I got tired like you making the top dogs money so bought my own. I'm 73 now, just turned in my CDL's after 3 careers during my lifetime. After trucking for 25 years I sold my truck & bought a farm tractor & cutter & started Custom Cutting hay. My hubby was a farmer, showed me the ropes. Hubby drove for someone else. Then he quit driving & I gave him the Custom Cutting biz & I bought me a Holstein heifer calf for $15 bucks, Raised her & started my 3rd career. I had to hand milk her every morning & night. Being a Holstein she gave 3 and a half gallons milk morning & nite. I started churning my cream for fresh butter, Making clabber (sour milk) better than Butter Milk. I had yard eggs so Saturday morning I'd load up, head to town to sell my goodies to farmers wives.I saved my earnings so when it was time to dry Dolly up, I would go buy me 4 calves to finish her off. Bred her then start all over again. I had Hubby & I a herd of 60 cows by then. Remember he cut & bailed hay,so he would find folks with big lots with good grass & cut it for free to keep the hay for the cows during the Winter. Hence my last career. We had pork in back of our pasture, beef on the hoof, all the butter & milk & eggs we needed so my grocery bill was minimal every week. Not many women do this anymore. I pity them should a depression hit us. Not sure you care to read all this, but feel connected with you and Shanna*. Hope she's doing ok now. God Bless you for giving her the care you do. It's so sad how parents enable their criminal children. Matt did nothing wrong, yet dad knows he can't harass the cops, so he harasses Matt. Now I see why the son is the way he is. My son got into trouble at 12yrs old stealing a golf cart off Sonoma State Univ. and the cops caught him and his friend. We wanted the cops to "book him" only yo scare him. They had no plans on pressing charges but we wanted to scare the devil out of him-after losing everything and being grounded the whole summer, he learned. He's now an army medic doing his country proud! My point is perhaps if Dad there punished his son and stopped protecting him, perhaps he wouldn't feel a sense of entitlement to keep breaking the law! TheBCSledder Over here they are now fining people for phones that are not strapped down (in a cradle or someones bag) and free to fly around the vehicle in an accident and it is illegal to use a phone not in a cradle whilst driving now. I'm surprised them laws haven't extended over there yet. It seems to be an attempt to stop the morons txting and emailing whilst driving. TheBCSledder Hole in the dash works fine (stops it becoming a projectile) :). I use a cradle for mine both due to the fact I can legally use it then whilst traveling but also we are in a poor reception area (mountainous farming country) and the only way to hold a decent conversation whilst traveling or call the farmer from his gate when his drive is stuffed and you can't get up the drive to fix whatever you need the big antenna I run on the boot which is hooked to the cradle which boosts for example at the folks place my iPhone 4s from 1 bar handheld to 4-5bars in the cradle. This makes a huge difference if tethering.
I really hope you didn't put you, and your family in a bad spot down the road. I know it feels good inside to do the right thing and assist the police in nabbing that guy. I've been down that road before too, having a criminal arrested for breaking and enter of a liquor store twice, on two separate occasions. The first having to relocate in fear of retribution to me, and the second went to prison for 11 months, coz of my good deeds. Watch your back from now on. It was a real action packed vid, I must say.

Your a perfectionist and I don't say that about many men since I'm a retired Owner Operator Woman of an 18 wheeler. I was out there when very few women drove. I got tired like you making the top dogs money so bought my own. I'm 73 now, just turned in my CDL's after 3 careers during my lifetime. After trucking for 25 years I sold my truck & bought a farm tractor & cutter & started Custom Cutting hay. My hubby was a farmer, showed me the ropes. Hubby drove for someone else. Then he quit driving & I gave him the Custom Cutting biz & I bought me a Holstein heifer calf for $15 bucks, Raised her & started my 3rd career. I had to hand milk her every morning & night. Being a Holstein she gave 3 and a half gallons milk morning & nite. I started churning my cream for fresh butter, Making clabber (sour milk) better than Butter Milk. I had yard eggs so Saturday morning I'd load up, head to town to sell my goodies to farmers wives.I saved my earnings so when it was time to dry Dolly up, I would go buy me 4 calves to finish her off. Bred her then start all over again. I had Hubby & I a herd of 60 cows by then. Remember he cut & bailed hay,so he would find folks with big lots with good grass & cut it for free to keep the hay for the cows during the Winter. Hence my last career. We had pork in back of our pasture, beef on the hoof, all the butter & milk & eggs we needed so my grocery bill was minimal every week. Not many women do this anymore. I pity them should a depression hit us. Not sure you care to read all this, but feel connected with you and Shanna*. Hope she's doing ok now. God Bless you for giving her the care you do. It's so sad how parents enable their criminal children. Matt did nothing wrong, yet dad knows he can't harass the cops, so he harasses Matt. Now I see why the son is the way he is. My son got into trouble at 12yrs old stealing a golf cart off Sonoma State Univ. and the cops caught him and his friend. We wanted the cops to "book him" only yo scare him. They had no plans on pressing charges but we wanted to scare the devil out of him-after losing everything and being grounded the whole summer, he learned. He's now an army medic doing his country proud! My point is perhaps if Dad there punished his son and stopped protecting him, perhaps he wouldn't feel a sense of entitlement to keep breaking the law! Over here they are now fining people for phones that are not strapped down (in a cradle or someones bag) and free to fly around the vehicle in an accident and it is illegal to use a phone not in a cradle whilst driving now. I'm surprised them laws haven't extended over there yet. It seems to be an attempt to stop the morons txting and emailing whilst driving. I use siri for that when the silly btch gets the words correct in the annotation lol.

Hole in the dash works fine (stops it becoming a projectile) :).
I use a cradle for mine both due to the fact I can legally use it then whilst traveling but also we are in a poor reception area (mountainous farming country) and the only way to hold a decent conversation whilst traveling or call the farmer from his gate when his drive is stuffed and you can't get up the drive to fix whatever you need the big antenna I run on the boot which is hooked to the cradle which boosts for example at the folks place my iPhone 4s from 1 bar handheld to 4-5bars in the cradle. This makes a huge difference if tethering.
I really hope you didn't put you, and your family in a bad spot down the road. I know it feels good inside to do the right thing and assist the police in nabbing that guy. I've been down that road before too, having a criminal arrested for breaking and enter of a liquor store twice, on two separate occasions. The first having to relocate in fear of retribution to me, and the second went to prison for 11 months, coz of my good deeds. Watch your back from now on. It was a real action packed vid, I must say.
