Very cool! My Daughter has an Explore 1, and I really don't need to spend any more money, for more toys, but have been exploring the Maker. Cutting MULTIPLE layers just sold me! Beats space-hogging cutting mats & standing over a table for hours, cutting, til my hands cramp. Oh, YEAH! I LOVE this! THANKS!
Can you add a bigger 3 layers of material and cut more than one set of squares. Like maybe 4 sets of 3 if it can fit in the mat or use a bigger mat also?
Great tutorial Carole I am cutting face masks and this will be a game changer . What can you tell us about the spray as far as if it will be safe to use on the mask material . Will it need to be rewashed before sewing masks. Will leaving the spray on the material dissipate or will people be breathing this in.
Love the video, thanks for the info, cant wait till I have enough $$ to get me one of those Makers ;) What's the spray called you used to spray the fabrics to stay together you have a picture of it. Thank You
I just found this tip. I notice you did not cover the area, for over spray. I sprayed my fabric and got the whole area sticky. Is it ok to get the spray on the pink mat?

Cricut recommends not spraying on the mat. Just so you know, and prevent problems, later.
Thank you!

In think I was more interested in knowing how you put the fabric on the mat...this was also useful.
By any rare chance would this work with a double layer of wool felt? Boy would THAT help my arthritic hands!
Doesn’t the spray gum up,your mat?
