It’s because at the time of the scandal X1 had not signed a contract yet, so companies decided to disband them right away, whereas izone stayed together because they had already signed contracts, but i agree with you, it was pretty unfair to the X1 boys…

The Momoland situation was terrible for all of the members. After the great year they had with Bboom Bboom & Baam and all of the hate they received, looking back on it, it was only a matter of time until they disbanded. 2019 (One year after Bboom Bboom): The Daisy dating scandal with an IKON member came out before the I'm So Hot comeback (MLD confirmed, but YG denied) leading to both her and Taeha to be on a hiatus (Taeha was on hiatus for medical reasons). Before their Japanese release of Pinky Love, it was said that Yeonwoo was going on a hiatus for her anxiety. During this time, Daisy's mom got involved. Dis hearted by Daisy's hiatus, she went on to insult the members saying that they abandoned her daughter among other things. November came and it was revealed that Taeha and Yeonwoo left Momoland (Taeha also left MLD while Yeonwoo stayed to become an actress). Daisy was still in hiatus at this time and Nancy became a victim of a hidden camera that filmed her without her knowing (she was one of the hosts of the 2019 Asia Artist Awards in Vietnam and was changing her outfit). 2020 to Disbandment: Daisy comes on television to say that Finding Momoland was rigged and mentioned that the Momoland members had to pay production cost of the survival show. She was going through steps to sue MLD in order to terminate her contract because the company refused to let her rejoin the group and when she tried to terminate her contract, they said she had to pay them back. Yeonwoo also alleged on a livestream that she didn't leave Momoland and that the company kicked her out of the group. 2021 comes and the group was seemingly being neglected in favor of TFN (T1419 at the time), the company's new boy group and Yeonwoo leaves MLD. Daisy wins her lawsuit and was finally able to not only leave MLD, but also have the company pay her back. After Lapillus debuted, it seemed like MLD didn't need Momoland anymore. Music wise in total from 2020 onward, Momoland released their last EP with 4 songs, a single album with 2 songs, a collaboration with Chromance called Wrap Me in Plastic, & a collaboration with Natti Natasha called Yummy Yummy Love for a total of 8 songs within a 2-year period. Momoland suffered a lot and deserved a big apology from not only MLD Entertainment, but from Kpop fans in general because during all of this, they became punching bags and were recipients of not only hate comments, but comments sexualizing the group and its members, especially Nancy & Yeonwoo. I'm sorry if I missed a few things or remembered it wrong, but my heart goes out to those girls and I'm just happy that all 9 of them are free.

I would also bring back IOI, they were literally the perfect group... and I heard that their final lineup wasn't rigged, just a few people in like round one. Besides for the impact that already had, given more time to find a concept. I feel like they would've absolutely blown up like Iz*one did. Maybe even bigger as the impact they had originally cannot be understated, so imagine that impact + more time with the girls and group.
I dont think ioi can being biggest than izone...their discography is forgettable or overwhelmed expect very very as hit. Izone has trilogy with great story line with elegant concept . Their sales re not high as izone..like izone have 3,1 M sales even after disband the People buy their albums..sad izone were underestimed in international but still popular in korea and japan. IOI also came out at a time before international fans really got into kpop back in 2016, while Izone came after 2018 which is when the 3rd hallyu wave really hit… also halfway through their career was Covid. So sales and popularity don’t mean anything because they’re at different points in kpop. 1)Izone had a storyline? 2) I personally feel like they had a great concept… but that’s about it besides for breaking sales records and having people copy the elegant concept for a short bit. How have they truly changed the landscape? Twice and IOI allowed for survival show groups to run and IOI popularized ending fairies. Also, I know sales sounds amazing but here’s my point, someone would’ve come along and done it… they were just able to do it first (I’ve heard this argument used with BTS too… someone would’ve come along and become popular in the US. i disagree and agree. their discography is golden (honestly my fav in kpop) so i would love if i could hear more of them but im just glad they escaped that hell company.
Apparently BUGABOO only signed a 2 1/2 year contract, so after that, the members decided to leave. I’m honestly grateful that they were given the chance to continue or stay, but i do still miss them.

