You don't look the big picture. You only look a case by case. 1. In the court reveal Kakao Talk history that Min Hee Jin plan to attack Hybe and takeover Ador. She talked to her shaman, a director from Ador (ex. employee of Kakao), former Kakao CEO about it. 2. Kakao CEO arrested by the police because of SM stock manipulation, so Hybe failed to be majority of SM shareholder. 3. SM paid influencer to attack Hybe during stock manipulation. 4. After first press conference from Min Hee Jin, attacking to Hybe increase significantly. 5. There are online forum from Min Hee Jin fans with purpose to manipulate public opinion. 6. Jurnalist who wrote article to manipulate New Jeans sales in Japan, now became the director of Kakao Mobility. 7. Mainstream South Korea media hates Hybe. JTBC wrote fake news about Suga but only recieved light punishment. 8. Min Hee Jin have connection with politician from Democratic party. The politician pressured Hybe. 9. NCT fan pretending to be ARMY and sent protest truck to Hybe for Suga leave BTS. 10. Etc. Do you see the big picture?
Seems like you have missing quite some info here, including the fact that it was MHJ who delay the debut of NJ, not hybe. There are some comments here pointed out this, you can check it out, and maybe correct your point in your future video.
Katseye should be included considering the controversy around Manon, but I don't know many people will want to deal with her fans if you point out fair criticism of her. The situation is a lot like Wonhee's except I actually think Wonhee is more naturally talented. Manon has made numerous mistakes despite technically being trained far longer, depending on how many practices she actually missed since we don't know for sure how much practice she actually went to... regardless, she's missed her opening cue in actual live perfs, not just on variety shows, etc. But then on Weekly Idol, if you watch the vid of them just doing choreo for their episode from just the front camera angle, she's absolutely horrible for most of it... not just a mistake here and there.
You should make one for fromis_9. Their journey is pretty insane if your look into it. Filled with controversy, mistreatment and always getting shafted by any company they are in yet are still top of the charts. Nuts how they are still here after everything

I think MHJ is using NJ as her mouthpiece, which is disgusting really. Also the Lesserafim controversy to me is a non-issue as I don't think it is a coincidence Lesserafim's problems come out just when MHJ start going crazy. The tiktok situation isn't Hybe's doing. MHJ has always been pretty clear in wanting to separate NewJeans from the rest of the Hybe groups even before this whole MHJ vs Hybe incident began. She's the one who refuses to allow the girls to do tiktoks with the other Hybe groups (including the newer ones like TWS, BND, and &TEAM) outside of the few that they have done with the BTS members, some SVT members, and some TXT & Enhypen members. She is also the one who wanted NewJeans to have their own separate communication App called 'Phoning' so the group wouldn't have to be on Weverse. And then let's not forget the recent Hybe x Grammy's Museum incident, where she rejected to have NewJeans showcased in the museum like the other Hybe groups because she believed that NewJeans (a rookie group) deserves to have a more prominent & bigger section of the museum than BTS & Seventeen (the two biggest groups in Hybe, and longest active groups in Hybe), and Bang Pd (the literal founder of Hybe), and because Grammys refused to allow that (for valid reasons) she declined to have NewJeans be showcased there. I am not a Hybe supporter, but it has been very clear that the person who has indeed been actively trying to separate the girls from the rest of Hybe is Min Heejin. Like, why are you (MHJ & the NJ) shocked that people in the same building as you do not want to interact with or be around you when you yourself have gone to great lengths to separate yourself from them from the start? Did MHJ "say" that she wanted NJ to have "a more prominent section of the museum" or is it "assumed" that is why she did not want to participate? All HYBE said was that each subsidiary had the choice to participate or not and ADOR chose not to go. Neither ADOR nor HYBE gave further explanation on the subject but stans sure did and those speculations have now turned into facts. MHJ did say that she did not want NJ to use some of HYBE more shadowy accounting schemes to tweak sales and she did not want the girls to just sit around; she wanted them to tour to gain performance experience and up their popularity numbers. That being said, I don't remember MHJ "saying" that she keeps NJ away from other HYBE groups purposely; again is it just "assumed" because it is the only "logical" explanation that conveniently makes her the problem everyone wants her to be? As for Weverse: when HYBE bought and banished VLive (a more superior app used by rival label groups) and offered Weverse to the industry as an alternative, other labels, if they could afford it, chose to have their own communication app to avoid having their content hijacked by the company (the groups lost all of their content (years worth) to new owner HYBE). Seeing that it is now an industry standard for a successful/profitable label to control its own communication app ADOR having its own app is not so strange. Seems everyone has a problem with MHJ exerting decision making control over ADOR, its operations, its content, its brand, and the direction of its talent even though she was made CEO to do just that.

NJ did dance challenges with BTS members but also MHJ complained the NJ members were in a BTS video before debut. You can't have it both ways. NJ is mainly seen with other agency idols. MHJ seems to have wanted to isolate NJ from HYBE from the beginning, they don't even use WeVerse they developed their own. It sort of validates the idea of MHJ's plan to takeover Ador and leave HYBE with NJ

for those who are confused, the gap between fromis latest comeback and the comeback before that was not just long but also controversial on its own rights. in a run about way, its a ploy to waste time and just wait till the group's contract ended. it took multiple members with individual live streams to vocalize their concerns, with one member being straight forward with her words, then an organize protests by the fans was held. even with that, the only reason hybe really responded was mostly because all their other girl groups are already on fire and they needed to control fromis and flovers as swift as possible. that comeback, though i am super thankful for it and i consider it as one of the best fromis album, that album was hurriedly done. which proves further that there really was no plans for fromis_9 for the entirety of 2024. there were no pre-selected tracks, no planned concert or guestings, contents were drying down quick, nothing. "but they just had a comeback womp womp" and thats the thing, if flover dont continuously pressure hybe, theres nothing anymore again and its another race to waste time till the contract ends if that winter comeback dont come.....

