And the vocal performances also give a tad bit of While I stay secluded. Its so fucking good already.
In my opinion Disposable Life was the best Knuckle Puck have been in years, and now they're cranking it up even further. Big W for everyone.
@@skeleatenDisposable life was the most mature record so far. They did a great job capturing elements from past albums, like the raw vocal aspect of Copacetic, the abstract writing from Shapeshifter and the smooth musicality from 20/20
I said the same thing, it's very new but very much like shapeshifter I missed this style with 20/20 they went a bit soft and came back even harder. Seeing this live was AMAZING
bro i LOVE that their back up singer is now half the song’s vocals, not many bands have a backup singer who’s just as good as the front man, their back and forth verses blend SOOO WELL here

To me this doesn't sound like anything they've ever done, and I absolutely love it. It's like their take on Mid 00's Emo Pop Punk/Post-Hardcore which is one of my favorite eras of pop punk adjacent music
I thought the same exact thing. The guitar sound is so much thicker, fuller, and heavier than I've ever heard from them. Hoping more tracks on the album sound like this one does.
Closest thing is prob the While I Stay Secluded EP. Totally agree with the comparison, swear I hear a lot of the best of Anberlin and Senses Fail from the leads, and the backing vox just scream Transit. Really stellar stuff.

I think whats so incredibly emotional about this chorus is the fact that the first section has Nick and Joe bouncing back and forth between lines, and then they come in together in this almost war chant level second half. I know that part is going to INSANE live. Great fucking track, KP. Cannot wait for the new album!

Damn, KP got real dark with this one. Really caught me off guard. Kind of gives me Shapeshifter vibes but also sounds like a bit of a new direction for them. Now you got me stoked for the album. KP never disappoints!

Love this heavy take on pop punk theyve been chasing. Makes them stand out from the pack allot. This is gonna be their best album, watch. The writing is a perfect mix of copacetic and 20/20. Destructive yet optimistic. Mix rips as always.

It’s interesting the directions they take each album. Copacetic came out (amazing, angsty), then they said they wanted Shapeshifter to be all about change (still amazing and angsty, but a change in message), then 20/20 came out they wanted it to be ‘happier’ and an escape from the crazy shit in the world. Now with this album, they’ve basically said “yea we’re tired of pretending everything will be okay, it’s time to panic”. And that really comes through with this song, I like it a lot

this band was the only pop-punk band that I listen till this day, and dayum its sounds good!!
Is pop punk FINALLY making a comeback. I feel off this genre HARD after neck deep started slipping with All Distortions and the story so far just kind of went away. But Knuckle Puck released a banger and neck deep is finding their footing again, the story so far dropped a new song, and Waterparks has done their best album since double dare. Maybe punk is finally coming back.
