Greetings from Texas, where I played 18 today in 100 degree heat! Getting back into the game after roughly 30 years away raising a family. Been playing again a few months, and my current handicap is 27.4. I must say, your contact is more consistent than mine, especially with full swings. Keep up the good work! I’ll be trying to “catch” you! Love listening to your accent and seeing courses in Ireland. We only had a half day there on our only visit and ended up simply spending it in Dublin. Cheers!
Hi Roger, thanks for the really nice message 👍🏻 Maybe I won’t complain about the dreary Irish weather anymore, not sure I could handle playing golf in those temperatures 😂 Great to hear you’re back playing. I can certainly understand the difficulty getting out with family etc. I’ve an 18 month old and it’s only in the last 2 months really that I’ve been able to get back out somewhat regularly. Before that I’d say I played maybe 10 times in 2 years. Keep getting out and I’m sure you’ll catch me in no time 😂 And if you make it back to Ireland, let me know ☘️ Thanks for supporting the channel and hopefully I see your name pop up under future videos 😀 Jamie
Hi Greg, that’s great to hear and delighted you found my channel 😀 I already have the next one filmed and im working my way through the edit so hopefully it won’t be too long. Unfortunately don’t have any Australian courses on the channel just yet but maybe one day 😃
Thanks Richard. The channel would be pretty pointless without returning viewers and people engaging with it so I genuinely really appreciate that you watch the videos 👍🏻
i think i am part of your union :) another good video, great that you are playing with players you dont know, building your own playing family, nice touch, another nice looking course.
Well it’s good to have you as part of our Union Lee, there’s loads of us in here 😂 Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yes it’s actually been really good for me to meet new people to play golf with through this video. Both lads so far have been really sound and I’ve stayed in contact with them both. In fact, Colin actually lives reasonable close by and we’ve met up for a good few rounds since 👍🏻
This is so relatable, some really good shots followed by some very indifferent shots and a few weak putts for par. Only found this channel by chance, already subscribed and on my second video, I can't wait to wa5ch more. Also floating between 26 and 24 hdcp.
Glad you’ve found the channel and are enjoying the content Michael 👍🏻 Thanks for the sub, much appreciated. Currently editing the next episode so hopefully you won’t have to wait too long 👍🏻
Another great video Jamie, good to see the handicap falling , aim for 20 by the end of the year , won't be easy but will keep you interested in rounds when you're not having your best day , damage limitation can be a good tool to have when you're trying to get handicap down
Thanks Darren. Sub 20 is genuinely my only goal in golf, other than having fun every time I step foot on a golf course, but that goes without saying. WHEN I get to Sub 20 I’ll reassess my goals but its honestly all I think about 😂
Nice one - I find using a Hybrid (putter grip) for some of those long putts from the rougher areas found around the second cut of the green is usually pretty effective. More so than when I use my putter.
Great looking course and well maintained. Not a puff of wind and its high. Your putting is a high level, pity about the missed hits, just breathe and take your time, you seemed hurried, that provokes errors. Well played .
Thanks Oliver, overall I would say my putting is the strongest part of my game (not hard says you 😂). I obviously have off days but I think more often not it saves me more strokes than it adds. Yeah I really do play very quick. I think I analyse the shots beforehand really well and work out the best course of action but once I decide on a shot I tend to go from practice swing to actual swing very quickly. I’m not sure why but I absolutely hate the feeling of standing over a ball for more than a couple of seconds, not sure why 🤷🏻♂️ But I find with golf, everything just comes down to practice and experience so hopefully I’ll get better at being a bit more patient over the ball 👍🏻
Great job Jamie! I had got to the same handicap as you but you are flying down! I've just got to 27.7 and the next big 'lurch' down is coming, I know it! I'd much rather watch your round than the pros, because I can see my game is so similar to yours, and being an objective viewer, can see where I can save shots if that makes sense! Loving the series, keep it up!