As an ex-kpop fan…one of the main things that contributed to me no longer being apart of the fandom was this toxicity right here!! If you go by facts, its clear that nwjns debut was much much more expensive than lsfm's debut. Lsfm got only 1 MV for their debut EP and that too was filmed in a gym whereas nwjns got 6 MVs for their debut EP and many of them were filmed oversees. They also got their own app called 'phoning'. So the question is, why would hybe spend so much money on a girl group they don't think will succeed?? Also it was MHJ herself who isolated nwjns from other hybe group. You call New Jeans "ostracized" but it was Min Hee Jin who decided this and didn't want her group attached to any other group within HYBE. She even had HYBE create a different app for New Jeans instead of them using Weverse like everyone else. Her plan from the start was to use HYBE'S money to establish her own label and remove it from under them.

i think the reason the Coachella performance for Le Sserafim was such a big deal was because a lot of kpop fans are getting much more critical with companies debuting idols who aren’t ready simply for visuals. obviously, this has existed since the beginning of kpop, but it has become a much more prevalent issue in 4th and 5th gen than it was in other generations. a lot of fans, especially international fans, are tired of hearing “they’re improving” when these idols should have improved already. it’s the entire point of training. so, when Le Sserafim comes out on stage and bombs, everyone uses it as further evidence of how the kpop industry has begun to promote visuals far more than singing, dancing, or rapping. i’m not blaming Le Sserafim entirely for this, but this is just one of the main reasons i saw that people felt far more passionate about this than other idols who can’t sing.
It's also just unfair bc a lot of nugu groups have insane vocals, they wouldn't survive without at least a few outstanding vocalists (see Mamamoo who only had their vocals to get further). But these groups will never ever get the chance to even look at Coachella. Aespa got a lot of hate too for their performance but at least they could sing and got insanely good over the last year. And the criticism towards Le Sserafim was actually mostly valid. It's harsh for the members but I felt like they didn't see anything wrong with their singing. I felt like this was a thing where the company just blamed all the "bad haters" whilst not working on the group sound and singing at all. It just left a bad taste in my mouth bc companies just LOVE to mix us in with genuine idiots. Like when you criticise the debut of idols under 18 but people call *you* a weirdo? To add to the insult, they won a few music shows with Crazy but didn't even do any encores bc they knew it was gonna be bad (they smartly scheduled the US activities during the time). Like do Hybe fans even understand that many groups don't get that many wins to improve? But Hybe stans seem to be the most entitled anyway, the NJ situation has shown it pretty well. It seems to be a general issue with the training that Hybe idols can't sing but it's not like the label can't change that. Source produced Gfriend. this is where Kpop fans get it wrong with Le Sserafim and Coachella. you guys say they bombed, but the people who where in Coachella said they where great. people already had biased opinion of Le Sserafim and the hate train was fresh during that time. no matter how good they where, people will only clip parts that sounded bad
This doesn't mean that the hate they received was deserved at all though (hate, not criticism- which was deserved). An even larger issue is kpop fans being unable to distinguish between literal bullying and criticism, and Le Sserafim's case isn't the first time this happened. Look at the hate trains against aespa, Itzy, and IVE in 2021, 2022, and 2023 respectively. aespa was criticized for not singing live, having poor stage presence, and Giselle for saying a racial slur during "Savage" era. What started off as criticism turned into comments about Giselle's body and appearance, completely false rumors about Karina and Winter's pre-debut era, and racist comments toward Ningning from Korean netizens. In Itzy's case, what started off as criticism for "Sneakers" and "Boys Like You" as songs turned into very gross comments about Yuna's body, Chaeryeong's appearance, Lia's dancing and singing, and Ryujin's vocal tone. All four of them got d- threats over two songs that people didn't like. Lia had to go on a 10-month hiatus after being diagnosed with anxiety disorder because of all that, and people called her a "baby" and "childish". In IVE's case, Wonyoung was called a "pick-me" just like Yuna and also received threats for literally acting cutely, and all the other members except Liz were criticized (but of course, later bullied) for their poor live singing. All of these disgusting comments and posts towards these people got millions of views and likes. It's so blatantly obvious kpop fans need a girl group (never a boy group) to scrutinize and bully every year. What's the point of bullying innocent people and masking actually valid criticism like that? What was the goal of all these hate trains then? This year it was Le Sserafim and ILLIT's turn, next year it'll be someone else. Why does nobody learn from history? What if something worse could've happened to Lia? Criticism is given with the intent of wanting someone to improve, and 70% of what I saw happening towards aespa, Itzy, IVE, Le Sserafim, and ILLIT was not criticism. The fact that Le Sserafim and ILLIT get more hate than Taeil, a literal criminal, is wild.
I would like to add that Hybe did make a statement about why Newjeans moved to Ador. They claim, that the group was ready to go and intended to debut as a 7 member group in the 3rd quater of 2021. Because MHJ was the creative director and thus owned all the copyright, she had to sign off on this debut. At the same time, Sakura and Chaewon joined the company and Source started working on a new group for them to be in which was at the time known as Team S. However MHJ had decided at this time, that as she belived she was doing all the work for NJ that she should get more out of her contract, she threatened to leave with nothing and continued to delay the debut of the group, which caused Hybe to finally give in and give her the sub label she so wanted. However where the conflict comes in is that Source was promised to debut the first Hybe girl group, which is the main reason they abruptly disbanded GFriend. Source music execs were obviously pissed that all their resources going to waste and so pushed the debut of Le Sserafim up, and to honour this contract made with Source, Hybe insisted that MHJ wasn't allowed to debut her group until after Source music. This would have caused more animosity between the labels if Ador was sitting on a girl group waiting on source and so Le Sserafim ended up being rushed, which is arguably why the Garam scandal was as big as it was and some of the girls lack training upon debut. Then MHJ was very shading and jumped straight onto the debut as soon as she was able, skipping the pre-debut period and even the debut announcement.
I didn't even know that but I had predicted ( just recently)that they had to had problems before debut and was already at each other throats before this situation because they came out of nowhere and hybe usually do countdowns for debuts on their main channel and maybe since then ,they haven't been on good terms with mhj and new jeans , and I predicted mhj prob wanted to debut nwjns at a different time than hybe terms and went ahead and did it by herself
I do get so annoyed when folks wanna bring up Coachella but majority who do (fyi, not talking about this content creator) they admit they never watched the entire 40 minute performance. They admit they never saw how well they started and only choked towards the end with two songs. It wasn’t that bad and they’ve all proven they can sing. Plenty of times but esp recently. And folks refuse to accept that. The improvements were mostly breathing stability and not going so damn hard on choreography. LE SSERAFIM have never been one to release music that were ONLY vocally driven. At all. It’s like, every album there’s a song that’s vocally driven but that’s not what they do for their title tracks. Talking shit without doing your own research and not listening to the hate train would mean actually using your brain and critical thinking skills. Kazuha has such a beautiful voice. Eunchae has such a beautiful tone. Sakura doubts herself because people don’t know how to guide her in the right way but she also has such a great voice. Yunjin and Chaewon are beyond amazing at what they do. Proven once again, time after time after time. Illit deserved NONE of the hate they got. Idc if you think their vocals are crap (which if you did your research, you’d see that isn’t true), it does NOT warrant the disgusting hatred they received. And when it comes to MHJ and hybe - MHJ is worse. She laid out all her plans and it was exposed.. people have hated that woman since she was in SM but my gah what people forget on purpose is mind blowing I tell ya. Can I just say...99% of groups don't even get the chance to have such a terrible Coachella performance, bc they don't have the connections and money to attend. They also don't get the chance of like 30 encores to show their improved singing (which conveniently wasn't done for Crazy as they were in the US). Just something to think about. So happy that they improve, but a nugu group would've not made it with those skills. Looking left and right can sometimes really help to put things into perspective. I do agree on NJ but don't even get into that drama. It'll make you mad. The fans have learnt from the best, MHJ. I choose an aleatory video of Coachella. It was third hand embarrasment. And I doubt that if they can not sing standing they could sing dancing. Then, what most of people that defend them is ignoring is the letter of Sakura and the middle finger. That is what broke all hell loose. If that is their answer toward people talking about an awful performance, before that point things were bussiness as usual, only their fans were expecting them to slay that stage but they did that... I need to know no more about them and their personalities. Funny, most idols after a mistake cry, apologize towards their fans and promise to work on it. I think the first two are not necesary. Most idols usually do not trow middle fingers to the people that paid a small fortune to watch a third hand embarrasment stage. I can not even imagine to do that to any of my clients even when they are being rude and insulting me for something over that I have no power or inference. That is the problem with those women, not the lack of skills nor the clear rise of fame powered by the millions of Hybe, it is their attitude. MHJ just trowed fuel to it. Do I hate them? No but, I have no sympaty for them neither, over the point of their lack of skills, I would never condone them nor anyone to be hated for the convinience of people more powerfull than them.
I think MHJ wanted to separate NJ from Hybe from the beginning after conflict from debut. And it seems she has fed to the girls and the parents from the beginning that Hybe hates them and is out to get them. But if that was the case they wouldn't have set up ADOR to begin with. BPD may have been prideful but so is MHJ. She wants to do it all herself. Other Hybe group members were listening to, promoting NJ in their own ways before all this, I think she just didn't want them to be associated with the company in anyway. If she really cared about NJ, she would be encouraging them to move on without her and supporting them from afar but she hasn't and remind them issues they have occurred when SHE was the CEO.
The evidence that shew as trying to leave was deemed insufficient by the judge. Why are you guys still pushing this? If BPD is prideful, what makes you think that he would treat them any better after all of this? If she really cared about the girls she would try to fight and make sure that they are treated well within the company after all this, even if it means destroying her public image like you guys are doing now lol. And the girls know that without her, their initial vision of the group would be tainted by whatever HYBE is planning for them. HYBE can never achieve the same legacy/achievements for NewJeans that MHJ did and the girls know that, they weren't "taught" anything.
BPD is a very jealous and envious person. He supported MHJ initially but became angry when NJ was so successful thanks to MHJ despite the fact that he sees her as being lesser than himself. "Why should someone lesser than me be more successful?" This is the thought process of somebody entitled and envious. Inheriting wealth and position does not create competence, only hard work does. The amount of envy this guy has caused him to act in ways characteristic of a small person. If he wants to feel valuable, all he can do is be more honest with himself and accept reality instead of creating problems for people he is jealous of. This can only lead to more suffering

