This song truly shows growth in the band. Between the riffs, rhythm changes, tempo changes, lyricism and over all song structure and musicianship. These guys are for real and not just trying to cookie cut.

Hands down this is one of the best pop punk songs I've ever experienced. The section after the calm bridge gives me real chills every single time.
It's crazy that they named the acoustic "Home Alone", then continued and made a metaphor in this song with "I'm an unlocked door and you're a fucking thief".

Westbrook Lawrence I would disagree with that, (I may be wrong and I'm open to bring corrected I won't get butthurt dw but..) I'm pretty confident the word copacetic means when "things are the way they are supposed to be", which doesn't necessarily mean good: it's basically accepting that things are in order, even if they aren't what you like...and I definitely like this, I like this a lot. So while you're not necessarily wrong as the way this song is could be perceived as in a good order, but it could also be perceived as being a bad order by anyone that doesn't like it the way it is :) I'm not shitting on you or anything n I hope you have a good day but I just don't think copacetic is consistently accurate

Saw them in concert last week and Joe said "this song is for you guys." I wonder if he was cluing us in to the meaning of this song. Is it about the band working and working and getting "calloused hands" but then us (as the fans/iisteners/etc) just take Knuckle Puck for granted? They're up there playing, writing and singing their guts out, but why would we care?
We get the entertainment we want because of Joe's suffering. His "unlocked door" is him letting all of his feelings and darkness out in the open and we just come in and steal it all because the music is more important than the people writing it.

+kliqit maybe you're right. but it just makes so much sense and it's totally plausible given how awesome a lyricist Joe is. he could pull off a song like that. have us "screaming into permanence" a song that's actually about how we just use he and the band's raw emotion as entertainment.
