Yes this is the original MOD coverage. I know because I recorded it at the time as was bouncing about behind the goal with arms in the air in front of the chair after our first goal - no grey hair then. Great memories and pleased to find this as VHS long since gone!

Wow Sheffield Wednesday was real contenders and outsider's chance winning the title. Everytime I go back to this season they only make it a two horse race between Leeds and Manchester United through the season. The season was clearly a 3 horse race. If Leeds had have lost and if Wednesday won they would have been on the same points and in second place. With one game left.
Why is this season only remembered for Leeds and Manchester United title race?.
Also Michael Lake was awesome that season for United. One of the most underrated players. He was a real loss to United.
