That song predates RUclips. I remember listening to a bootleg MP3 (or maybe even MP2) over and over during a LAN party before they were a thing. I think it was circa 1997... This song went viral before the word viral was invented! :-)
Though Loituma isn't the original (which I prefer over this). Loituma basically made it have more jazz in it than the original and added parts that were not in the original - again, the jazz is ruining it for me. My mom is deaf-blind but used to tour around Finland, cruise ships and many upon many festivals playing violin the folk-style. They have performed this many times too, but they do the proper, original version.

Though Loituma isn't the original (which I prefer over this). Loituma basically made it have more jazz in it than the original and added parts that were not in the original - again, the jazz is ruining it for me.
My mom is deaf-blind but used to tour around Finland, cruise ships and many upon many festivals playing violin the folk-style. They have performed this many times too, but they do the proper, original version.