I miss the post I.O.I groups a lot (PRISTIN 💔), but out of them all I would do anything to bring Gugudan back. They could have been so much more if Jellyfish pushed all the members like they pushed Sejeong, and just tried harder with them with more come-backs instead of a long ass hiatus. They had one of the best discographies ever and let's not even talk about their vocal lines, they were all insanely good! It's been 3 years since their disbandment and I still can't get over it
I did not stan x1 when they debuted but only after their disbandment. It made me absolutely upset, mostly because I watched videos of them at their time in pd and realized how the lineup would have shaken the whole kpop industry. i would do anything, ANYTHING, to bring them back.
I would have loved to see CLC be able to move to another company and retain all of the rights to their stuff but I know that's a VERY big reach to ask of Cube in any stretch of the imagination. I'm happy to see Seungyeon and Sorn reunite under Wild and I hope that good things come from that. I hope that Yujin has success while she's still in Kep1er (Japanese comeback is coming soon, btw) and whatever she does beyond that after. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing Yeeun's solo career because I'm hoping that woman will just explode in popularity. Seunghee, I fear will be pretty much kept in the dungeon of Cube until she decides to leave, unfortunately. I have so very little faith in that company. While I'm sad that Eunbin is also still under that stupid label, I hope that she thrives in her activities as an actress. Elkie at least seems happy being back home and I'm glad for that. CLC ultimately deserved so much better. So much wasted potential there and it was so sad to see it happen. I'm proud of how hard they fought as a group. (I wrote this while I was still in the CLC portion of the video but HOLY HECK I'D BRING BUGABOO BACK IN A HEARTBEAT TOO.)

IZ*ONE is my 2nd fave kpop group of all time. I also would not bring them back permanently but I would love it if they reunited and released a song or mini-album in a few years as a one-off thing. Then maybe they could get together in some capacity for their 10th or 15th debut anniversary.

I see the reasons but: -I don't want an IZ*One revival mainly because I want a 48G unit in SK and if IZ*One existed still that would be impossible. -DIA was done so dirty by their company, I'm happy YEBIN and CHAYEON are free now
i still find it weird that dia flopped after mbk creating huge successful groups. while yes, they failed after the t-ara bullying scandal, it’s just weird how they pushed amazing groups like t-ara, seeya, davichi, supernova and even pushing out some of hong jinyoung’s major hits, yet somehow they failed miserably, and I really think it came from the drama surrounding the t-ara scandal, focusing on trying to shut it out by disbanding co-ed school, debuting dia, and then trying really hard to revive t-ara. mbk wanted t-ara’s success again, but were never going to get it. the way they dragged it out caused the downfall of the company and made many leave the company due to poor management, so really dia was set up to fail from the beginning due to poor management, controversial company, and so much more, I really hope BAE173 doesn’t fall to it but unfortunately it looks like they have as after their debut, the quality in music dropped severely and they haven’t gotten any success compared to their debut
Momoland got me into Kpop and their music was catchy to me. But I definitely agree that I wouldn’t bring them back after all the drama that happened. Yes, I’ll miss them, and yes it was wasted potential, but all the members decided to leave for a good reason. The company was neglecting them even if they were the reasons the company made money in the first place. The girls didn’t deserve the hate and I get why they would want to leave after many years of mistreatment. Even if I personally didn’t want them to disband, I knew it was for the best. I'd personally bring back Checkmate. They were a co-ed group and at the time, they weren't very popular. But "Drum" and "You" have to be some of the best kpop songs that I've heard. Grace Company, their label, was absolutely horrible to them so I'm so glad that they got out of there. But with the direction that they were going with their music, it was very likely that they would eventually blow up. It wasn't fair to the members, especially with their hard work. I know being a co-ed group in the industry is really hard and the possibility of them being popular domestically wouldn't really be realistic. But I'm 95% sure that they could've developed an international fanbase to keep them afloat. A pretty strong one at that. Their situation was just unfortunate
I can't really think of any groups that weren't mentioned in the video who I wouldn't bring back from disbandment BUT I can think of a few names who should disband for the sake of the members with the most obvious one being LOONA. The members aren't even getting paid and as much as I hate to say it Weki Meki is in a position where they will most likely disband. Their company can't manage them to save their lives.

Groups that I wish I could bring back from disbandment are definitely: 1. 2ne1 They were insanely popular and one of the leading groups of the 2nd gen and YG literally dropped them for Black Pink (no hate against the girls). They didn't even know about their own disbandment until CL received messages with links to news articles that talked about their disbandment. Not to mention that they were treated like absolute trash and dirt under YG's shoes but they have expressed their desire to reunite so many times in the past, I just wish I could bring them back. 2) B.A.P Another insanely popular group and they could have easily been as big as EXO who they debuted alongside with. But they also were treated like worthless garbage by TS and I will never forgive that company for everything they've done to every single one of their artists. But B.A.P is the group I'd bring back in a heartbeat if I could. And next year TS' trademark rights for their name and I believe discography runs out and can be reclaimed and I hope that the members are waiting for that to happen so that they can reunite. Yongguk still has "Leader of B.A.P" in his Twitter bio, the boys spend lots of time together, they've worked with each other after their tragic disbandment and during their last tour they have promised us Babys that it's not the end for B.A.P and that they will come back.
I would have personally brought Gugudan back, because they had amazing songs and very talented vocalists and dancers with a huge potential. As for X1, I wouldn't bring them back, because I didn't like their songs, and my cousin Jungmo was supposed to debut in that group, but Mnet rigged him out, so their disbandment means justice to me.

