your videos, these videos about SWTOR are really helpful and/or useful. Recently subscribed for this game. I've been really enjoying playing it, since it really makes you feel like you are part of the Star Wars universe. With the story of the game basically revolving around your character. (PS, I've also subscribed to your channel :D)

I love the tidbits of lore you gave for some of the sets! Also I must say, my fantasy set for my Inquisitor would a Dread Master armor set. I'd imagine something like the Chaotic Force-Master along with the Dread Mask would be the closest thing. Also I have a question, back during Shadow of Revan there was this really cool endgame armor you can get from the fleet vendors, I honestly can't recall it's name but I used to geek over that so much and sadly was not able to get it before it was removed. :c
I saw your crafting video with the charged hypercloth force masters set and made it my personal goal to get into crafting and now have crafted it for almost all of my imperial characters especially my healer (although I really want either the dread mystic set or the chaotic force master set
My favourite armour set for my inquisitor is actually the decorated Force Lord mk-2, you can get it relatively early in the game, it looks nice and has some decorations, but also looks very functional, I have been using it on my main ever since I got it on I believe Alderaan heroics around level 28 which was years ago. (note: I do use a different helmet) it isn't the hardest nor the rarest, but I like it
I love that you put my pvp set from vanilla as your number one. I still have that set as well from all that hutball in the begining of the game. I used that armor and the violet crystal you had to water an ice block and kill a force ghost boss for. The good old days. I heard they removed that boss from the game and its not a thing anymore but i still have the patterns for all the violet crystals on my assassin so i'm not sure if thats accurate.
a recommendation I have is to mix and match the dread DVL sets. they all have similar themes so they go well with each other. but they're slightly different. so u can mix and match to get your perfect set. also brings a lot more uniqueness to your set.
Well, something I use for both my Jedi shadow and Sith Sorcerer...the Scion armor set that is accessible through the KOTFE stuff. Honestly think it suits it quite well through the mystic side of things
I know it's not really a inquisitor armor, but I always liked the Saber Marshall armor on my Inquisitor. I also like the Dark Disciple armor from Galactic Command vendor. 😃
I know the old Battlemaster Inquisitor set that looks like it has exposed brain on the back looks really good dyed deep red. Looks like you've done some crazy disfigurement of yourself for the sake of power.
My female sith sorcerer is wearing the Sensuous Dress, which is a bit revealing, but not overtly dancery so, and it looks quite regal as well. I thought it quite fitting for someone who only gets their hands dirty from a distance. My male sith assassin is pretty much wearing just a skirt and bracers, thanks to the invisible items available. :D
I originally mained sorc until I switched to assassin tank and fell in love. However, I personally don’t like the skirt look on my assassin, for whatever reason doesn’t fit like it does on the sorc. I rock the Charged Hypercloth set on my assassin and it’s one of my all time favorite sets, ever. HOWEVER, the headgear in this set doesn’t give the cool voice augmentation like it’s suppose to(guess it’s bugged). The “War Hero Force-Mystic’s Headgear” does give the awesome heavy augmented voice effect.
I'm not wearing a specific set, I found armor that worked with my character and when it became obsolete, I made it into an outfit before selling it, the one piece I kept was Kallig's mask.
I use the Karness Muur set and Phantom Set on my Inquisitor but the chaotic force master is my favorite set of all time by far , unfortunately is way to expensive for me.Good selection of armors .
The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many accessories that some consider to be highly fashionable. I rock the Tulak Horde set on my Inq, with all its shiny evil goodness >:)
Got my assassin the thana vesh outfit. My sorcerer has the Ceremonial mystic set dyed white and i made my char very pale with gray/white hair and white eyes. Her lightsaber has the same colour as the glowy parts from the mystic set. She looks very scary (like some insane frostqueen) haha! I also picked up synthweaving for that hypercloth set and im loving to oricon set too. Guess i have a lot of work! Judging by this vid, i can tell you have great taste "armor-wise" :D
Great video SWTORISTA, I really liked all the different armor but I don't know if my crew from Rogue One would want me wearing that the next time we went out on a mission. I'm trying think if Cassian would like me wearing some of that.
Man, I really wish I had spent more time on my inquisitor closer to launch. There were a bunch of really cool headpieces and armor sets that just aren't available any more, like the set Darth Baras wears and its variants.

ikr, the Inquisitor just doesn't seem to have very many good armour options to look truely baddass imo

One interesting thing: for your #10 one, if you use the cheaper version you get automatically in game, and don’t dye it, you get a great Light Sith look. (Though in my headcanon, my Lightsider got rid of the spaulders and hood because he thought it was too much. Again the idea of “I don’t need armor, I’m that powerful.”)

