Ah the Imperial Agent, my favourite class and the first one I ever hit max level with . Probably the best story class missions in the game. But I have always had problems finding gear that I really liked.
You know that only part for clandestine officer uniform that uses secondary dye color is shoulder rope so you can easily dye it with [White and Red Dye] from security key vendor it's cheaper than [White and White Dye]

Swtorista Hey I have a question. I just completed KOTFE and KOTET expansion, before I started I had my old companions but the story line lock them all away now I can’t access then. Is there a way possible that I can use unlock them and use them again?
Whenever I go for the officer uniform I generally look for the "crystaline targeters" armor set because of the marks on the chest piece. Most officer uniforms only give you the red and blue insignia's but the crystaline targeters set gives you two golden squares along with red and blue, which in my opinion, makes your character look more important
If anyone's wondering, the white Imperial uniform is the Decorated Targeter's set, which you can get from class and planet story quests on Alderaan. Been using it on my Agent quite a bit!
Same.... I went a little cold for a bit but keep getting back into it when i see another SWTOR video... lol yakkety yak reminded me of how much fun it was to hang out with clan mates and made me return recently.
My favorite agent outfit is something I picked up doing class quests; a snazzy, white, officer uniform. Paired with the shiny, black boots and gloves of the Concealed set, it's sharper than most Cartel Market outfits.
I feel like the expert outlaw outfit makes a very good IA outfit especially if you are considered a rouge agent by the end of act 3, gives a very off the book but still is the best of the best look
Once I got the red version of the Remnant Resurrected Agent armour set, it pretty much became glued to my IA. I loved the Imperial badge stamped all over the outfit, very, very cool.
For my agent I went with a Clandestine Officers armour set with and white/yellow dye. It makes an excellent Grand Admiral look. Make your agent a male Chiss, and you’ll have Grand Admiral Thrawn.
@@Swtorista actually, the one shown in the top left there is level 24 heroic loot, "decorated targeter's" set item level 80. @11:28 i got and saved the helmet, chest, gloves, legs.
My operative loves the tunic from the Battle Hardened Apprentice's set. It's got lots of straps, interesting textures, and seems comfortable and practical for field use.
I honestly used an alderaan storyline chestpiece (decorated) for the formal uniform appearance (white and red color naturally) and grabbed one of the microphone earpiece and made a not too bad looking agent. Also used the wasteland scavenger armor for a more armored trenchcoat look.
My imperial Operative is my most favorite character: ranged, knife melee and stealth. They all either hunt me down in warzones, or they lose HAHA. Thanks for this next level info.
There is a new armor with sort of a cloth hanging down in front and back on the chest piece. It looks great on my female operative with a black dye. That and the skirt that goes to only above the ankles piece make a great uniform.
The cool thing about this game is that completing story flashpoints affects the story. People will remember that your character was involved in the death of Malgus
Remnant Dreadguard agent is my absolutely favourite. There used to be an agent armor called Campaign Enforcer Armor (or something like that but it's not available anymore), which is exactly same with different base colours.
On my imperial agent, i use Thana Vesh's armor. Looks really good for an agent in my opinion. But thank you for making me discover some new armors i'll probably use for my agent in the future.
I have CE version of the game so all my agent toons exclusively use the Imperial Trooper armour. Love watching players stop when they pass me by and fawn over my SUPER rare armour.
I started playing my sniper again recently, which was my first ever swtor toon (back at first release), and he's outfitted in the full RD-07A Vendetta set. Perfect for the military sniper playstyle.
Great video! :D The only thing I missed was the Saul Karath armorset at the end. My personal favorite operative combo: Agile reconnaissance with remnant resurrected agent hat as the hood stays on while wearing the hat. A bit of clipping is solved with a dark color dye. Advanced slicer boots contain a knife and pistol (used in cinematics). I like the gloves of the agile reconnaissance too for more assassination potential.
Agreed! Advanced Slicer boots are a must for any agent character. Everything else is dependent on light/dark, male/female, race, and body size. But those boots are a necessity for any level agent.
After seeing this video, I'm actually a little proud of myself. The white imperial armor at the end, I kept it while leveling my character, even though I wasn't that ambitious during my playthrough with her. And yes, you get it at a certain level when making the heroics if I remember correctly.
I have been looking forward to this video! I have found many pieces of world drop armour that fits really well as field armour for the agent, especially on Dromund Kaas and Balmorra there are some great chest pieces and head gear that drop from elites.
Yeah so far I have 3 smuggler sets, 2 trooper sets and 1 warrior set complete. Yesterday I turned in 4 planets worth of those heroic crates and only got stuff I already had. I was so pissed!