Maybe you're trying to be as unbiased as possible so you mention Min Hee Jin's version of events, but let's stick to facts here. Everything she has accused and claimed (Source Music LSF), there is no evidence. Hybe on the other hand, has consistently shown evidence after evidence of everything they accuse her of doing. She tried and failed to do a hostile takeover of Ador, that's a fact. She knew exactly what she was doing when threw the red meat, which was that ILLIT is copying New Jeans. This has served as a giant distraction from the main issue at hand, which is that she tried and failed in her takeover and that's why she's now thrown out onto the street. She's now encountering a new world where she is no longer in control at Ador, and she's trying desperately to try and rewind, and dragging the New Jeans members in for that end.

The thing with Coachella is that every Korean artist who performed there this year has shared how difficult it was. Ateez said they were hyperventilating after their set. The Rose just shared that the desert was so hard that their throat were closing up after their first song. Yes, Le Sserafim aren’t the strongest group vocally, but that’s not the main reason why people enjoy their performances. Their energy, stage presence and strong performances are why they are loved and invited to Coachella. I didn’t expect them to go to Coachella and sing like Mamamoo because that’s not their strength. I knew they would bring the hype energy and the live audience would have a great time and they did. They have now quietly worked hard to improve their performance skills and manage their energy to have the stamina and be vocally strong throughout their sets always using handheld mics.

The whole MHJ scandal is WILD. Like every day you hear a new thing she said and just sit there and go "Well she's not going to win people over with that." To be honest, I find the Hybe-Min Heejin situation hilarious. I think they're both saying the truth about eachother: Min Heejin did try to get outside investors, Bang PD was jealous of her. I think they’re just bad at managing in general. Their claim to fame is BTS. Every group after that has gained attention for solely being under the BTS label. BTS essentially don’t need management because their fandom will eat literally anything up, but that’s because they’re an established senior group now. HYBE has waaaaaay too many new groups (under 3 years old) at the same time, which already shows bad management. They wanted to dominate the industry quickly instead of over time.

Fromis9 is still going strong with no Huge controversies. The only thing I can think of was some rigging in the lineup since they are from a survival show but multiple survival show groups are like that so I don't think it's too huge. The only bad thing is how they don't have many comebacks. They are neglected which is ironic since they are the least problematic HYBE girl group, but I assume it could be more of a PLEDIS problem and not a HYBE problem.

