Hey Carl, enjoyed the video. I take delivery of my GT MC Sportline next week! Would you be able to make a "how-to" video on all the features and functions? Climate Control, dash and steering wheel buttons, etc? I think it would be very useful!
Useful info thanks. Do you know how to reset the seat slide function when you tip the seat forward to use the rear seats? Mine has mysteriously stopped working.
Thanks for watching! With the ignition to off open the door on the affected side and very quickly press the seat forward, then back, then forward, then back, then tilt the seat back forward. This procedure must be started within 5 seconds of opening the door and be completed within 10 seconds. If you have correctly completed the reset, the seat will move fully forward, then fully back, then fully forward again, then fully back. At this point, return the seat back to its normal upright position and set the position of the seat for use. The process is now complete.
I've noticed your engine management light stays on when engine is on, I've seen this happen on other videos too. Does the light turn off afterwards by itself?
It does have Bluetooth phone connection, you can't stream anything...backup camera is not standard option until the Chrysler entertainment model came out in the last production year. What's important is the brand history, Ferrari engine, and the sound.
@@CarlsGarage1 mate I owned one for a year. Thoroughly disappointed with the lack of basic functionality in a Grand Tourer. I mean it was a beautiful car but the electrics were out of the 1990’s. Lost $20k in depreciation after a year of ownership too. Worst mistake I ever made but it I appreciate my AMG Merc all the more for owning the GT.
Overall Maserati is very expensive to maintain, parts are very limited and not all the shops are willing to work on them. The Ferrari F136 engine is pretty reliable, try to avoid early models with single clutch hydraulic transmission (which requires clutch replacement every 15K miles). The newer ZF 6 speed model is pretty good. No major issues for the GT model.
@@adilusa 2008,2009,2010 models. some 2010's have the ZF6 trans made by Audi, but why buy the 1st year that all the bugs may have not been worked out yet?
Carl I am looking at one now a 2015 GT your video was very helpful thank you 😊
Glad to see your enjoying your beautiful Maserati 👌🏻
Awesome video Carl! Very informative.
Great Video mate!
Thank you

What Model and year of GT are you reviewing or does it apply to all.

Hey boss, the gran turismo Has a cruise control…???
What year is yours?
Basic stuff, once you own one ❤
you should talk about the bluetooth...oops, doesn't have it. Reversing camera...nope. On the bright side though, it does have a lot of cup holders.

@@CarlsGarage1 can you tell me please what years are considered "early models"/ What year to avoid when buying used Maserati Granturismo?