For one of my agents, I chose a smugglers outfit, the rational being that intelligence agents want to appear unassuming. My other agent had a Skikaakwan outfit (her cover being a govt. functionary).
Kinda sad Remnant Underworld Agent wasn't mentioned. Getting the jacket was what prompted me to go play Agent after all these years, it just looks so nice and straightforward, and has really nice dye patterns.
RD-07A Vendetta set was a legend at the time when the Cartel Market armors didn't exist. You had to collect it's parts, which dropped random in certain missions. Now you can just buy it for credits from a vendor, what is fine.
My favorite armor for the Imperial Agent is actually the Imperial Battle Ace Pilot Legacy Armor from when the Starfighters expansion dropped. Excluding the Head piece, the rest of the armor really feels like proper armor, while also keeping the Imperial Rank marks on the chest. Personally have it dyed with Black and a variation of Dark Blue that really makes it shine and match my Chiss Female Agent Sniper. The only part of the set I don't like is the head piece, which I switched out for a TD-05A Panther Headgear, which I left in its full black set up. I started my agent around the time of the expansion and I instantly loved how perfect it looked on her so early in the game, so I never changed it.
For my agent I have Makeb Assault Armor + Remnant Resurrected Agent Helmet. It works good for an Elite Imperial Soldier look. They really need to give us more Imperial Trooper like gear. So far there is 3 (with some other sets having a few similar pieces). It took me FOREVER to get the Resurrected Helmet.
No other character uses up the costume slots. The one thing I wish Bioware would get straight is non Force users shouldn't display Force corruption at all. I know we can turn that off in costume visuals but really only the Jedi and Sith characters should show that susceptibility.
For those of you who want to dress as a Sith Trooper, there's a limited editon armor (Shock trooper or something) on the GTN that's VERY EXPENSIVE because you can't get it anywhere else anymore, but it will make you look almost exactly like a regular trooper. OR, you can get Snow trooper gear from Makeb reputation vendor! It will make you look like an elite varient of the imeprial troopers but the colour is white-red instead of black-red.
I find the Iokath reputation armor on the imp side to be a great addition for Imp Agents. it gives a more soldier-y feel to it and really lets you have this dreadful aura of being a death trooper.
The RD-07A Vendetta Set is also one of those set you can get from the command crates it is called the Deadeye Armor set. the set looks about the same with somethings being a little off from one another.
I have idea to create 3th organization - neutral , for example - there is jedi knight, gray knight and sith warrior , Republic capitan, planet partisant and imperial agent
for those that like the TD-07A Scorpion look. there is the "Cademimu" flash point set for snipers called the "Cademimu Sharpshooter" set. Not sure if it still drops in story mode or at all, but I remember farming it on my sniper back in the day, that character still wears it. the black leveling armor (60+ one from the crates) is adaptive or at least you also get it on Bounty hunters, it looks fantastic on a Mercenary too. I wear a white version of number 1, which is your actual number 1 :) it looks great. my operative does have the dark one. my personal faorite for sure is the trench coat from the cademimu flash point. you can even get a sniper rifle thats moddable too. Edit: Tor fashion says you can't get the Cademimu Sharpshooter set anymore, which is sad.
I love how the imp agent can use seduction as a way to get info and to get out of trouble lol also imo the Enigmatic operatives is the best set for imp agent
Yea I just started playing it and I’m loving the story. I initially started with the BH but I’m coming to find out the imperial agent acts the way I would 🤣🤣 I love flirting with everyone lmao
Sticking with Kell Dragon Field Tech armor on my sniper (with Black/Black applied). Always. Regret not being able to get the helmet too back then, so I use the Underworld non-animated version.
My agent is heals, so I got the Enigmatic Operative's set, b/c the coat looked mediciney, but also really 80s (shoulder pads... lawl). Also b/c of the whole Red Blade thing, I dyed it dark red - light red. When I had my character dressed...I had to rename him and change some features. He now has black hair, blue eyes, and very aristocratic face. Named him Liam Isard.
Fun Fact: The Covert Cipher droid is attached to the head slot while the Sith Recluse droid is attached to the chest piece, so it should be entirely possible to have both droids appear whenever your weapon is drawn
Don't underestimate putting together individual pieces. My sniper's favored outfit is as follows: Head: Fortified Lacqerous Headgear (Crafted: Armormech, need to get schematic) Chest: RD-03A Recon Jacket (Hard to get world drop, might come from Hammer Station?) Hands: Resilient Neo-Leather Gloves (Crafted: Armormech, might need schematic) Waist: TD-07A Panther Belt (Fleet vendor) Legs: Sniper Elite Leggings (Crafted: Armormech, need to get schematic) Feet: Trimantium Boots (Crafted: Armormech, need to get schematic) Wrist: TD-07A Panther Bracers (Fleet Vendor) Her favored weapon is the Tarisian Head Hunter Aurek sniper rifle. I don't use any dye modules with this outfit, by using "unify colors" feature, the pants come out white against the dark blue of the jacket. I can link a screen shot, if I can find a place to store it?
