I walk you through all the different kinds of interesting rocks, minerals, and gemstones you can find while rockhounding the North Shore. "We'll save that for the next person too. OK, never mind I want this one. Who am I kidding? I want this one too!" When the FOMO hits 🤣🤣🤣
Time stamp?

It perfectly resumes the rockhunting experience 🤣
10:54 this is most definitely a Kodama, straight from Princess Mononoke !
Beautiful finds!! The heavy rock bag is definitely our sacrifice!! ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
9:45 😂 omg I'm dying! That little face! Your enthusiasm always makes me smile and feel better about my own wackiness for rocks. What a great haul too! Can't wait to see some of those tumbles and slabs!
Bahahaha I’m so glad you liked it 🤣
I love seeing somone get so excited about something they love, it's so refreshing 😊
You are delightfuly bonkers and I love your channel.
Love your videos and since I recently discovered you, I have been binge watching your videos and enjoying them immensely😂
I found her a month ago, and binged, fun fun, and funny.😊
So excited she gets. I can't watch too close to bedtime or I won't get to sleeping...Have Fun...😅
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you like the channel!
I’m watching you from since you were 5k I’m shocked you got 58k in half a year
You deserve it!!
The amethyst is cool, especially for a LS find, but the fractured agates just 🤯! Love the scoop! That’s exactly what I would want to do if I were there. I would pick a spot, sit there and go through it till I’m satisfied. I’m too near-sighted to be walking and stooping trying to spot something on the fly. You found some great rock rocks❤
1:12 I was expecting her to come out of the water in full scuba gear 😂
Don’t give me ideas, cause this is hilarious 🤣
Great Video! Love the talking rock.
You hit the jackpot with the fractured membrane agate! congratulations !😁
Right!! I looked at it closer when I got home and was blown away by all the beauty!
Love your positivity! You’re so upbeat ! I get the same giddy-ish vibe when I find cool rocks too! It’s on the bucket list to make it up to Lake Superior and Huron! There’s a good channel called ‘Michigan rocks’ 🪨 so awesomeeeeeeeee 😎
Thank you so much for sharing your adventure AND your joy.
It was a pleasure to be present to see the beautiful rocks, I'm waiting for the next one 👍❤️
Thank you so much!
5:34 OH MY GOSH!!! THAT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FIND 💜 ☺️
My fav line now “tine tiny agate”😂😂
You wouldn't want to go with me. I'd be on my hands and knees with a scooper and magnifying glass in my tool belt yelling, "hey, look at this!" the entire time. 😂😂
I found you from your “cutting open random rocks” video and stayed for your awesome energy! You remind me of an a really cool science teacher or a really nice aunt(:
Congratulations!! That was a killer day!!!
I don't really have an interest in rocks.....but I still find it interesting watching your RUclips videos and your enthusiasm...particularly like the videos where you cut rocks to see whats inside
Ahhhh ...i really love those activity😍😍😍
Wow! I did some rock hunting on Lake Champlain. I found some pretty stuff but mostly just shale. I love being a rock hound!
4:04 is gorgeous!
So many beautiful stones there at 5:35 is really very beautiful thanks for beautiful sharing 😊
4:13 those rocks are actually magnetic i have a bunch of those and they stick to the magnets‼️‼️
Lake Superior is my go to Rockhounding spot. Good finds😊
I love your videos. If you ever host “rockhounding with Ariel” and I’m anywhere nearby, I’m in! I have a feeling it would be a blast. ❤
My 11 year old son and I live near Lake Superior and go to the beach often, but we've never found anything as cool as that amethyst. I showed him this video and he was laughing so hard! I never knew all the names of the rocks around here, so thank you!!
Awesome video you find, some amazing stones!
Such a fun video! Love how you have so much personality and love rocks like I do!!
Thank you so much!
Awesome video, thanks for sharing 🎊 loved the amethysts
9:44 made me laugh hard. This was content gold. Great videos.
What a wonderful video! I smiled the whole time, and adore the alarmed rock bit at 9:44.💖 Excellent use of a cat litter scoop, too. 😻
Very much looking forward to seeing some of today's finds when they're tumbled, or cut open to reveal their inner beauty!
Thank you so much!
@@AgateAriel If you were going for an impression of Gingy from Shrek, you nailed it! :)
This was a fun trip along the lake. Thanks for taking us along. I loved your talking agate. I think i met it before.
Awww I LOVE the alien!! How cool.
This is my favroite video all of all your video's
Wow! You got some really good finds! Thank you for sharing.😁
Great video, makes me want to go to the north shore. Thanks for sharing.
@ 10:43 That one rock you said looked like an alien actually looks just like the painting The Scream. Hope you kept it.
Both you and Agate Dad have the same reactions to these agates. I usually don't react like that because I don't want to let people know I'm crazy, not think, but know.😂
Wow so neat! I love ❤️ this!