Cheers mate, much appreciated. The last couple of months have been the first time in the last couple of years that’s I’ve been able to get out reasonably regularly, and I think that’s showing. My rounds have been steadily improving. I’m just slightly worried that I might run out of time before I can get it to Sub 20 but we’ll definitely have a right good go with the time left 💪🏻 Best of luck with your own game. I too feel that big lurch is coming for you 😃 And thanks for the really nice comment mate, was a pleasure to read. Delighted to hear you like the content so much 👍🏻

@DiaryofaHighHandicapper I hadn't, was actually meant to watch the video last night but got tied up at home haha. As long as we keep outta those 20's we're doin alright 👍🏼
Nice to see you're heading in the right direction. As with all us high handicappers, we can see lots of shots which cost us. 36 points is a cracking result, but the pin position on the 12th looked brutal. I had to take a couple of weeks off from playing as my ability to hit the ball completely deserted me. It's slowly coming back and we have a big charity competition on Friday. Will I be able to hit the ball or not...?.. Fingers crossed... Good luck Jamie in your handicap quest.
Thanks Tom, feels good to be seeing some progress. The last two months is the first time in a couple of years I’ve been able to play somewhat regularly so I think that’s helping. Sorry to hear that mate. As I mentioned at the the start of this video, my three previous rounds, the highest score was 26 points 🤯 Just couldn’t hit my driver or get off the tee. It’s a horrible feeling. Then all of a sudden it just disappeared and I could somehow play golf again. Mad game. Best of luck with the round on Friday 👍🏻
Have a look at the Cleveland hi wood. A combination of a hybrid and fairway wood. Extend your hybrids down to a seven and add a chipper. You will be surprised at how easy golf can be. My handicap has reduced from 34 to 30 in 6 weeks once I swallowed my pride and adop t ed the easy to hit clubs. incidentally your videos are an inspiration
Hi Stephen, firstly thanks so much for the massive compliment. Delighted to hear you’re enjoying the channel so much 👍🏻 And thanks for the advice. I actually haven’t added any clubs to my bag in a couple of years so I really need to upgrade it. Definitely interested in adding some woods and more hybrids. I must admit though that chipping is one of my favourite parts of the game to practice. Could stand on a chipping green for hours. Not that it always shows 😂
Hi Peter, I don’t think the video does it justice of just how tight it is particularly the front 9. Particular 4-8. You have to be able to fit the ball so straight. Back 9 opens up a good bit so a nice mix.
Yeah the greens are quite slow to be fair. I think you have to take the course with a pinch of salt. It clearly has a cash problem with little to no investment or funding but it’s priced accordingly and provides for a very enjoyable round of golf in my opinion. I’d never suggest it competes with the better courses around it but it deserves more visitors for the price and what’s on offer 👍🏻
Your putting skills are great and at times impressive.👍 But a question, have you ever thought about a 60°? I've watched 2 of your videos now and seen various ball positions where you've used your 52° with less convincing results, where a lw might give you a better chance by playing high to the green/flag and the ball coming to stop quicker. But what I like best of all is the information you share about the holes, the points scored and which clubs you use. It immediately makes everything much more relaxed to follow. Salutations des Caraïbes françaises ...🙂
Thank you. I do own a 58 degree however I struggle with it from time to time. So trying to gain a bit more confidence in my chipping before I go back to it 👍🏻 And thank you for the kind words. It’s nice to know the information provided is useful and appreciated Greetings from Ireland 👋🏼☘️
Nice video! Seems like a nice course with good scenery. You should probably work on your backswing a bit. You are way to narrow and trail arm stucked behind you in the backswing. You want the arms infront of you with width. I think that's why you have such inconsistent swing path with both pulls and pushes. It's proably also why you dont hit down enough to take divots because your arc is too around yourself and not down on the ball (if that makes sense. English is not my first language). Your putting is good enough though so you will probably be able to lower your hcp in no time! Good luck and keep on grinding this beautiful sport called golf.
Hi mate, thanks for watching and leaving a helpful comment 👍🏻 That does make sense. I can see that my swing is very flat however despite being able to visually see this, I’ve found it really challenging to get a more vertical backswing. I just couldn’t work out how to do this correctly while still striking the ball well. However, I recently enlisted the services of a friend of mine who’s a great iron player and I THINK Ive finally figured it out and my backswing is in a much better place. Im actually filming a round tomorrow so fingers crossed im able to incorporate what I’ve learned. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Hi Michael, it’s called Stableford, the predominant scoring system used here in Ireland and the UK, and most of Europe I believe. Standard scoring system is; 1 Point for a Bogey 2 Points for a Par 3 Points for a Birdie and so on However, it obviously takes into account the stroke index and your handicap. So for instance, in this video I have a handicap of 24. That means I have one additional shot on every hole and 2 shots on stroke indices 1-6. So a bogey on holes 7-18 is worth 2 points whereas on holes 1-6 it’s worth three points. Does that make sense?