i know its not really meant for imperial agents but im currently using the sith cultist armor set for my imperial operative. i love the helmet, the armor padding, the butt cape, and the dark colors make it look perfect for stealth missions :)
Swtorista omg i didnt expect the legend herself to respond to me lol thanks :) while ur here i should say ive been watching various videos of urs for a while now and i really like them and i have a few friends who just started playing swtor and some of ur videos r great for beginners! in other words keep up the great work and may the force be with u!
Swtorista What really got me was the shoulder piece. It screams military officer and Episode 4 Sandtrooper. The cloak is cool and unique but I hope there will be one with just the armor and shoulder piece. The cloak works nicely with my operative.
I'd like to add an honorable mention to the Imp Agent Armor, the Despots Armor set, it has a very cool and sleek design with a mix of armor and fashion. The Helmet is nice, but I prefer without it on, maybe change the helmet with another item like the Green Scanner or eye patch.
@@Swtorista Aww, okay, to each their own! Can't wait for the new top 10 armor sets for Jedi Knights! My best two are the Remnant Underworld Knights though I prefer if the hood was off like the one you get for the Knights of the Fallen Empire. And the chest piece Gilded Tuardium Vest which is fun to combine with other pieces, the "dark knight" set as I like to call it, nice mix of armor and robe.
Thanks for the video! I feel you should’ve added some of the heroic box outfits though considering one of the body suits you mentioned can be obtained from heroic boxes at level 40 or so
Gather 'round. Story time with Uncle Andrew. This story is called "Andrew did nothing wrong but was robbed on GTM when he was buying the Troublemaker trenchcoat even if he could buy the freaking Scorpion version from AG vendor, anyway".
Loved this. I find the imperial uniform the most suitable for the agent class, and I wanted to replicate the look of the imperial uniform in imperial agent progression video. While im waiting for a sale on the clandestine officer set, currently im rocking the Mullinine Onslaught set on my fem sniper, a mix of the mullinine onslaught chest with Canderous Ordo’s set for the slack-ish uniform look on my fem operative, and the Red Blade Set for my male sniper, for that “nougety” lore reason XD
resilient warden armor from the cartel market works great for players who still wanna look covert and stealthy but also look like someone not to trifled with as well
For the white Imperial uniform in the top left, I remember how you get it. I remember getting it for doing the Alderran planet story. It can be a bit of a grind but if you wanna save credits I suggest you just get it from there.
Im using remnant ressurected helmet with my cyborg agent who has cybernatics in form of those round black glasses, it looks absolutely sick, I havent found nice chest to go with it, because I dont have remnant chest, but that helmet + cybernatics look is just awesome
I use the vendetta armor with the boots and belt from the scorpion set on one of my companions ( Ashara Zaveros). The original vendetta boots and belt are too bulky for my liking, and the scorpion boots and belt give the outfit a much sleeker, streamlined look.
Ah yes, the "Remnant Resurrected Agent" set. One day i will get all pieces. I think it looks amazing but it is sooo hard to get. Especially if you don't have all that much time to play and don't want to just do heroics.

Also b/c of the whole Red Blade thing, I dyed it dark red - light red. When I had my character dressed...I had to rename him and change some features. He now has black hair, blue eyes, and very aristocratic face. Named him Liam Isard.
Great video!
For trenchcoats, i like the Troublemaker armor set. You may want to dye it, but its great for Agents and Smugglers, and even Hunters.
Just a PSA: if you want a white imperial uniform, you get one by doing the main quests on Hoth.
My favorite IA armor is the full Aftermath Targeters armor set.
Edit: the stuff you get from Nar Shada
Thank you for the video Swtorista!!
Thank you again for bringing us this great presentation. I really look forward to your videos.
Cheers!
one way to get the white version of the uniform, its the decorated set that you get will doing class and planet missions on alderaan
Fun Fact: The Covert Cipher droid is attached to the head slot while the Sith Recluse droid is attached to the chest piece, so it should be entirely possible to have both droids appear whenever your weapon is drawn
I've been playing hte "how many lasers can I get" game, I think I might try the "how many droids" game soon haha!
Don't underestimate putting together individual pieces. My sniper's favored outfit is as follows:
Head: Fortified Lacqerous Headgear (Crafted: Armormech, need to get schematic)
Chest: RD-03A Recon Jacket (Hard to get world drop, might come from Hammer Station?)