If a person feel mistreated in their job they have to talk and sale this, if you keep quiete you just allow this to keep happen to you and to other poeple. Brand deals can only get you so far as a K-pop idol and I hope ppl realize that. NJ are no Bp, they cannot just rely on brand deals and fashion, they need a very solid strong backing. From what I’ve seen, they have a lot of older male fans. This scandal or whatever has aged the group, meaning in K-pop there is a peak time when you’re hot HOT, they were in their stride. Very early. This has aged them, it’s evident with certain things if you look at it unbiased. That’s just fanbase wise though, in the general public, they still do ok but not as well as before. The next cb may change that. None of this is shade, just sharing what I’ve noticed.

MHJ version of this story at the 22 mark makes no sense. Bang couldn't of went behind MHJ's back and signed Sakura. She wasn't actually signed to SouMu until Sept 2021. Chaewon was signed in Oct 2021 since her contract with Woolim Entertainment wasn't over yet. Newjeans, aka N team, had already left to the Ador sublabel by this point in time.
Something I will never understand about K-pop companies is the concept of disbanding a group in order to debut a new one. Like, has no one told them they can keep both groups? You can make more money with two successful groups instead of one? Am I missing something here? Because I genuinely don’t get the logic. 😂
New Jeans were arguably the most commercially pushed K-pop group of all time. They debuted as the little sisters of BTS (kind of a huge deal), having plenty of brand deals, and their faces were plastered on everything in SK. Their success benefits HYBE, which is why the company invested so much into them. Unfortunately, they believe their entire success is due to MHJ...which is just weird. A whole team of people contributed to their success by writing, producing, choreographing, promoting, and so on. The fact that New Jeans refuses to function without MHJ and are being overtly hostile towards HYBE's employees and artists is unacceptable.
I personally think they have a mother connection to MHJ. Also MHJ believed in them and the fact that hybe pushed back their debut for leseraafim is crazy cause as a trainee you’ll be hurt as hell. Yes, I very much agree! The multi-label system would be fine if there weren’t so many. Owning the initial three or four might have been okay, but they seem to add a new label almost every time they want to debut a new group. I don't think they've gone a year without debuting a new label/group since the reatructuring into Hybe. Not even SM or JYP would dare to debut groups as often as Hybe has over the past five years. This can't be sustainable for either the company staff, the industry, or the fans.
You have presented a very one-sided and unproved opinions, which many will disagree with you. MHJ’s actions have deemed her to be unethical and her malicious maneuvers are disgusting. NJ have been brainwashed by MHJ, and she is using NJ to achieve her own devices. Even NJ parents have let their children remain under MHJ, after the horrible things MHJ stated in her text messages about NJ. Now to the bullying to Hanni: Hanni X-CEO started and continues to bring all these issues onto the 'daughters' she is supposed to love. If this incident happened, it might have been rude (with justification of how horrible things were said about their groups from this X-CEO), so it could be that a manager was trying to shield their group member with from ongoing negative issues, which would be the manager's responsibility. Bullying can go both ways, and Hanni needs to review her X-CEO comments, and their own video giving bullying ultimantions to HYBE management. Mistakenly so, but NJ is bullying in their own way, as directed by their X-CEO.
Seems to me the curse is really a blessing, especially for Le Sserafim as they break into the US and Europe. Singing live with energy at Coachella earned them a lot of respect in the US from those who know Kpop is all lip-synch and brand deals. The Hybe groups are all getting stronger.

The sad thing about vocal hate is ALL the groups use autotune, pitch correction lip syncing, etc. and “live” just means the person was alive at the time of recording. If you watch some vocal coach/performance evaluation channels one guy picked a random K-pop “live” performance from a group we all know. Using technology the computer could not even recognize a natural human voice in the performance. I’m not saying they can’t sing, I’m saying they aren’t singing naturally without enhancement. Pretty sad. Everyone should do better.

The first time I heard Illit, I loved their music (I still do, guilty pleasure) because I thiught they sounded very much like NJ. I thought it was NJ he first time i heard it lol. Very fresh, very light. So I was surprised when I discovered they are from the same parent company...do you know the only instances when a company does a "copy" of their own group? 1. When the group has disbanded. 2. When the group is flopping. ...none of which applies to NJ so Illit's concept similarity is because Hybe has been planning this all along. I think they are mad ar MHJ for veto-ing their "suggestions", so when she held a meeting telling Belift and Hybe they cannot go on with the same concept, Belift and Hybe said NO 😂😂 I wouldnt be so guilty loving Illit's music if it was a Nugu from another company or just even if they were a group from another company. Cause concepts can be shared, heck, MHJ should be flattered cause her vision is leading a trend BUT I know she knows she was about to be trashed away.

Look into all her texts and emails with her former vice president. And no the texts are not fabricated, they were vetted and accepted by the court as evidence. In the court ruling the judge said "it is evident that min was trying to weaken Hybe's position on Ador". Also mhj didn't deny the texts, she just said it was invasion of privacy.
So basically, it's not that HYBE has a "girl group curse"; they're just awful at managing their girlgroups and put them into even more controversy rather than helping to deal with the controversies they already had. It's a shame, because NewJeans and Le Sserafim have released some amazing songs since they debuted.

