    I love this series, wish it had been available when building my M96/03 motor up as there's not much info on those vs the 3.4 5 chain motors (the M97 is basically identical internally). Looking forward to the timing episode! Just remember if the tool fits both banks at the same time, you've got it 180˚ wrong :)
    The tensioners are a bit pricey but not insane, $100-$150 ea depending which tensioner. I would consider replacing them, as they do fail (and I don't think they always fail as obviously as the one you mentioned!)

    can i ask a quest, do all of the upgrades you did before can apply to the turbo s in 2003, i saw a 7k boxster in 1998 and thought it was a perfect choice, it got sold and now i want something faster, but im worry about the upgrade as led backlights, heated seat, modern display,... can you answer this by any chance?

      +@krix1733 I’m not sure which upgrades you are referring to, but I really don’t know anything about the 2003 turbo s, so the answer would still be I don’t know 🍻

      @@HelpMeDIY by the way, according to your experience,rebuild the 986 in 1998 engine make it newer, but do we have any things we could to make it safely faster inside the engine

      @@krix1733I didn’t rebuild the 986 engine. I bought one already rebuilt and installed it.