Hands: Resilient Neo-Leather Gloves (Crafted: Armormech, might need schematic)
Waist: TD-07A Panther Belt (Fleet vendor)
Legs: Sniper Elite Leggings (Crafted: Armormech, need to get schematic)
Feet: Trimantium Boots (Crafted: Armormech, need to get schematic)
Wrist: TD-07A Panther Bracers (Fleet Vendor)
Her favored weapon is the Tarisian Head Hunter Aurek sniper rifle.
I don't use any dye modules with this outfit, by using "unify colors" feature, the pants come out white against the dark blue of the jacket.
I can link a screen shot, if I can find a place to store it?
imgur.com is the easiest place to store screenshots :)
Traditional uniform is immortal classic and best choice! For the Empire!
I recently got the covert cipher set on the gtn for 2.5mill and I love it especially for the droid that appears.
i know its not really meant for imperial agents but im currently using the sith cultist armor set for my imperial operative. i love the helmet, the armor padding, the butt cape, and the dark colors make it look perfect for stealth missions :)
nice yeah it's a good fit!
Cheers and thank you! 😁
Two sets are very cool on my opinion: recon spotter set and remnant arkanian armor for agent. Oh, and remnant underworld armor set for agent))
I’d love the Intelligence Officer with the Trenchcoat, but I could use different headgear, like a full helmet.
Tempest Warden. I used it for my operative and also help make uniform combos for my troopers.
I like how unique this armor is.
Swtorista What really got me was the shoulder piece. It screams military officer and Episode 4 Sandtrooper. The cloak is cool and unique but I hope there will be one with just the armor and shoulder piece. The cloak works nicely with my operative.
There’s also a version of that uniform I have on my agent that I got from leveling on kaas back in 2014
I'd like to add an honorable mention to the Imp Agent Armor, the Despots Armor set, it has a very cool and sleek design with a mix of armor and fashion. The Helmet is nice, but I prefer without it on, maybe change the helmet with another item like the Green Scanner or eye patch.
Despots is really nice! It was on my original list but didn't make my personal top ten
I feel you should’ve added some of the heroic box outfits though considering one of the body suits you mentioned can be obtained from heroic boxes at level 40 or so
I avoid anything a new player at level 70 can't get :)
LONG HAVE WE WAITED
Nougety made me laugh really hard once I realized what you meant!
I went for the Enigmatic Operative as well!
I quite like the rugged infantry set (minus the helmet) paired with a black and grey dye module.
Slicer's boots are a necessity for any of my agent characters. The knife and hold-out pistol on the boots just complete any agent ensemble.
Love those boots!!
resilient warden armor from the cartel market works great for players who still wanna look covert and stealthy but also look like someone not to trifled with as well
Great video! I've been debating what race I want my agent to be and seeing some of the armor helps. I'm torn between Chiss and Twi'lek
Chiss is most suited, really enjoyed playing it twilek too!
Bold Hellion is kind of nice too. Makes you look like a combat agent in some movies
That made it high on my smuggler top ten :)
For the white Imperial uniform in the top left, I remember how you get it. I remember getting it for doing the Alderran planet story. It can be a bit of a grind but if you wanna save credits I suggest you just get it from there.
My imperial agent wears the Sith Cultist armor set (without the helmet). It's meant for sith, but without the helmet it looks pretty good on an agent.
Sorry to nitpick but there are 5 Efficiency Scanners. However the Gold one is only available through the Collector's Edition vendor on the Fleet.
Oooo you know what I didn't even know about that one!
@@Swtorista Just subscribed. And yes, I hit the notification bell too!
Looking at this for inspiration for my chiss inquisitor, and the trimantiun onslaught armor is DEAD ON the aesthetic I want
NICE
Im using remnant ressurected helmet with my cyborg agent who has cybernatics in form of those round black glasses, it looks absolutely sick, I havent found nice chest to go with it, because I dont have remnant chest, but that helmet + cybernatics look is just awesome
I use the vendetta armor with the boots and belt from the scorpion set on one of my companions ( Ashara Zaveros). The original vendetta boots and belt are too bulky for my liking, and the scorpion boots and belt give the outfit a much sleeker, streamlined look.
sounds like a good combo!
I'm actually using the White "hard to get" imp armor right now! Anyways great video as per usual! ^^
Nice! Mine's called Plasteel Battle, do you know what yours is?
@@Swtorista I think I have a different one then. Mine is called the "Decorated Targeter's Jacket".
Ah yes, the "Remnant Resurrected Agent" set. One day i will get all pieces. I think it looks amazing but it is sooo hard to get. Especially if you don't have all that much time to play and don't want to just do heroics.