a lot of the time, part of me feels not that much older than these kpop idols. it wasn't so long ago that i was a teenager and all my emotions were running high. but i'm an adult now in my late twenties, and looking back at what i know know... frankly, it's kind of weird how intertwined Min Hee Jin is with newjeans. she's a grown woman and they're all 20 and under rn. i can tell they care about her and i'm glad they are using their voices to advocate for themselves, since so many times idols are just forced to stay quiet when they're unhappy. but also... their whole livestream creeped me out a little. does newjeans not have any identity without MHJ? it comes across like she's manipulating them bc what kind of adult uses a group of mostly teenagers to advocate for herself?? shouldn't she be keeping them out of this mess if *she* truly cares about *them?*
I don't support any of these groups because of the underaged members but they all deserve better. MHJ is especially disappointing because of what we know about misogyny in South Korea; she could have tried to protect and uplift NJ instead of weaponizing them like this. They're the second best among their active GGs (1st being fromis) in HYBE thanks to their decent main vocal but it's really the confidence that's getting to them, especially Sakura who's just as good, or bad, (whichever is fine) as any other sub vocalists you'd see. But it's her lack of confidence that makes her seem, or sound, worse, than she really is. A lot of sub vocalists out there with 0 technique easily sound better than her and it's all because of confidence In other words, the barrier the group is facing is purely mental, (and the hate they receive ain't helping either) not vocal training cause otherwise, most groups rn would be in trouble hahaha
Ironically enough, the way that HYBE is choosing to handle it plays into MHJ's supposed plan. If she wanted to destroy HYBE's stock as they claim and get NewJeans out, this is exactly what she would have hoped for. It's hilarious truly. Katseye had only controversy on their Netflix Documentary Dreamstar academy! it was a speed bump but ever since its been smooth sailing. since their debut they Had 100 million streams and counting especially their 2nd single Touch. Katseye will become the next big thing under Hybe Label.
That controversy was definitely a tactic to attract more people and worked very well. It also got cleared easily by a few funny posts on Instagram by members.

I guess thats the work of HYBE Labels and Geffen but mostly Hybe. because of the influence and Le Serrafim as well and even Troubled group under sub label Ador, New Jeans did influence some of their music with no bridge on their songs. better success will come for Katseye. but it is unfortunate for VCHA, I dont know what happen to them.

JTBC wrote fake news about Suga but only recieved light punishment. 8. Min Hee Jin have connection with politician from Democratic party. The politician pressured Hybe. 9. Seems like you have missing quite some info here, including the fact that it was MHJ who delay the debut of NJ, not hybe. There are some comments here pointed out this, you can check it out, and maybe correct your point in your future video.
Katseye should be included considering the controversy around Manon, but I don't know many people will want to deal with her fans if you point out fair criticism of her. The situation is a lot like Wonhee's except I actually think Wonhee is more naturally talented.
Manon has made numerous mistakes despite technically being trained far longer, depending on how many practices she actually missed since we don't know for sure how much practice she actually went to... regardless, she's missed her opening cue in actual live perfs, not just on variety shows, etc. But then on Weekly Idol, if you watch the vid of them just doing choreo for their episode from just the front camera angle, she's absolutely horrible for most of it... not just a mistake here and there.

The tiktok situation isn't Hybe's doing. MHJ has always been pretty clear in wanting to separate NewJeans from the rest of the Hybe groups even before this whole MHJ vs Hybe incident began. She's the one who refuses to allow the girls to do tiktoks with the other Hybe groups (including the newer ones like TWS, BND, and &TEAM) outside of the few that they have done with the BTS members, some SVT members, and some TXT & Enhypen members. She is also the one who wanted NewJeans to have their own separate communication App called 'Phoning' so the group wouldn't have to be on Weverse. And then let's not forget the recent Hybe x Grammy's Museum incident, where she rejected to have NewJeans showcased in the museum like the other Hybe groups because she believed that NewJeans (a rookie group) deserves to have a more prominent & bigger section of the museum than BTS & Seventeen (the two biggest groups in Hybe, and longest active groups in Hybe), and Bang Pd (the literal founder of Hybe), and because Grammys refused to allow that (for valid reasons) she declined to have NewJeans be showcased there.
I am not a Hybe supporter, but it has been very clear that the person who has indeed been actively trying to separate the girls from the rest of Hybe is Min Heejin.

Like, why are you (MHJ & the NJ) shocked that people in the same building as you do not want to interact with or be around you when you yourself have gone to great lengths to separate yourself from them from the start? Did MHJ "say" that she wanted NJ to have "a more prominent section of the museum" or is it "assumed" that is why she did not want to participate? All HYBE said was that each subsidiary had the choice to participate or not and ADOR chose not to go. Neither ADOR nor HYBE gave further explanation on the subject but stans sure did and those speculations have now turned into facts.
MHJ did say that she did not want NJ to use some of HYBE more shadowy accounting schemes to tweak sales and she did not want the girls to just sit around; she wanted them to tour to gain performance experience and up their popularity numbers. That being said, I don't remember MHJ "saying" that she keeps NJ away from other HYBE groups purposely; again is it just "assumed" because it is the only "logical" explanation that conveniently makes her the problem everyone wants her to be?
As for Weverse: when HYBE bought and banished VLive (a more superior app used by rival label groups) and offered Weverse to the industry as an alternative, other labels, if they could afford it, chose to have their own communication app to avoid having their content hijacked by the company (the groups lost all of their content (years worth) to new owner HYBE). Seeing that it is now an industry standard for a successful/profitable label to control its own communication app ADOR having its own app is not so strange.
Seems everyone has a problem with MHJ exerting decision making control over ADOR, its operations, its content, its brand, and the direction of its talent even though she was made CEO to do just that.

NJ did dance challenges with BTS members but also MHJ complained the NJ members were in a BTS video before debut. You can't have it both ways. NJ is mainly seen with other agency idols. Since many V Live videos were owned by different entertainment agencies, Weverse couldn’t automatically transfer everything without specific permissions or contracts from each agency involved.

for those who are confused, the gap between fromis latest comeback and the comeback before that was not just long but also controversial on its own rights. in a run about way, its a ploy to waste time and just wait till the group's contract ended.
it took multiple members with individual live streams to vocalize their concerns, with one member being straight forward with her words, then an organize protests by the fans was held.
even with that, the only reason hybe really responded was mostly because all their other girl groups are already on fire and they needed to control fromis and flovers as swift as possible.
that comeback, though i am super thankful for it and i consider it as one of the best fromis album, that album was hurriedly done. which proves further that there really was no plans for fromis_9 for the entirety of 2024. there were no pre-selected tracks, no planned concert or guestings, contents were drying down quick, nothing.