Cool finds there Ariel. Lucky you! :o)
Thank you!!
Would love to see some of your rock hunting finds tumbled and/or slabbed, you could do a before and after with clips of you finding them
Epic finds
Wow, you lucked out! I'm thankful to live 45 minutes from Lake Superior. :)
It was literally one of the best adventures I’ve had!!
Great finds!!❤
The thing I have the hardest time with is identifying what I have. Do you have any suggestions for resources?
Okay, rule number one.. you gotta dig!
You're funny 😂 man wish i was your friend rock hounding looked like an awesome day
Looking forward to seeing you cut some of these!
Way fun!!!!!!🤩
Omg I love this! ❤🎉
Please do the other Great Lakes ❤
Every time you make a Lake Superior video I feel like it's my birthday! :)
I love superior!! It’s such a great hunt!!
Lol Ariel, you are so cool and funny. 😂
i really wanna see that fractured agate polished 🤩
thank you for the comedy, it made my week
My family sometimes goes to Door County (WI) to visit Lake Michigan, and I have collected a few rocks that caught my eye. I haven't been able to identify them (or more like I haven't tried), but I now realize that I have several agates around the size of my fist (~5 inch diameter).
I wish I knew how to identify these rocks. I'll keep watching.
Feeling like all the good rocks are picked over in Duluth but now I have hope!
ah-mig-da-loid-ull. You're making it harder than it needs to be!
If you aren't a teacher you should be your obvious excitement for the subject is infectious even through videos
Something I like to do is go to the beach after a Hurricane. I live on the Gulf Coast, and you can find a ton of interesting stuff!
Ah, this made me excited, I'll on Lake Superior in the UP this fall for vacation!
Cape Cod has some awesome rock hunting spots. I'm from Cape Cod
Talking rocks, singing rocks? 😊😂
OK, I’m gonna have to travel to Michigan also get me a rock tumbler.
Ariel you definitely need a bigger bag if anyone can find it you will enjoy your enthusiasm it makes your videos so enjoyable thanks till next time
I just discovered your channel🎉 Your videos are great!
Its like treasures just laying around on the beach! How do i keep from taking it ALL home? 😢😮😅😅😅😂
😎👍good beach fun time
9:42 You are crazy 🤪 but in a funny way 🥰
New subscriber, watched a few videos and was intrigued by the 'egg- it' rocks, something new for me to learn. Anyone I am misunderstanding the accent here there not eggs they are Agate, silly me.
😂 You are too funny. Maybe this will help: ah-mig-dah-loy-dal
Great video
Thank you!
Fractured membrane is the best.
4:09 for some reason i can see someone making a little alien miniature creature with it, not all rocks and minerals has to be paper weights and jewelry hehe Edit: Can't wait to see you cutting them open to see what is inside.
You need a bigger bag, I use a US Army rucksack when I go rockhounding.
I was lucky. I ordered a lap diamond by Temu and received a real one.
Love this Channel 🪨🤘🪨
If you had a cup of Duluth Coffee Company at the hotel, and saw a guy with green hair during your travels working at a desk, then I’m fairly certain I saw you in town!
Also, if you’re in to fossils, there’s loads of free roaming crinoid bits all along the shore!
When nature faerie polishes stones 2:44 5:40
I love ur energy, ur happiness makes me smile with u. I take it, it's ok to take the rocks, stones & crystals u find on this shoreline? xx
Yay!!!
Ariel, how many tumblers do you have going at any one time?
Now you need to go to dauphin Island in Alabama
I found cool pinkish purple crystal , and many other crystals
Also good video❤❤🎉
Hand model of the year
you ever find yooperlight up there
Tiny face rock new channel mascot
You really made me laugh when you used that small rock as a puppet. My favorite videos you do are when you cut open the rocks and also when you do a before and after rock polish.
Hey Ariel! I have a question! What do you do with the rocks that you can’t identify? I just got a bunch of organizer boxes for all my rocks and I tried organizing them but there are just so many I can’t identify!
Would you still start with stage 1 grit if you tumbled the smoother rocks found on the shore? Like if they already had a satiny finish?
Do you ever find yooperlite?
For all you celcius peeps out there the 55F is about 12C
Because you ARE on basault terrain you haver more chance of finding amethist or rubíes and diamonds
Oh that’s awesome!!
@@AgateAriel but on kimberlite you have a 10% chance of finding a dimond
Where did you get your rock collecting bag? I've been trying to find a decent mesh bag like that.
Here you go! amzn.to/3WOwn8S
@@AgateAriel Thank you 😀
did you skip a stone while there?
❤🎉
Where on LS?
Can you crack these open in the next video
6:04 gold almost never comes in that kind of rock u will most likly find gold in pure quartz or some rivers nearby
Oh good to know! I was freaking out lol
I had a great grandfather that used to pan for gold and he said gold likes to collect around the larger rocks in rivers. It gets stuck there.
