I've never had this problem with the molding drones. You probably just didn't account for something when you built the holster. Try doing some pre-molding preparation and make the trigger guard dimple more shallow and don't use such a thick spacer for the retention adjustment gap.
PhillyEDC Thanks. What thickness material do you use for retention blocking. I am using 1/4in popular. While we are on the topic, does it make since to belt sand a slight or heavy taper into the retention area blocking? One of the areas I am most confused about is that I had none of these issues when making holsters for Glock 26, 27. Thanks for your comments an help.
See, the issue is that you didn't control the trigger guard depth correctly so it's deep enough that the holster feels too tight when the adjustment is backed out far enough that the holster still feels sloppy. I wouldn't blame the drone for this.
PhillyEDC Thanks for your reply. The drone I am using has the trigger area already filled in, leaving a small shallow area just shy of 1/8in deep on booth sides of the trigger. The first holster, the one for the Glock 27 was made using the same techniques in terms of blocking. Although, the drones for each are of different manufacturers.
Also, that big block out strip on the reverse face of the holster probably contributes to the slop.

I'm saying that the pre-blocking isn't enough for what you're doing. It needs to be shallower and your retention spacer needs to be 50% thinner.
PhillyEDC Got it. I will try a thinner retention block spacer. However, the drone is pre-blocked inside the trigger guard.
I'm saying the pre-blocking is too deep for what you're doing. Just trust me and try it.