If you go by facts, its clear that nwjns debut was much much more expensive than lsfm's debut. Lsfm got only 1 MV for their debut EP and that too was filmed in a gym whereas nwjns got 6 MVs for their debut EP and many of them were filmed oversees. They also got their own app called 'phoning'.
So the question is, why would hybe spend so much money on a girl group they don't think will succeed??

i think the reason the Coachella performance for Le Sserafim was such a big deal was because a lot of kpop fans are getting much more critical with companies debuting idols who aren’t ready simply for visuals. obviously, this has existed since the beginning of kpop, but it has become a much more prevalent issue in 4th and 5th gen than it was in other generations. a lot of fans, especially international fans, are tired of hearing “they’re improving” when these idols should have improved already. it’s the entire point of training. so, when Le Sserafim comes out on stage and bombs, everyone uses it as further evidence of how the kpop industry has begun to promote visuals far more than singing, dancing, or rapping. i’m not blaming Le Sserafim entirely for this, but this is just one of the main reasons i saw that people felt far more passionate about this than other idols who can’t sing.
It's also just unfair bc a lot of nugu groups have insane vocals, they wouldn't survive without at least a few outstanding vocalists (see Mamamoo who only had their vocals to get further). But these groups will never ever get the chance to even look at Coachella. Aespa got a lot of hate too for their performance but at least they could sing and got insanely good over the last year. And the criticism towards Le Sserafim was actually mostly valid. It's harsh for the members but I felt like they didn't see anything wrong with their singing. I felt like this was a thing where the company just blamed all the "bad haters" whilst not working on the group sound and singing at all. It just left a bad taste in my mouth bc companies just LOVE to mix us in with genuine idiots. Like when you criticise the debut of idols under 18 but people call *you* a weirdo?
To add to the insult, they won a few music shows with Crazy but didn't even do any encores bc they knew it was gonna be bad (they smartly scheduled the US activities during the time). this is where Kpop fans get it wrong with Le Sserafim and Coachella. you guys say they bombed, but the people who where in Coachella said they where great. people already had biased opinion of Le Sserafim and the hate train was fresh during that time. no matter how good they where, people will only clip parts that sounded bad

This doesn't mean that the hate they received was deserved at all though (hate, not criticism- which was deserved). An even larger issue is kpop fans being unable to distinguish between literal bullying and criticism, and Le Sserafim's case isn't the first time this happened. Look at the hate trains against aespa, Itzy, and IVE in 2021, 2022, and 2023 respectively. aespa was criticized for not singing live, having poor stage presence, and Giselle for saying a racial slur during "Savage" era. What started off as criticism turned into comments about Giselle's body and appearance, completely false rumors about Karina and Winter's pre-debut era, and racist comments toward Ningning from Korean netizens. In Itzy's case, what started off as criticism for "Sneakers" and "Boys Like You" as songs turned into very gross comments about Yuna's body, Chaeryeong's appearance, Lia's dancing and singing, and Ryujin's vocal tone. All four of them got d- threats over two songs that people didn't like. Lia had to go on a 10-month hiatus after being diagnosed with anxiety disorder because of all that, and people called her a "baby" and "childish". In IVE's case, Wonyoung was called a "pick-me" just like Yuna and also received threats for literally acting cutely, and all the other members except Liz were criticized (but of course, later bullied) for their poor live singing. All of these disgusting comments and posts towards these people got millions of views and likes. It's so blatantly obvious kpop fans need a girl group (never a boy group) to scrutinize and bully every year. What's the point of bullying innocent people and masking actually valid criticism like that? What was the goal of all these hate trains then? This year it was Le Sserafim and ILLIT's turn, next year it'll be someone else. Why does nobody learn from history? What if something worse could've happened to Lia? Criticism is given with the intent of wanting someone to improve, and 70% of what I saw happening towards aespa, Itzy, IVE, Le Sserafim, and ILLIT was not criticism. The fact that Le Sserafim and ILLIT get more hate than Taeil, a literal criminal, is wild.
I would like to add that Hybe did make a statement about why Newjeans moved to Ador. They claim, that the group was ready to go and intended to debut as a 7 member group in the 3rd quater of 2021. Because MHJ was the creative director and thus owned all the copyright, she had to sign off on this debut. At the same time, Sakura and Chaewon joined the company and Source started working on a new group for them to be in which was at the time known as Team S. However MHJ had decided at this time, that as she belived she was doing all the work for NJ that she should get more out of her contract, she threatened to leave with nothing and continued to delay the debut of the group, which caused Hybe to finally give in and give her the sub label she so wanted. However where the conflict comes in is that Source was promised to debut the first Hybe girl group, which is the main reason they abruptly disbanded GFriend. Source music execs were obviously pissed that all their resources going to waste and so pushed the debut of Le Sserafim up, and to honour this contract made with Source, Hybe insisted that MHJ wasn't allowed to debut her group until after Source music. This would have caused more animosity between the labels if Ador was sitting on a girl group waiting on source and so Le Sserafim ended up being rushed, which is arguably why the Garam scandal was as big as it was and some of the girls lack training upon debut. Then MHJ was very shading and jumped straight onto the debut as soon as she was able, skipping the pre-debut period and even the debut announcement.
If New Jeans debut in 2021 and included 7 members the issues retaining the amount of under age members would of been alot worse then it was before

