Im part of the unpopular opinion because after seeing this
Homelander did not at all stand out and this is not me hating on the character at all. My fear was that since omni man, a exact copy of homelander but more skilled, would over shadow homelander and it shows! In this game, he just looks like a generic flight character with lazer powers
Agree sadly I feel like MK1 is such an underwhelming and safe game imo everything looks great but the gameplay rlly is just super bland imo

sadly the others are praising this because maybe they are just blinded by the fact that it's mortal Kombat and will eat up what evers thrown at them by NRS.
Im a day one mk fan from the 90s but even I can be honest and call out the fluff. This trailer fell flat and I knew it would!
The only thing they did with him is just give him flight and laser. Other than that, I'm with you on him not standing out.