My sorc wears anything depending on my mood. He has all outfit slots stuffed with various outfits and mostly robes. I like the crown across forehead thing on him too. His hair is never ever covered because he has this really luscious hair that must be displayed! He's a fashion victim. My assassin on the other hand only wears Ardent Oracle in pale gray/baby pink and has a pretty pale pink double saber. She rides a Gree bubble mount. She looks so adorable! Dark 5, lol

11 years? The game came out in 2011.
The first concept art for inquisitors came out in 2008 when the game was announced, as it was among the first classes to be revealed and the announcement had concept art for inquisitor armor sets including the Battlemaster and the Mystic one and I got both of those, except the Force Master which was called Centurion back then. That's why I said 11 years because when I saw those armors I always wanted to get them all now I do...
Almost half of these armor sets are ones I've never even heard of before.... I use the Infernal armor set, with Slicer gloves and a ceremonial headress (the one with black feathers), all with a black and red dye. On winter planets I use the White and Red dye. For my Assassin of course. Although, it feels like it only fits the Assassin class...

Revan's armor set from the cartel market is what my Deception assassin wears most of the time. Also, Darth Malgus armor set from Cartel Market is my 2nd favorite.
I think i'm one of the few who actually liked the Hallod Gothic headpiece. Made my sorcerer look like a kind of space Maleficent

My Sorcerer has a variation of the Battlemaster Force-Master set that used to be handed out to new PvP players back in the vanilla game, and I love it! I still default to it whenever I get sick of a certain look.

Rocked the ceremonial mystic set on my sorcerer forever. Recently got back into the game, might use it again
The shadow disciple set holds the top spot for me. Striking the perfect balance, it's neither too extravagant nor too minimalistic, just right in between.
On my first lvl 55 character, who I refuse to level for sentimental reasons. (I'm a founder), I have the Dramasian force experts set with a quest specific head piece reward which no longer exists, and it's the Acolyte head piece but instead of black metal face plate it's a gold faceplate. In cut scenes it makes the swirling patterns and designs in the faceplate really come through much clearer and it also provides the modified voice which I prefer. The set with the helm really looks amazing and due to how thick the hood is - the helmet doesn't clip through. I think the head piece I use is still in the game, it's just no longer a quest reward like it was when I first got it.
The helmet is: "Traditional Demicot Headgear" / "Muse Headgear" / "Enshrouding Force Headgear" / "Headgear of Volatile Force" / "Traditional Dramassian Silk Headgear" / "Sacred Dramassian Silk Headgear"
Working from memory, I believe the one I got from the quest (and this was year ago), was specifically the "Traditional Dramassian Silk Headgear", and it was a quest reward for a quest on Aladaraan. It was a reward for the end of a very long chain quest about half way through the planet at the second or third quest zone. I haven't played swtor in a while and I don't want to try and open it because it'd be a few hours of updates I'm sure: but I think, to the best of my recollection, I combined the headpiece above, with the end of inquisitor story arc - which is identical to the Dramasian silk, but has deep purple assets instead of red.
On later characters I made, after different xpacs to test out class changes: I combined the same hooded chest piece as the Dramasian force expert, with the rest of the armor being the voss dignitary set and then complete with the same gold faceplated helm. The reason being, even when dyed: the voss dignity armor still has small gold assets - which matches really well with the headpiece and looks like a purpose made set with all of that dark overlord master of the darkside feel to it. Very striking, and the cut scenes looked amazing whenever there'd be dialogue in flashpoints and such.
Xoxaan's set with a red dye for the glove is my outfit on my assassin, absolutely gorgeous armor!
The Adaptive Gear Vendor has many very underrated armor sets. Jedi Stormguard and the Supreme Inquisitor sets are among my favorites. Not to mention the Force Magister and Hydra armor, Sith Avenger, Colossus and Blackguard outfits, they've got outfits for everybody. I even like combining some of them to get unique combinations- a Republic Trooper with a Mandalorian-style jetpack and a dark Jedi who went gray are just too fun.

@@Swtorista And so easy to mod! I have my Jedi Shadow wearing the Shield Warden's set and my Guardian is in the Section Guardian armor. Brad the Jedi Shadow and Jerry the Jedi Guardian, they're really nice guys and have been known to solve the occasional galaxy-wide mystery. And both armor sets come with kama so they match.
I'd recommend checking out the flashpoint vendor on fleet as well. They have sets that go well with the Inquisitor, with details that give a mystic, almost shamanist feel. I've seen similar stuff pop up from command crates as well.
The Flashpoint vendor... is that the one that gives you rewards from the Tython and Korriban flashpoints? If so those were my #1 pick for the Jedi Consular!
@@Swtorista Correct, and yes, it's equally suitable for that class. :) In fact, the only NPC I've seen it on, is the Battlemaster we fight in Assault on Tython, imp side. Seems to be intended as a Jedi outfit, but hey. :)
your Charged hyper cloth force expert, used to be war hero (black and Green) and Elite War hero(black and white) these were designed for PVP and was out in 2012-13

The classic sith inquisitor design.. worn by npc’s throughout the storyline. But the light effects are really cool to me.
That set looks incredible with a red/black dye put in.