She was going through steps to sue MLD in order to terminate her contract because the company refused to let her rejoin the group and when she tried to terminate her contract, they said she had to pay them back. Yeonwoo also alleged on a livestream that she didn't leave Momoland and that the company kicked her out of the group. 2021 comes and the group was seemingly being neglected in favor of TFN (T1419 at the time), the company's new boy group and Yeonwoo leaves MLD. Daisy wins her lawsuit and was finally able to not only leave MLD, but also have the company pay her back. After Lapillus debuted, it seemed like MLD didn't need Momoland anymore. Music wise in total from 2020 onward, Momoland released their last EP with 4 songs, a single album with 2 songs, a collaboration with Chromance called Wrap Me in Plastic, & a collaboration with Natti Natasha called Yummy Yummy Love for a total of 8 songs within a 2-year period.
Momoland suffered a lot and deserved a big apology from not only MLD Entertainment, but from Kpop fans in general because during all of this, they became punching bags and were recipients of not only hate comments, but comments sexualizing the group and its members, especially Nancy & Yeonwoo. I'm sorry if I missed a few things or remembered it wrong, but my heart goes out to those girls and I'm just happy that all 9 of them are free.

I would also bring back IOI, they were literally the perfect group... and I heard that their final lineup wasn't rigged, just a few people in like round one. Besides for the impact that already had, given more time to find a concept. I feel like they would've absolutely blown up like Iz*one did. Maybe even bigger as the impact they had originally cannot be understated, so imagine that impact + more time with the girls and group.
I dont think ioi can being biggest than izone...their discography is forgettable or overwhelmed expect very very as hit.

the standard for sales wasn't the same at ALL back then ( kpop wasn't global as it is now and mainly focussed on bg) 300k is a phenomenal selling result for a gg rookie group who lasted 8 month, btw their 2 albums was #2 and #3 in 2016 best selling gg gaon charts, the only gg that managed to surpass them was twice. they achieved so much in only 8 months, and could have been the most impactfull 3rd gen gg
you can't deny that IOI was way more talented that iz*one and ioi weren't only songwritters but some members are composers. ambitious? they were way more than ambitious, and they achieved a lot more than you want to give them credit for. how you can say that IOI didn't have factor members when they have SEJEONG, SOMI, CHUNGHA, CHAEYEON ???!!!! they were way more popular than anyone of iz*one if we compare the activity period of both groups

IOI also came out at a time before international fans really got into kpop back in 2016, while Izone came after 2018 which is when the 3rd hallyu wave really hit… also halfway through their career was Covid. So sales and popularity don’t mean anything because they’re at different points in kpop. 1)Izone had a storyline? 2) I personally feel like they had a great concept… but that’s about it besides for breaking sales records and having people copy the elegant concept for a short bit. How have they truly changed the landscape? Twice and IOI allowed for survival show groups to run and IOI popularized ending fairies. Also, I know sales sounds amazing but here’s my point, someone would’ve come along and done it… they were just able to do it first (I’ve heard this argument used with BTS too… someone would’ve come along and become popular in the US. BTS were just the first to do it).
I do like Izone and I think they’re talented but I think IOI needed more time besides for 1 years. And I hope they do comeback sometime

Apparently BUGABOO only signed a 2 1/2 year contract, so after that, the members decided to leave. I’m honestly grateful that they were given the chance to continue or stay, but i do still miss them.

I miss the post I.O.I groups a lot (PRISTIN 💔), but out of them all I would do anything to bring Gugudan back. They could have been so much more if Jellyfish pushed all the members like they pushed Sejeong, and just tried harder with them with more come-backs instead of a long ass hiatus. They had one of the best discographies ever and let's not even talk about their vocal lines, they were all insanely good! It's been 3 years since their disbandment and I still can't get over it

I did not stan x1 when they debuted but only after their disbandment. It made me absolutely upset, mostly because I watched videos of them at their time in pd and realized how the lineup would have shaken the whole kpop industry. i would do anything, ANYTHING, to bring them back.