I do get so annoyed when folks wanna bring up Coachella but majority who do (fyi, not talking about this content creator) they admit they never watched the entire 40 minute performance. They admit they never saw how well they started and only choked towards the end with two songs. It wasn’t that bad and they’ve all proven they can sing. Plenty of times but esp recently. And folks refuse to accept that. The improvements were mostly breathing stability and not going so damn hard on choreography. LE SSERAFIM have never been one to release music that were ONLY vocally driven. At all. It’s like, every album there’s a song that’s vocally driven but that’s not what they do for their title tracks. Talking shit without doing your own research and not listening to the hate train would mean actually using your brain and critical thinking skills. Kazuha has such a beautiful voice. Eunchae has such a beautiful tone. Sakura doubts herself because people don’t know how to guide her in the right way but she also has such a great voice. Yunjin and Chaewon are beyond amazing at what they do. Proven once again, time after time after time. Illit deserved NONE of the hate they got. Idc if you think their vocals are crap (which if you did your research, you’d see that isn’t true), it does NOT warrant the disgusting hatred they received. And when it comes to MHJ and hybe - MHJ is worse. She laid out all her plans and it was exposed.. people have hated that woman since she was in SM but my gah what people forget on purpose is mind blowing I tell ya. Hybe could do so much better in a lot of areas no doubt but MHJ is worse. And I’m glad she’s not winning, not getting her way. And I have zero sympathy for newjeans these days. I wish for hybe to clean itself up, make things better for all… sure as hell doesn’t mean I don’t see MHJ for what she is. Idk why her past isn’t coming back to haunt her but she is going against hybe and folks have wished for their downfall since hybe was created. MHJ can try but she will fail. Esp seeing as she can’t stop talking. I’ll be glad when all of this is over and legally done too. And like I said, show me actual proof of both doing something they shouldn’t have - I’ll listen. I don’t care for “I think..” or “I feel..”. I want facts. And hybe has more of those than MHJ. Which is wild cuz she started this and her proof has been almost not even existed. Can I just say...99% of groups don't even get the chance to have such a terrible Coachella performance, bc they don't have the connections and money to attend. They also don't get the chance of like 30 encores to show their improved singing (which conveniently wasn't done for Crazy as they were in the US). Just something to think about. So happy that they improve, but a nugu group would've not made it with those skills. Looking left and right can sometimes really help to put things into perspective.
I do agree on NJ but don't even get into that drama. It'll make you mad. The fans have learnt from the best, MHJ. Hybe money is good enough to catapult them to the top, but once MHJ doesn't get her way it's suddenly bad. I legit saw people saying they would've made it this big without Hybe. But I don't blame them, many don't understand how investments work. Especially Hybe stans that have to get used to being big 4 and still talk like they're an underdog company. I think they just reappointed MHJ as a director? Honestly she probably can't sue but her contract must be good or they are afraid of something, bc otherwise she's a PR nightmare not worth keeping. NJ activities are halted now too so what's the point? Well NJ is bound to the company so maybe they're afraid that once they kick MHJ out completely it'll go down. It's a lose lose, imo they probably wanna sit this out until ILLIT is as big and NJ kinda forgotten (people did get bored with their sound already), so that they can then disband them once the contract is over.
The other options are not as great, letting members go would be terrible as they could re-form and make money with Hybe not getting anything from their investment, but cutting MHJ loose will probably make her go completely off the rails (if that's even possible). It's a lose lose for Hybe, but honestly since bunnies hate them anyway they can do whatever (bunnies that have stayed, I saw many leaving the fandom after the slander of Le Sserafim and ILLIT).

TLDR
I choose an aleatory video of Coachella. It was third hand embarrasment. And I doubt that if they can not sing standing they could sing dancing. Then, what most of people that defend them is ignoring is the letter of Sakura and the middle finger. That is what broke all hell loose. If that is their answer toward people talking about an awful performance, before that point things were bussiness as usual, only their fans were expecting them to slay that stage but they did that... I need to know no more about them and their personalities.
Funny, most idols after a mistake cry, apologize towards their fans and promise to work on it. I think the first two are not necesary. Most idols usually do not trow middle fingers to the people that paid a small fortune to watch a third hand embarrasment stage. I can not even imagine to do that to any of my clients even when they are being rude and insulting me for something over that I have no power or inference. That is the problem with those women, not the lack of skills nor the clear rise of fame powered by the millions of Hybe, it is their attitude. MHJ just trowed fuel to it.

I think MHJ wanted to separate NJ from Hybe from the beginning after conflict from debut. And it seems she has fed to the girls and the parents from the beginning that Hybe hates them and is out to get them. But if that was the case they wouldn't have set up ADOR to begin with. BPD may have been prideful but so is MHJ. She wants to do it all herself. Other Hybe group members were listening to, promoting NJ in their own ways before all this, I think she just didn't want them to be associated with the company in anyway. If she really cared about NJ, she would be encouraging them to move on without her and supporting them from afar but she hasn't and remind them issues they have occurred when SHE was the CEO.
The evidence that shew as trying to leave was deemed insufficient by the judge. Why are you guys still pushing this? If BPD is prideful, what makes you think that he would treat them any better after all of this? If she really cared about the girls she would try to fight and make sure that they are treated well within the company after all this, even if it means destroying her public image like you guys are doing now lol. Everything she has accused and claimed (Source Music LSF), there is no evidence. Hybe on the other hand, has consistently shown evidence after evidence of everything they accuse her of doing.

The thing with Coachella is that every Korean artist who performed there this year has shared how difficult it was. Ateez said they were hyperventilating after their set. The Rose just shared that the desert was so hard that their throat were closing up after their first song. Yes, Le Sserafim aren’t the strongest group vocally, but that’s not the main reason why people enjoy their performances. Their energy, stage presence and strong performances are why they are loved and invited to Coachella. I didn’t expect them to go to Coachella and sing like Mamamoo because that’s not their strength. I knew they would bring the hype energy and the live audience would have a great time and they did. They have now quietly worked hard to improve their performance skills and manage their energy to have the stamina and be vocally strong throughout their sets always using handheld mics.

I think they’re just bad at managing in general. Their claim to fame is BTS. Every group after that has gained attention for solely being under the BTS label. BTS essentially don’t need management because their fandom will eat literally anything up, but that’s because they’re an established senior group now. HYBE has waaaaaay too many new groups (under 3 years old) at the same time, which already shows bad management. They wanted to dominate the industry quickly instead of over time.

Fromis9 is still going strong with no Huge controversies. The only thing I can think of was some rigging in the lineup since they are from a survival show but multiple survival show groups are like that so I don't think it's too huge. The only bad thing is how they don't have many comebacks. From what I’ve seen, they have a lot of older male fans. This scandal or whatever has aged the group, meaning in K-pop there is a peak time when you’re hot HOT, they were in their stride. Very early. This has aged them, it’s evident with certain things if you look at it unbiased. That’s just fanbase wise though, in the general public, they still do ok but not as well as before. The next cb may change that. None of this is shade, just sharing what I’ve noticed.

MHJ version of this story at the 22 mark makes no sense. Bang couldn't of went behind MHJ's back and signed Sakura. She wasn't actually signed to SouMu until Sept 2021. Chaewon was signed in Oct 2021 since her contract with Woolim Entertainment wasn't over yet. Newjeans, aka N team, had already left to the Ador sublabel by this point in time.
Something I will never understand about K-pop companies is the concept of disbanding a group in order to debut a new one. Like, has no one told them they can keep both groups? You can make more money with two successful groups instead of one? Am I missing something here? Because I genuinely don’t get the logic. 😂
New Jeans were arguably the most commercially pushed K-pop group of all time. They debuted as the little sisters of BTS (kind of a huge deal), having plenty of brand deals, and their faces were plastered on everything in SK. Their success benefits HYBE, which is why the company invested so much into them. Unfortunately, they believe their entire success is due to MHJ...which is just weird. A whole team of people contributed to their success by writing, producing, choreographing, promoting, and so on. The fact that New Jeans refuses to function without MHJ and are being overtly hostile towards HYBE's employees and artists is unacceptable.

