You made every shot look effortless and enjoyable. That wind would have put my game off, but you just played through like it was a normal day. Would play a round with you any day.
@@kyleklontz3214 I definitely don't hit my clubs at a full speed or full whack. I just let the club do the work, it may mean losing on distance but it makes things more manageable for me
I think you have really nice compact swing! Keep plugging away and you will be scoring much better in no time! Love the golf course! I hope some day I’ll get over there and play some of those courses!
@@michaelh6136 I had a round many years ago. I played a decent front nine, but the pace of play bogged down on the back. I played terribly. I walked up on the 18th tee and laced a 250 yard tee shot. I then hit an 8-iron into the hole for an eagle. I went from being done to "Let's play another 9."
Cheers DropKick! It's definitely the consistency of playing golf regularly that helps! I'm currently down to a 12.7 handicap since this round, trending in the right direction
If you are in southern Ontario and you want a cheap course like this try out Tarandowa east of London just south of the 401. Only difference is lack of water views.
Cheers Luke, genuinely such a privelege to play at a prestigious course like Gullane No.1 Hope you all enjoyed my round, and see what a bang average golfer shoots!
Very nice to watch. I have the exact same HCP and similar distances (my drives and wedges/high irons might be a bit farther, but mid-irons are identical). But its fascinating how the same HCP can come together entirely differently. My shortgame and high irons are pretty solid, but I lose 4-9 balls per round. My whole HCP is essentially just consisting of penalties....
First off, congratulations on reaching 10,000 subscribers. So happy for all of you Up & Downers! Fents really played well and if only half of those short misses went in he would have been in the mid 80's. For a big man he is very agile. He also is really good as a solo to watch. Luke, are we going to see your round there as well?
I enjoyed your round immensely. I'm a wannabe 18 handicapper currently sitting north of 20. You started off really well keep it up see you at your next video.
Would love to golf there (NO WATER). The confidence of hitting a driving knowing the worse case is your in the long grass instead of taking water penalties! Thanks for letting us watch. 20 handicap here. You had some great drives and putting
Congratulations to breaking 90! My aim aswell if not this season then the next 😊 Very nice video! I enjoy following you and Luke alot! Greatings from Helsinki Finland.
Proper, relatable golf for the average player. I play with a social group of mates, mostly ex-rugby players still clinging on to their past glory days. We range from 11 to 30 handicap and play for the fun of it. You'd fit in great with us. Enjoying the good shots and not getting upset at the not so good shots. Golf played in the right spirit.
Thanks Andrew! It's nice to hear what we do is relatable and entertaining at the same time! That's how we want to come across! We also just want to have fun, and enjoy the 4 hours playing golf as much as we can! Thanks again for watching mate!
Price is always a option when playing a lot of courses perhaps you could include what these courses cost or any deals that are available but another great vid and looks like it was a enjoyable round
Yes mate that's really good, a bogey on each hole effectively. Try not to compare yourself or your game to pros in any way. It's almost a completely different sport
A well presented video with easy to take in running commentary keeping the interest through the 18holes at a great location! Played a couple of the numbers at Gullane back in the late nineties and always remember that when the tides out you can view a scuppered U boat from part of the course! Wondering whats the green fee these days!! 😂 Keep em coming!
Just googled that U boat, that’s mad! We didn’t see it. £200+ I think the green fee was for the Gullane 1. The others are cheaper. Thanks for watching!
As a bogey golfer, this was great. I would love to play a round here with him and see how I would do. I have a feeling that I wouldn't compete on some of those long putts.
Great video, a perfect example of a golfer playing to his ability, I think we go out there with a hcp of 18 expecting to play to 8 or 10 and end up not breaking 90. Good stuff , thankyou.⛳️
I usually don't comment.. but good for this fucking guy. This is super great content.. Regular golfers enjoying a good course, this is fantastic. Keep on golfing my man!!!!!

Lovely course. Nice job ! My goal is always to break 90 but I haven't been playing enough the past few years to do it. I like your steadiness and ability to avoid compounding your mistakes. Fun round !😊
thank you for the video, you could be a 12 or less golfer, slow you swing down with clubs you are not comfortable with , and work on your chipping a bit. you way better golfer than you might think.

Just get those doubles down to a single dropped shot and you’re suddenly off 12. Damage limitation is the key. Enjoyed watching this