Yeah it was a pretty stunning evening and the views were amazing. I was practicing out the back garden into a net. I have pretty thin fake grass on concrete and the club head just broke off from the impact
Thanks Mark. I’m a still a little bit wayward and got penalised on a tight course (mainly the front 9). Overall I feel like my game is improving. Have been working on my chipping recently and gotten quite good so hopefully will be able to deliver that in the next video 👍🏻
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapper good luck pal, keep working hard and it will come . Fairways and keeping it in play are key , should play 18 holes with only irons , I done it a few weeks ago , my best round of the year, didn’t lose one ball .
I am a high handicapper played roundwood a few times played exactly like you I think we have to take one club higher than we need e.g. 7 instead 8 especially on those holes like over the water better to be sure than sorry
Thanks mate, much appreciated. I hope it doesn’t come across that I’m being hard on myself because I’m genuinely not. I really enjoyed this round and was very happy with my score. I don’t get annoyed at golf at all anymore 👍🏻
Great video Jamie. What app are you using to track your handicap? Also, you mention that Stableford is used to calculate handicap? But isn’t your handicap used by Stableford just for the scoring? How do you take that score to calculate your handicap?
Thanks Paul. Glad you enjoyed it. We use the Golf Ireland app. You can see how it looks at 29:40 in the video. In Ireland, you have to be a member of a golf club to have a handicap and the system is managed by golf Ireland. Every player in Ireland will use the same app. Stableford is used to calculate our handicaps in that it is used in about 99% of all competitions here. For handicap purposes, the most you can score on a hole is a net double, which is the same as in Stableford. The official algorithm for calculating the score difference for a round is below: Handicap differential = (Adjusted Gross Score-rating of the course) X 113 / Course slope ratings But that’s a little bit more complicated to work out. I just work off the rule of thumb that if I shoot better than 36 I’m improving my handicap, below 36 it’s worsening 👍🏻
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapperah I see. So you are using the Stableford system to give you a gauge how you’re doing in a round. Makes sense. Love the videos. Keep it up.
Sorry Jamie can you please explain your scoring method, I am confused. Our tournaments are all 36 and we get 2 points for birdies and pars. 1 point for bogey and no points for double.
Hi Michael, It’s the Stableford system. Standard net scoring is as follows: O - Double Bogey or worse 1 - Bogey 2 - Par 3 - Birdie And so on! But it uses it your handicap and the Shot Index to calculate your score. For example, in this video I had 24 shots. So on SI 7 - 18 I had one shot whereas in 1 - 6 I had two shots. On 7 - 18 a Par 4 essentially becomes a Par 5 and on 1 - 6 it becomes a Par 6. So if I shoot a bogey 5 on 7 - 18 it is 2 points whereas if I shoot it on 1 - 6 it is 3 points. Hope that makes sense. It’s not as complicated as it sounds once you play it a few times.
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapper Would it not be easier for example, your handicap is 18 and you are playing on a par 72 course. You shoot 90 minus your handicap 18, so your net score is 72. Is there something else I am not seeing?
I think you’re missing the fact that it’s the approved scoring system here in Ireland 😀 99% of competitions are Stableford and it’s officially how handicaps are calculated. Hence why I use it. To me it also just happens to be the best system. It allows you to pick up your ball if a holes not going well ensuring you don’t blow a scorecard and ensures a decent pace of play. Also means you can play holes strategically depending on whether you have 1 or 2 extra shots (or 0 as some people have off handicaps of 17 or lower) 👍🏻
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapper Thank you. Yes I don't really know the system. Played a tournament a few months ago and won the flight C but I was not really playing well. My caddy told me that the two birdies I got won me the flight. Don't even know what the points were.