Yes, I very much agree! The multi-label system would be fine if there weren’t so many. Owning the initial three or four might have been okay, but they seem to add a new label almost every time they want to debut a new group. I don't think they've gone a year without debuting a new label/group since the reatructuring into Hybe. Not even SM or JYP would dare to debut groups as often as Hybe has over the past five years. This can't be sustainable for either the company staff, the industry, or the fans.

Now to the bullying to Hanni: Hanni X-CEO started and continues to bring all these issues onto the 'daughters' she is supposed to love. If this incident happened, it might have been rude (with justification of how horrible things were said about their groups from this X-CEO), so it could be that a manager was trying to shield their group member with from ongoing negative issues, which would be the manager's responsibility. Bullying can go both ways, and Hanni needs to review her X-CEO comments, and their own video giving bullying ultimantions to HYBE management. Mistakenly so, but NJ is bullying in their own way, as directed by their X-CEO.
Seems to me the curse is really a blessing, especially for Le Sserafim as they break into the US and Europe. Singing live with energy at Coachella earned them a lot of respect in the US from those who know Kpop is all lip-synch and brand deals. The Hybe groups are all getting stronger.
I haven't seen them get respect at all. They basically got hate for their vocals.

The sad thing about vocal hate is ALL the groups use autotune, pitch correction lip syncing, etc. and “live” just means the person was alive at the time of recording. If you watch some vocal coach/performance evaluation channels one guy picked a random K-pop “live” performance from a group we all know. Using technology the computer could not even recognize a natural human voice in the performance. I’m not saying they can’t sing, I’m saying they aren’t singing naturally without enhancement. Pretty sad. Everyone should do better.

Haters are thete even without this drama. They have IQ of -3 so pay no attention to them.
Illit was made as a copy of NJ because Hybe knows they have to take NJ down cause they are loyal to MHJ. Just like they wanted MHJ to make NJ a copy of Aespa to "crush them" which MHJ did not do so Lesserafim would debut urgently, unprepared.
LS's Garam was sacrified for LS's popularity. They could easily prove Garam's innocence but they didnt cayse, once again (in the leaked documents they said), it worked for Aespa's Karina, they believe.
Above are facts but no hate to any of the girls, they are just girls who want to sing and dance and be popular. Hybe is treating them like disposable objects.
The first time I heard Illit, I loved their music (I still do, guilty pleasure) because I thiught they sounded very much like NJ. I thought it was NJ he first time i heard it lol. Very fresh, very light.
So I was surprised when I discovered they are from the same parent company...do you know the only instances when a company does a "copy" of their own group?
1. When the group has disbanded.

Look into all her texts and emails with her former vice president. And no the texts are not fabricated, they were vetted and accepted by the court as evidence. In the court ruling the judge said "it is evident that min was trying to weaken Hybe's position on Ador". Also mhj didn't deny the texts, she just said it was invasion of privacy.
So basically, it's not that HYBE has a "girl group curse"; they're just awful at managing their girlgroups and put them into even more controversy rather than helping to deal with the controversies they already had.
It's a shame, because NewJeans and Le Sserafim have released some amazing songs since they debuted.

a lot of the time, part of me feels not that much older than these kpop idols. it wasn't so long ago that i was a teenager and all my emotions were running high. but i'm an adult now in my late twenties, and looking back at what i know know... frankly, it's kind of weird how intertwined Min Hee Jin is with newjeans. she's a grown woman and they're all 20 and under rn. i can tell they care about her and i'm glad they are using their voices to advocate for themselves, since so many times idols are just forced to stay quiet when they're unhappy. but also... their whole livestream creeped me out a little. does newjeans not have any identity without MHJ? it comes across like she's manipulating them bc what kind of adult uses a group of mostly teenagers to advocate for herself?? shouldn't she be keeping them out of this mess if *she* truly cares about *them?*

I don't support any of these groups because of the underaged members but they all deserve better. MHJ is especially disappointing because of what we know about misogyny in South Korea; she could have tried to protect and uplift NJ instead of weaponizing them like this. It's so sad to see how much hate the young women from all three groups get when the problem lies with corporate leadership.

Thing is, they aren't that bad. They're the second best among their active GGs (1st being fromis) in HYBE thanks to their decent main vocal but it's really the confidence that's getting to them, especially Sakura who's just as good, or bad, (whichever is fine) as any other sub vocalists you'd see. But it's her lack of confidence that makes her seem, or sound, worse, than she really is. A lot of sub vocalists out there with 0 technique easily sound better than her and it's all because of confidence

Katseye had only controversy on their Netflix Documentary Dreamstar academy! it was a speed bump but ever since its been smooth sailing. since their debut they Had 100 million streams and counting especially their 2nd single Touch. Katseye will become the next big thing under Hybe Label.
That controversy was definitely a tactic to attract more people and worked very well. It also got cleared easily by a few funny posts on Instagram by members.

@@eunbearrr Le Serrafim and Katseye were like a team that both group Co-exist each and like each other. both groups have the same leader on Yunjin and Sophia who has same well like Personality who knows how to navigate their group in such a tough Competition especially the lines between a KPOP group and a Global group is not so clear anymore. both groups thrive in adversity! to give you in context what is 100 million Spotify streams everyday, Aespa a 4th gen KPOP group streams at 80 million per day. thats how insane it is the success Katseye has been receiving and its get better. as more and more western Audiences really like theor song becaus of the Fifth Harmony or Pussy Cat Dolls nostalgia and they were like here eastern hemisphere particularly the Knetizen. I guess thats the work of HYBE Labels and Geffen but mostly Hybe. because of the influence and Le Serrafim as well and even Troubled group under sub label Ador, New Jeans did influence some of their music with no bridge on their songs. better success will come for Katseye. but it is unfortunate for VCHA, I dont know what happen to them.
