I've taken a look at Warfleets before and have wanted to give it a go, thanks for the battle report! Overall, I'm very impressed with everything OPR has done. It's good to have a simple and cost effective way to play warhammer without having to pay for the unnecessarily expensive rulebooks.

I downloaded this ruleset but haven't played. Didn't dislike them at all but have been involved in other stuff. There are some good rules for free. I'd recommend the 2nd ed. BOHICA and Sunder the Stars.

where did you get the minis

nvm saw the vid say it still they look super good. was looking at ruleset and tried the starter set solo but wasn't sure which type of bases are best. did you playtest with any of the other types and did it matter?

@@gabrielnguyen5580 I've only ever played with hex bases as that's what these ships came with, but I don't think it would matter at all what shape or sizes of bases your models were on. The rules are written to work with all sorts of models including drop fleet commander bases and the recyangle bases for Star Wars Armada.

what did you use for the terrain, is it homemade or a kit?

All of the terrain is from Geek Villain, the mat and the terrain disks.