Hi Michael, I think it has really struggled since the recession and through Covid. It is a small family run course and they look after all maintenance. It obviously has a bit of a funding/investment issue and it lacks a few facilities such as practice areas. It has a fine big clubhouse that is unfinished which is a real pity. Location wise it is up against some stiff competition from more premium courses. But it is a very budget friendly course and for me the value for money is phenomenal. Definitely deserves more members/visitors 👍🏻
Yeah I do feel like I had some particularly tricky lies and the rough was quite grabby but I certainly could’ve saved strokes here. Also, I did lose 6 penalty strokes so could have potentially saved shots there 👍🏻 I’ve been working on my chipping loads recently and my most recent round my chipping was on fire so hoping that will come across in my next video 👍🏻
@@kenirving5240 unless there’s a red or yellow stake you can’t. It’s deemed a lost ball and you must replay the shot from where you last hit. But yes if there’s stakes I’m aware of the options and tend to weigh them up during a round 👍🏻
Hi Jesse, It’s the Stableford system. Standard net scoring is as follows: 0 - Double Bogey or worse 1 - Bogey 2 - Par 3 - Birdie And so on! But it uses it your handicap and the Shot Index to calculate your score. For example, in this video I had 24 shots. So on SI 7 - 18 I had one shot whereas on 1 - 6 I had two shots. On 7 - 18 a Par 4 essentially becomes a Par 5 and on 1 - 6 it becomes a Par 6. So if I was to shoot a 5 on a Par 4 on 7 - 18 it would be worth 2 points (as it’s a net par) whereas if I shoot a 5 on a Par 4 on 1 - 6 it is worth three points (as it’s a net birdie). 36 points is considered break even and means you equalled your handicap. Anything above it means you outperformed and anything below it you underperformed Hope that makes sense. It’s not as complicated as it sounds once you play it a few times.
Penalties killed you there. A couple of pieces of bad luck too. That rough near the greens looked really penal and made chipping really difficult so I wouldn’t be too critical of the chipping as the ball was sitting right down. Putting was really solid especially from within 5-6 feet.
Yeah, front 9 is very tight to be fair and that tee shot on 13 is tough for any golfer but you gotta keep it in okay regardless. And yeah well spotted regarding the tough. It really is very penal. Deep and very grabby. Hit some good chip shots and hit some poor ones. But I’m confident I’m improving in this area. And I also thought my putting was very sting bar one or two mistakes 👍🏻
I played golf once or twice with friends. We thought we were just knocking about for a laugh Not even a full set of clubs, but we were as good as this guy. 90 was what we used to aim for. I may take it up
It is indeed. I think it really struggled after the recession and then subsequently through Covid. It probably lacks a little in terms of facilities but the course itself is absolutely superb and deserves more members. I’ve played it three more times since I filmed this video, I love it that much.
Cheers 👍🏻 We’ll have to agree to disagree on Roundwood so 😂 I actually love it. I’ve gone back and played it three times since this was filmed. Cheap as chips, barely a sinner on the course and genuinely some of the best views I’ve seen on any course. It obviously doesn’t compare to the top courses around it but in terms of the price, it’s hard bet!
Absolutely. You have to take it with a pinch of salt. It’s a little bit more rough and ready compared to well invested courses but I think it’s priced accordingly and has a lot of charm once you familiarise yourself with the layout. I genuinely feel sad that it gets so few visitors because it deserves to be played more. But as a beginner golfer it’s an absolute dream. You virtually have the course to yourself, you have your pick of Saturday and Sunday tee times and will cost you nothing
Just played my first round in 10-12 years this weekend. A quite ambitious goal was to play some what close to my old handicap. More realistic just happy to hit some fairways and greens. Turns out I starter with a par and then a birdie on the first two holes 😂 Landed on 17p first nine holes. Last nine definitely showed some lack of fitness and stamina so ended up with a total of 28 p. Ended on a par that should have been a birdie on 18th. But not to shabby I'd say with my 20,8 hcp. 🏌️
I honestly think it’s like riding a bike mate. I’ve played with loads of people who played it as a kid, stopped for about 20 years and were just returning to it and honestly 99% of them it’s like they’ve never stepped foot off a golf course. I don’t think it ever leaves you if you played as a kid. Well done on your performance though. Definitely enough good holes there to get the bug back and a great score in the front 9 👏🏼 Keep it up 👍🏻
Well it didn’t sound like you were letting me know to be fair 😂 I’m just surprised that someone who seems so concerned with wasting time would actually waste further time by leaving a comment that makes absolutely no difference to anyone. You watched two shots and have decided this channel is not for you, that’s completely fine. There’s absolutely LOADS of scratch golfers on RUclips, just go watch their stuff 👍🏻

Hi Peter, I don’t think the video does it justice of just how tight it is particularly the front 9. Particular 4-8. You have to be able to fit the ball so straight.
