Actual description: In this video ... I was supposed to install the Zeeltronics CDI, but a few things got in the way. Work, life and a minor injury... Anyway, what I actually got done needed to be done, so that's progress. I modified the stator coil so that only the necessary parts are remaining.... I also got the engine back in the hull.

Anything carbon fiber for the win! :) Looks awesome! Oh and you forgot to show the weight savings on the stator coils! You should start a weight tally on each video, every gram you carve out! Ha ha!
Haha.. Yes, Carbon Fibre for the win !! This video was a little rushed so I did forget to weigh the before and after, haha. Keeping track of the weight savings would have been really cool... and I had a list for a long time, but then things got insane when I started doing hull modifications. I need a full time helper to do my bidding, lol.
Hi Joel! I'm a follower from Australia. I fitted all my triple electronics and ignition coils into a small commonly available electrical box. I will find the dimensions for it later on today.
Awesome ... I have a few Australian viewers ! Welcome.
I have seen a few skis (photos) where people have just used an off the shelf box, but I don't think on a triple. I actually have quite a lot of room in my ski in some areas, but where I am set on installing the electronics (on the surf brace) space is very limited. It's probably would be a better idea to mount it in a different spot, but I'm stubborn ! haha.
I have a photo of it. But unsure on how to upload it
@@twostrokesornostrokes Yeah, there's no way to do that on youtube that I know of. I put my email address at the bottom of the description, if you want to email it to me.
Will do mate.
Dropping a like and I’ll be back to watch this one later
Thanks ! I appreciate it.
Obviously our opinion for the ebox is great for the fan engagement, but YOU are the best person in the history of mankind to design it right. I might make you a part for that thing that would probably make your life better. That's all I will say because who knows If I'll do it. That incident at the beginning was cool. I saw you have a trip to Nevada video..... I just got back from there and I don't know if I have the will to watch it. You will see why at some point I'm sure.
Haha... thanks ... I have started on it and I'm hoping that it works out the first time, because I don't have time to do it twice. I'm curious as to what this part you are thinking of is... what a teaser, haha.
Hmmmm.... I'm not sure what you mean about Nevada .... but it doesn't sound good ... I hope all is well.
I would like to see you get deep into a Yamaha 1100 or 1200 to the point where you can compare it to the Kawasaki 1100. I think it would be interesting to hear your objective opinions on which is better and why or which is better for what. Example being we think the Yamaha electronics are better but the Kawasaki engines themselves seem to hold up better but maybe that’s because they never run because they have crappy electronics. Just a suggestion, clearly it’s your channel so do as you please. 👍 seems like you should use a Tupperware for an ebox although it wouldn’t be very Joel Arseneault of you to do that 😂😂
I agree, that would be cool, a Yamaha 1200 is something that I would like to play with in the future.
I think Kawasaki engines are stressed a little less, meaning, they make less power per CC from the OEM … or maybe I’m wrong … that would account for some dependability.
That being said, I think dependability, once you start modifying, has a lot to do with how (well) the mods are done.
Tupperware ebox DID cross my mind just to get it on the water, as I am quite busy, but that would likely mean wiring it twice when I decide I needed something better, and ended up making a carbon fibre one anyway 🤣
I think the new carbon plate is a " Zeely" good idea!
Clever 🤟
I ❤ZEEL
Good to hear !
Get yourself a hoffman stainless nema4x enclosure
I've used them before when I worked for a controls company ... Very nice. Pricey.
You can't do the zealtronics next video because the Sobe Racing team manager isn't ready for it to be released to the public.
Oh, Dang... that's right... Gotta remember the sponsors.
Any chance do you have the 1100 zeel settings in a video? I run zeels on my Yamahas and would love to put one on my zxi1100. :)
I don't have the settings up yet. I spent the whole weekend struggling, trying to get my 1100 to work. Lots of fire, but the timing is WAY off, and no matter where I set the static timing, where it fires when I spin it over, stays the same. It tells me that it has changed, but fires at the exact same point.
@@JoelArseneaultRUclips I will keep bugging people about it. If I have find anything I will let you know. Good luck!
Are or as u say arrrr you trying to ride it this year? If so probably build the ebox on the side and use what u have currently
Haha... true eh. The main problem with that is that I don't currently have any ebox and I just had all of the electronics out in the open... due to the limited space, I had the CDI mounted right over the engine... I plan on putting it back in that spot, but that means building something to protect it.
I'm actually surprised at how much space you seem to have in. your ski. I've been thinking about using the space in front of my water box for electronics, but that's a lot of long wires, and if I want to get to any of it, that means removing the fuel tank and water box.
I'm hoping that a CF part won't be TOOOOO insanely time consuming.
On the 300 the oem firewall used to be about 8in or so more forward I had to move all that back, you could have your friend 3d print a cover for the time being, could even use that as a plug
@@Trevorkloida Yeah... He is away in BC until Thursday, I believe... but I was thinking the same thing. I need to get him printing me way more stuff... I need to get my own printer eventually, but there are a lot more important things at the moment, haha.
waiting for that zeel instal since a put 1 in my krash 997 and it is not working
Oh SHIT .... That's not what I want to hear, haha. What's it doing / not doing ? I think some of them come with the Zeeltronics, dont' they ?
@@JoelArseneaultRUclips the 2021 and up i think yes but i have a 2020 with the kavinci cdi and it fried, switch to the zeel and i have 12v comming out the ground wire haha waiting on zeel for a reply
@@mentalmens Interesting.... I don't know how it's wired, or how you are testing, but it may be normal for it to show 12V at the ground. In fact, depending on how you test it, it will almost certainly show 12V, if you are talking about the main ground.
