- Is MPC 3.0 coming What about STEMS, & New MPC's. AKAI has made a new MPC every year since 2020 by now they know there software and probably make VST's load but will they. Stems was set for a marc launch but I got calls about a Feb date, i don't know but stem programs are free now but we'll see.

Wished MPC2 had an arrangement view with VST3 support

Well, MPC Stems is supposed to officially launch sometime this month. I just hope WW3 doesn't start before those of us that didn't have early access to it can try and enjoy it.
I'm still amazed and disappointed that a new MPC hardware device was released before stems, native vst3 support or an update to version 3.0 of the software was.
You’re amazed? They are a corporation. They make money by selling things. They made something to sell. What’s amazing about that. Apparently, initial sales were decent. They succeeded.
To your question about why people have multiple MPCs - I started a long time ago on an MPC 1,000 and really liked it but always wanted more features, options, buttons, and knobs. It was a mix between wanting what I thought would help production and workflow, and wanting something that looked dope / wanting what I didn't have. Fast forward to just a couple years ago I grabbed a used MPC Live 2 for a great discounted price from an engineer who really took care of it. And because it was basically all of those things and with the upgraded screen & onboard menu/workflow options I felt like this thing had it all. Then I learned about the MPC X and I was like no this one actually has it all. (Still paying off the MPC X SE). But it's great to have those both in the arsenal because the X basically has to stay at home - it has a bigger footprint than any drum machine I ever had, and it requires electricity, and monitors set up and all. As you know, the live 2 can be mobile with it's battery powered option, and onboard speakers, so it's definitely beneficial to have a live 2 for a more on the go beat calculator, and the X for the at home powerhouse. Sorry for the extra long comment 🤷🏻♂️

@@hazeentertainmenthiphop you may be thinking of the MPC One or the first MPC Live ? The live 2 definitely has battery and can work unplugged for several hours.

Each time I use my Force I get reminded how much better the MPC software can be. I just find the Force too big to bring to small gigs or situations where I'm not sure if I'll be performing or not. If the whole lineup received a software makeover, I would be buying multiple MPC's for different occasions. Currently I just can't properly transfer a Force project to MPC without losing tons of settings.

For Fx i use IK Multimedia Mixbox. You're able to input up too 8 fx plugins. That would be 32 plugins if needed. My only complaint and its not really a complaint. More of a wish, its to be able to arrange in the MPC Software.
Whats up Doc...Its My Belief That An MPC Key 49 IS on The Horizon And If They Do Decide To Put Out An Mini MPC IT Better Be Able Exceed The Roland SP404 MK2...Otherwise Whats The Point...No Need To Do The Same Thing As Roland...Just My Opinion.✌
Sounds like a smart move people like keys and pads on a mpc but I think they have to go small where the SP404 MK2 lives.

Which one is it. Because in most cases for what we looking for in the mpc program 3.0 would have to exist.

No way Maschine is in another level.
@@SampleKingsVideos I have been sequencing maschine software with my MPC 1k and sampling it back into the MPC. Best of both worlds.
I would love to use MPC like a daw, for composing and performing with my guitar.
They really should review how Audio tracks work in the ui.
Audio tracks should be a track type like Drum, Keygroup, Plugin etc. Why is it in a seperate tab? It makes things really confusing especially with the Audio channels showing up on a seperate mixer and pad mute group.
I guess if it ever gets to merge with the Force OS these things may be fixed along with all the cool things that the force has, and MPC is missing..... Macros, Envelope Followers, Extra LFO's, Arranger Timeline, Proper Clip launcher.
Word, I hope they make it a better DAW.
At this stage over 12 months later.. 3.0 is a myth. Akai has it seems the worst programmers ever if they cannot release something a year after it was leaked.