Back 9 opens up a good bit so a nice mix.
Great video Jamie. It is a lovely course but the greens let it down big time
Yeah the greens are quite slow to be fair.
Well played, tougher course than Blainroe. H/C is coming down very low duff count
Cheers mate, slowly but surely 📉 A deceptively tough course but think I did well 👍🏻
Your putting skills are great and at times impressive.👍 But a question, have you ever thought about a 60°? I've watched 2 of your videos now and seen various ball positions where you've used your 52° with less convincing results, where a lw might give you a better chance by playing high to the green/flag and the ball coming to stop quicker.
But what I like best of all is the information you share about the holes, the points scored and which clubs you use. It immediately makes everything much more relaxed to follow.
Salutations des Caraïbes françaises ...🙂
Thank you. I do own a 58 degree however I struggle with it from time to time. So trying to gain a bit more confidence in my chipping before I go back to it 👍🏻
And thank you for the kind words. It’s nice to know the information provided is useful and appreciated
Greetings from Ireland 👋🏼☘️
You are so fun to watch! I'd invite you to play a round at my club but you'd have to travel to the Netherlands for that..
Thanks Roy, let’s not rule it out just yet 😀 I’d love to take my subscriber series international 🌍
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapper hahaha that would be great!! Well it's a standing invitation👍
Much appreciated 👍🏻
i would invite you also, if your ever in the philippines let me know jamie, i would say we are at the same level
This is great 😀 Now I have invites to the Netherlands, Philippines, Indonesia, Scotland, The US…. Gonna have to start planning the World Tour 🌍😂
Hi mate, thanks for watching and leaving a helpful comment 👍🏻
That does make sense.
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
could you explain the scoring system you are using? Why 2 points here or 1 point there? great video.
Hi Michael, it’s called Stableford, the predominant scoring system used here in Ireland and the UK, and most of Europe I believe.
Standard scoring system is;
1 Point for a Bogey
2 Points for a Par
3 Points for a Birdie and so on
However, it obviously takes into account the stroke index and your handicap. So for instance, in this video I have a handicap of 24. That means I have one additional shot on every hole and 2 shots on stroke indices 1-6.
So a bogey on holes 7-18 is worth 2 points whereas on holes 1-6 it’s worth three points.
Does that make sense?
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapper yes thanks so much!
No problem
Can't beat playing into that sunset 👌how did you break your 7 iron?
Yeah it was a pretty stunning evening and the views were amazing. I was practicing out the back garden into a net. I have pretty thin fake grass on concrete and the club head just broke off from the impact
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapper lol, probably lucky the head didn't fly through the window
It was more the neighbours window at risk but thankfully the net isn’t just good for catching golf balls 😂
25.2 here when do I get my membership card?
Hi Mark, just need to do a bit of due diligence first.
Can you confirm that you once shot 120+ and have lost more than 12 balls in a single round?
Yup Da G!
😀👍🏻
Some great golf in places, few bits to work on , penalty shots killed you , but good to see you playing
I’d genuinely lose more balls with my irons than I would my driver or hybrid. All the more reason to practice with them I suppose 😂
I am a high handicapper played roundwood a few times played exactly like you I think we have to take one club higher than we need e.g. 7 instead 8 especially on those holes like over the water better to be sure than sorry
I don’t think any club was getting over that water given how heavy I hit it 😂
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Nice round on a beautiful course, don't be too hard on yourself; you're not a pro !!!
The official algorithm for calculating the score difference for a round is below:
Handicap differential = (Adjusted Gross Score-rating of the course) X 113 / Course slope ratings
But that’s a little bit more complicated to work out.
Keep it up.
Thanks Paul 👍🏻
Sorry Jamie can you please explain your scoring method, I am confused. Our tournaments are all 36 and we get 2 points for birdies and pars. 1 point for bogey and no points for double.
Hi Michael,
It’s the Stableford system. Standard net scoring is as follows:
O - Double Bogey or worse
1 - Bogey
2 - Par
3 - Birdie
And so on!
I think you’re missing the fact that it’s the approved scoring system here in Ireland 😀
99% of competitions are Stableford and it’s officially how handicaps are calculated.
