I haven't jumped on the slimline card bandwagon yet, but can see myself trying these minis. The larger ones seem to waste a lot of paper -- and I already have enough scraps.😀 Thanks for the quick/easy policy envelope demonstration, too. I always forget how easy it is to make one.

I follow a lot of channels and have seen mini slimlines all over you tube. I love the way you explain everything and make it so easy to follow. This card is adorable, and so quick to make. And you are right, a few stamps or embellishments go a long way on these smaller cards, looks great!

Now I'm waiting for the comments asking you for an "As many as..." using 6x6 or 12x12 paper packs for these mini slim lines.. Seriously, they are super cute. I never considered slim lines before, but now I am. Thank you for showing this. I have a ton of 6x6 pads I need to use up.. I keep getting them, then keep forgetting to use them. Also have a couple Mintay 6x8s I can use too. Yay
I love the mini slimline card. I would use a 32lb paper to make the envelope. It is a little stronger then a regular sheet of paper. Thanks Maymay for the video. May be my new fav too!
The scallop punch is my favorite punch, besides the regular corner rounder punch. I really like your "homemade" envelope! I have to try this size card and that envelope! Thanks for sharing this idea, Maymay!

I love the MINI slimline card. and thank you for all the measurements, you are always awesome at including that for us! I wasn't impressed with the FULL size slimlines, but definitely will be making these!
I wanted to come back and thank you. For years I've been making A2 sizes, but the mini slimline cards have helped me effectively use up a ton of unused one-sided 6 x 6 paper and the standard envelopes are perfect and don't need extra postage. I've been making simple batch cards. Sentiments work well with out too much more fuss. Doing batch cards also help me figure out consistency with my measurements. Other wise it takes me sooo long for one card.
I have made a lot of mini slimline cards. I just like the size and it’s perfect for money/cash gifts. Almost all my graduation cards are mini slimlines.

I was NOT going to get into the slimline craze. But I do like the mini slimline. You've convinced me--I think I will try making some. I will need to get some envelopes. For some reason when I make my own envelopes, they never turn out right. LOL
Oh my gosh, I too love this little size! it's Adorable! Thanks for the full 411! I get your reasonings BUT looking on the sunny side... using your size you can use 6X6 Patterned papers and get two card fronts leaving a nice white mat or border and 8 card fronts out of a 12X12!! I've seen them but your excitement about them has inspired me to go and play!
Cute card! Love all the info in your video. When my son was in grade school (small school), the PTC President ordered spiral tablets with the school name on. She meant to order 12 dozen, but she ordered 12 gross (12x144)!

I haven’t been on your videos for sometime but when I saw this envelope making video I just had to see how you did it and may I say, it seems very easy and it would save a lot of money from buying a box of them. I would have to get myself a scorer and one of those scorer sticks too to be able to make my own. Sometimes there are times when I need an envelope and the ones I have are either too big or too small and then I’m out of an envelope. I made mini Slimline cards when it wasn't cool. In fact I had a difficult time with adjusting to A2. Those envelopes are what we called letter envelopes (am I dating myself?). We were even taught how to properly fold a letter for those envelopes. So now I can use up my inherited letter envelopes. 😉
I love this size. I have made these for years. Mostly because that is the size envelopes I often had. I can make my own envelopes, but sometimes I am in a hurry.
I love that card size, and the envelope as well. I will be making these for a while, however, I have a gazillion A2 card sets, but it's not like either will go out of style, LOL.
Love this design. Just saw the box video to hold these. Making cards for a variety of occasions would be a great gift for someone who isn't able to get out and shop!
I love making the slim line and the mini slim line.... and I make my slim line and mini slim line envelopes exactly like what you just did. I made my mini slim line with the 3x6 but I think I like the larger size better.... Thank for sharing your mini slim line and measurements.... already printed the layers dimensions......

Thanks for the envelope idea. I use 24 or 28 pound copy paper to make envelopes. When I have 32 pound copy paper, it works too.