The Does seem to have alot of good armour, especially the armor you can get from turning in the alience creates, the armor in that is awesome.

Just about to finish my Sith Inquisitor class story and I realise that I have failed as a Sith fashion icon, time to hit the shops.
I love the tidbits of lore you gave for some of the sets! Also I must say, my fantasy set for my Inquisitor would a Dread Master armor set. I'd imagine something like the Chaotic Force-Master along with the Dread Mask would be the closest thing. Also I have a question, back during Shadow of Revan there was this really cool endgame armor you can get from the fleet vendors, I honestly can't recall it's name but I used to geek over that so much and sadly was not able to get it before it was removed. :c
I saw your crafting video with the charged hypercloth force masters set and made it my personal goal to get into crafting and now have crafted it for almost all of my imperial characters especially my healer (although I really want either the dread mystic set or the chaotic force master set

My favourite armour set for my inquisitor is actually the decorated Force Lord mk-2, you can get it relatively early in the game, it looks nice and has some decorations, but also looks very functional, I have been using it on my main ever since I got it on I believe Alderaan heroics around level 28 which was years ago. (note: I do use a different helmet) it isn't the hardest nor the rarest, but I like it
A lot of the early-level armors are really cool, and they're actually rare because level 70s can't go back and get them :D
Ancient Infernal's is my personal favorite armor set for sith inquisitors. Insidious counselor's armor set also has a nice rule of two era sith vibe.
I love that you put my pvp set from vanilla as your number one. I still have that set as well from all that hutball in the begining of the game. I used that armor and the violet crystal you had to water an ice block and kill a force ghost boss for. The good old days. I heard they removed that boss from the game and its not a thing anymore but i still have the patterns for all the violet crystals on my assassin so i'm not sure if thats accurate.
I heard it's removed too! But I still want to try it one day.
a recommendation I have is to mix and match the dread DVL sets. they all have similar themes so they go well with each other. but they're slightly different. so u can mix and match to get your perfect set. also brings a lot more uniqueness to your set.

Well, something I use for both my Jedi shadow and Sith Sorcerer...the Scion armor set that is accessible through the KOTFE stuff. Honestly think it suits it quite well through the mystic side of things

dread mysitic had the best lighting effect. it looked like coursing energy rather than a flickering hall light.

The Phantom set- The muse - Thana Vesh- The diabalic set with the spikes on the shoulders. Tuloc Horde.
My female sith sorcerer is wearing the Sensuous Dress, which is a bit revealing, but not overtly dancery so, and it looks quite regal as well. I thought it quite fitting for someone who only gets their hands dirty from a distance.
My male sith assassin is pretty much wearing just a skirt and bracers, thanks to the invisible items available. :D
I originally mained sorc until I switched to assassin tank and fell in love. However, I personally don’t like the skirt look on my assassin, for whatever reason doesn’t fit like it does on the sorc. I rock the Charged Hypercloth set on my assassin and it’s one of my all time favorite sets, ever. HOWEVER, the headgear in this set doesn’t give the cool voice augmentation like it’s suppose to(guess it’s bugged). The “War Hero Force-Mystic’s Headgear” does give the awesome heavy augmented voice effect.
I really enjoy using the Sith Cultist set for my SI, it fits perfectly for an SI, also the helmet kinda looks like Darth Vader's helmet, IMO!

A surprise to be sure, but a welcomed one.
I'm not wearing a specific set, I found armor that worked with my character and when it became obsolete, I made it into an outfit before selling it, the one piece I kept was Kallig's mask.
Kalligs is really neat and so lore appropriate!
The Murr talisman was created by Sorzus Syn. She also created other talismans using sith alchemy, including the heart of graush.
I use the Karness Muur set and Phantom Set on my Inquisitor but the chaotic force master is my favorite set of all time by far , unfortunately is way to expensive for me.Good selection of armors .
The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many accessories that some consider to be highly fashionable. I rock the Tulak Horde set on my Inq, with all its shiny evil goodness >:)

Just so you know, you can also gain valor through login rewards. I got 10 full levels of valor from a login reward on a new character.
The Archon armor set from the adaptive armor vender looks good in all black and black dye.
I like using the Visas Mar outfit for my Sorc, also has the KOTOR history.
i love my set of Exar kun armor for my assassin, mostly because he was credited with the creation of the double-bladed light saber.

Got my assassin the thana vesh outfit. My sorcerer has the Ceremonial mystic set dyed white and i made my char very pale with gray/white hair and white eyes. Her lightsaber has the same colour as the glowy parts from the mystic set. She looks very scary (like some insane frostqueen) haha! I also picked up synthweaving for that hypercloth set and im loving to oricon set too. Guess i have a lot of work! Judging by this vid, i can tell you have great taste "armor-wise" :D

Man, I really wish I had spent more time on my inquisitor closer to launch. There were a bunch of really cool headpieces and armor sets that just aren't available any more, like the set Darth Baras wears and its variants.