Congrats on the win. Two birdies in one round is always impressive. I’ve only done it twice but I still remember the disbelief both times 😂
Jamie beautiful golf course, why only 69 members. That would not cover maintenance costs?
Hi Michael,
I think it has really struggled since the recession and through Covid.
Definitely deserves more members/visitors 👍🏻
hi what shot tracer are you using?
@@raaaaaaaaaap it’s actually just called “shot tracer”. It’s a yearly subscription. Think it’s about €100 👍🏻
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapper ohh that's good info thank you!!
No problem 👍🏻
Look like most of the time it was your short game around the greens that let you down
Yeah I do feel like I had some particularly tricky lies and the rough was quite grabby but I certainly could’ve saved strokes here. Also, I did lose 6 penalty strokes so could have potentially saved shots there 👍🏻
I’ve been working on my chipping loads recently and my most recent round my chipping was on fire so hoping that will come across in my next video 👍🏻
Lovey course, but thank you for sharing
👍🏻
You know you can drop from where the ball went into the trees? Often better than 3 off the tee.
@@kenirving5240 unless there’s a red or yellow stake you can’t. It’s deemed a lost ball and you must replay the shot from where you last hit. But yes if there’s stakes I’m aware of the options and tend to weigh them up during a round 👍🏻
Just wondering, is that golf shoes you are wearing, or normal trainers?
@alanbrodie5215 golf shoes
Can someone explain the point system to me ?
Hi Jesse,
It’s the Stableford system. Standard net scoring is as follows:
0 - Double Bogey or worse
1 - Bogey
2 - Par
3 - Birdie
And so on!
Anything above it means you outperformed and anything below it you underperformed
Hope that makes sense. It’s not as complicated as it sounds once you play it a few times.
Nice video! Take the driver out more man. Give yourself a better chance on easier approach
Thanks Adam, glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
I played golf once or twice with friends. We thought we were just knocking about for a laugh Not even a full set of clubs, but we were as good as this guy. 90 was what we used to aim for. I may take it up
Sounds like you could’ve went pro mate 👍🏻
69 members? That's very low to say the least!
It is indeed. I think it really struggled after the recession and then subsequently through Covid. It probably lacks a little in terms of facilities but the course itself is absolutely superb and deserves more members. I’ve played it three more times since I filmed this video, I love it that much.
You know you said your 7 iron was broken, is every other club apart from your hybrid, PW and putter broken too? 🤣
I mean, literally the only club I didn’t use in the video was a 5 iron I think 🤷🏻♂️ But I must admit, that hybrid is like my safety blanket 😂
Nice video, but I despise that Roundwood course with a passion
Cheers 👍🏻
We’ll have to agree to disagree on Roundwood so 😂 I actually love it. I’ve gone back and played it three times since this was filmed. Cheap as chips, barely a sinner on the course and genuinely some of the best views I’ve seen on any course.
It obviously doesn’t compare to the top courses around it but in terms of the price, it’s hard bet!
It's a course that has alot of potential but doesn't have the level of investment required to fulfil that potential in my opinion.
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapperFair play, Lisheen Springs in Brittas is a nice one that’s not too expensive
It’s on the list 👍🏻
I have to many triples and quads.
Absolute scorecard wreckers
Golf is fucked 20+ handicap just and and practice like everyone had to do before it’s an absolute joke
🤷🏻♂️
Definitely enough good holes there to get the bug back and a great score in the front 9 👏🏼
Keep it up 👍🏻
@@DiaryofaHighHandicapper yeah, that's what I said as well. Back at it when this sore a$$ body stops hurting 😂

I’ll be trying to “catch” you!
Love listening to your accent and seeing courses in Ireland. We only had a half day there on our only visit and ended up simply spending it in Dublin. Cheers!
Hi Roger, thanks for the really nice message 👍🏻
Maybe I won’t complain about the dreary Irish weather anymore, not sure I could handle playing golf in those temperatures 😂
Great to hear you’re back playing. I can certainly understand the difficulty getting out with family etc. I’ve an 18 month old and it’s only in the last 2 months really that I’ve been able to get back out somewhat regularly. Before that I’d say I played maybe 10 times in 2 years.
Keep getting out and I’m sure you’ll catch me in no time 😂 And if you make it back to Ireland, let me know ☘️
