  • Human beings are prone to developing irrational, limiting beliefs, which often lead to distorted perceptions of reality and hinder personal growth. These irrational beliefs, identified by psychologist Albert Ellis, shed light on the faulty thinking patterns that can negatively impact our lives.
    By examining these twelve irrational beliefs, we can recognise the fallacious thinking patterns that can hinder personal development and well-being. Awareness of these beliefs is the first step towards challenging and replacing them with rational and empowering perspectives. By cultivating a more realistic and adaptive mindset, individuals can navigate life's challenges more effectively and experience greater personal growth and fulfilment and improve overall mental health.
    Looking at the beliefs from a general perspective, the perspective of having been in a narcissistic relationship, as well as how they might apply to a narcissistic person.

    Thank you, this is helping me. I am currently struggling to come to terms to the fact that I have to stop hoping that my mother will ever change. That she will do something to overcome her narcissism and finally see me and my pain. But it’s never gonna happen and I have to accept the unfairness of it.

    One cannot help someone (such as a narcissist) if that person does not acknowledge they have a mental disorder in the first place. A narcissist's thinking can be highly irrational at times and it's best to avoid the narcissist completely if possible. Narcissist live in their own false reality in order to feed their extremely large egos.....

      The question that is most important is "how did people become narcasistic? They don't get a book, go to training, they simply have the trait so I feel it is neurological damage. Narcissism and Autism sit in the same spectrum and I believe that the Columbia University study in 2017 on Vaccine Injury resulting in pre-natal fever, causing Autism (40-300% increase) has something to do with it. That the 'obliviously' autistic people form only a part of the cohort that is affected because our measurement of autism has a cut off point.
      I also believe the zero carbon objective is reducing street lighting and causing a one sided peripheral strobe effect. This would trigger an unsettling feeling in an Autistic person and could cause issues at home.

    It is possible that someone can change, however the discussion about someone repeatedly doing the same thing over and over again, apologizing for it then repeating compared with what Dr Ramani would say when they show you who they are the first time pay attention could use further clarification. Although a narcissist isn't going to tell you the truth or the whole truth the first time. It took me 23 years to get a version of the truth only because they forgot what they had originally said.

    • @deetheman3508
      @deetheman3508 Год назад +2

      I took it he meant where they are on the spectrum, how deeply ingrained the traits are, and whether or not they want to change. He's mentioned this before, but he also said that those with strong narcissistic traits don't want to change because they take no responsibility for themselves. It's everyone else who has to change

    • @maidmarion2976
      @maidmarion2976 Год назад +2

      Because without God you have no foundation. It is irrational to think you can live without a belief in someone you need. Your question, in its essence shows that you don’t understand what you are trying to deny.
