360 CS sounds ridiculously beautiful, an old school Ferrari classic.
Damn! I really love the 90s - 2000s era Ferraris! For me the 360 CS & 430 S were the last two street legal Ferraris that sounded raw and honest like in the good ol' times... What came later on was impressive on another level but in terms of emotions it didn't get any better imho. Just watch the first 5 sec of this video and you can clearly hear what I mean...

Fantastic review! Many Ferrari technicians I’ve spoken to still rate the 430 Scud as one of the best Ferraris ever producers. As for the 360 Challenge…. What a beautiful thing too. Modern Classic !

Ferrari noise improves as you turn the clock backwards.
Though it’s not usually in the conversation because it doesn’t perform as well as these, The best sound was the 355 challenge with the 360 being a tighter package overall.
It's debatable, the 355 gearbox slows the revs down too much on the upshift making it sound a bit lazy compared to the 360CS & 430Sud banging shifts faster keeping the revs higher quicker
I say it again....the 430Scuderia and the 458Speciale are real Ferraricars, the sound of these V8 are the best!!! And the golden rims!😉👍🏻

That small piece of road, from the R45 Franschoek road turn off to the dead end at the Bergrivier Dam, is only about 2km's. But damn is it out of this world to drive or ride. You don't get that slick of a surface everywhere in SA if you know what I mean
Great video! I own both the 360 and the 430, next time you must keep the throttle flat out during the upshifts. Especially in the scud. It will then use F1 superfast shifts. ;-)

You have to stop calling it an F430 Scuderia. I agree the Scud is best and love mine. Call it by its real name, 430 Scuderia. Great content!
I own an F430, but the Challenge Stradale is just a beautiful car. My car is faster, but I think the CS has more presence. I'm not sure I would take it over a Scud, but it would be a very hard choice to make simply by the looks.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia is my fav Ferrari but they should of made that car 6 speed manual transmission only!

The SF2 is one of, if not the, most definitive parts of the ownership experience.
I choose the CS. I have one. My spot on the 430 came up and I couldn’t trade in the CS. It still had better nos. Plus that sound…..
360cs sounds the best but would choose the Scud as has a much better gearbox.
Actually it is not 360 Challenge Stradale; it is only called Challenge Stradale. It is a pure racing car. It has paddle shifts but semi automatic. So you have to always put your hands on the wheel and change the gears by yourself :)
But that 430 Scuderia! That is a dream car. At least my dream car...Great review

Ferrari has achieved perfection on each car. Didnt think it was possible. Flat plane crank v8s and high rpms forever.

great video. i have both. scud is more visceral and raw, especially with an exhaust. CS is super light and darty due to the narrow fronts. Shift time really isnt that bad in theCS when in race. Scud is lighter on its feet and slightly faster steering (pista steering is amazing). CS is one of the best looking ferraris ever made, especially with the rare factory stripe.
I haven't looked in a long time, but I'm guessing 360s will never depreciate down to 327 late 90s prices thanks to that magnificent-sounding V8, where you could scoop one up all day for 20 grand high side.
On the other hand, at 3:23 Bijon if you hadn't said something, I would think that one sounds like its down two cylinders at idle. Has it been that long since we went from the 458-era engine notes?
Edit: Evidently I've been watching too much Star Wars. At 6:46 I was totally vindicated for a brief moment for your other worldly experience; "Ah ha! Two suns! He's on... Oh, it's a lens flare."

I don't know if it's just me or not, I was born in 2000, and I just started to be a car fanatic, and this classic cars they're just loud, nothing more, it's like someone is screaming next to me, maybe I don't understand much about classic.

Prefer the looks of the scud but prefer the soumd of the cs , would lose those horrid stripes off them though

Somebody needs to teach this dude how to get into a sports car. That was hard to watch especially in such a well kept example.

Ferrari's are supposed to be naturally aspirated.
Well, that's like saying that,when it comes to tradition only the front engine models can be considered true Ferraris....That's simply not true.
For example the F40,one of the most sought after Ferrari models,is a mid engine twinturbo ! Still occupying a crowning position in top class marque-focused collections.