I would have loved to see CLC be able to move to another company and retain all of the rights to their stuff but I know that's a VERY big reach to ask of Cube in any stretch of the imagination. I'm happy to see Seungyeon and Sorn reunite under Wild and I hope that good things come from that. I hope that Yujin has success while she's still in Kep1er (Japanese comeback is coming soon, btw) and whatever she does beyond that after. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing Yeeun's solo career because I'm hoping that woman will just explode in popularity. Seunghee, I fear will be pretty much kept in the dungeon of Cube until she decides to leave, unfortunately. I have so very little faith in that company. While I'm sad that Eunbin is also still under that stupid label, I hope that she thrives in her activities as an actress. Elkie at least seems happy being back home and I'm glad for that.
CLC ultimately deserved so much better. So much wasted potential there and it was so sad to see it happen. I'm proud of how hard they fought as a group.

izone did disband but if you think about it they got more recognition even after disbandment because of the groups and soloists with the ex-izone members (ive, le sserafim, yuri, yena, etc.)

i still find it weird that dia flopped after mbk creating huge successful groups. while yes, they failed after the t-ara bullying scandal, it’s just weird how they pushed amazing groups like t-ara, seeya, davichi, supernova and even pushing out some of hong jinyoung’s major hits, yet somehow they failed miserably, and I really think it came from the drama surrounding the t-ara scandal, focusing on trying to shut it out by disbanding co-ed school, debuting dia, and then trying really hard to revive t-ara. mbk wanted t-ara’s success again, but were never going to get it. the way they dragged it out caused the downfall of the company and made many leave the company due to poor management, so really dia was set up to fail from the beginning due to poor management, controversial company, and so much more, I really hope BAE173 doesn’t fall to it but unfortunately it looks like they have as after their debut, the quality in music dropped severely and they haven’t gotten any success compared to their debut
Momoland got me into Kpop and their music was catchy to me. But I definitely agree that I wouldn’t bring them back after all the drama that happened. Yes, I’ll miss them, and yes it was wasted potential, but all the members decided to leave for a good reason. The company was neglecting them even if they were the reasons the company made money in the first place. The girls didn’t deserve the hate and I get why they would want to leave after many years of mistreatment. Even if I personally didn’t want them to disband, I knew it was for the best. Hope the girls get better jobs.

I'd personally bring back Checkmate. They were a co-ed group and at the time, they weren't very popular. But "Drum" and "You" have to be some of the best kpop songs that I've heard. Grace Company, their label, was absolutely horrible to them so I'm so glad that they got out of there. But with the direction that they were going with their music, it was very likely that they would eventually blow up. It wasn't fair to the members, especially with their hard work. I know being a co-ed group in the industry is really hard and the possibility of them being popular domestically wouldn't really be realistic. But I'm 95% sure that they could've developed an international fanbase to keep them afloat. A pretty strong one at that. Their situation was just unfortunate

I can't really think of any groups that weren't mentioned in the video who I wouldn't bring back from disbandment BUT I can think of a few names who should disband for the sake of the members with the most obvious one being LOONA. The members aren't even getting paid and as much as I hate to say it Weki Meki is in a position where they will most likely disband. Their company can't manage them to save their lives.
Yes Loona should absolutely disband, as much as it is sad it’s also the best for all of the members. As for Weki Meki i always hope sooner or later they’ll get more recognition but it never happens, so i wouldn’t be surprised if one day i woke up to their disbandment news…

Groups that I wish I could bring back from disbandment are definitely:
1. 2ne1
They were insanely popular and one of the leading groups of the 2nd gen and YG literally dropped them for Black Pink (no hate against the girls). They didn't even know about their own disbandment until CL received messages with links to news articles that talked about their disbandment. Not to mention that they were treated like absolute trash and dirt under YG's shoes but they have expressed their desire to reunite so many times in the past, I just wish I could bring them back.
2) B.A.P
Another insanely popular group and they could have easily been as big as EXO who they debuted alongside with. But they also were treated like worthless garbage by TS and I will never forgive that company for everything they've done to every single one of their artists. But B.A.P is the group I'd bring back in a heartbeat if I could. And next year TS' trademark rights for their name and I believe discography runs out and can be reclaimed and I hope that the members are waiting for that to happen so that they can reunite. Yongguk still has "Leader of B.A.P" in his Twitter bio, the boys spend lots of time together, they've worked with each other after their tragic disbandment and during their last tour they have promised us Babys that it's not the end for B.A.P and that they will come back.
