Many of you are concerned that the magnets were in the way. They weren’t. They are thin and allow the plate to go all the way down. I would have adjusted if that was the issue. Also, if the magnets had been the issue the Stamping mishap wouldn’t have been in the center of the stamp. It would have blocked the edges closest to the magnets. Be sure to watch till the end, I do get it to work. Thanks y’all!

I use a piece of 8"x8" heavier cardstock as a base for all of my stamping on this and it works perfectly anywhere on up to a 12"x12" paper, every time. As May May showed, a piece of foam works too. Personally, I never bother with the magnets. I just give a little push on my paper to ensure my paper/cardstock is always pushed into the corner where it should be lined up against the edges and stamp away. It's always on point. Overall this has saved space in my work area by not needing all of the other tools this tool replaces! This was a great purchase and have zero regrets.

For the pompoms and the tassels, I would cut the 6” tying yarn first and lay it across the board between the pegs before wrapping the pegs. That way it’s already in place to tie at the end.

I'm just watching this for the second time 'cause mine isn't coming until next week and I want to keep reminding myself what it looks like. Seriously though, there's no way I'm going to use the stamping function without saying 'it's on a squish'. That cracks me up. This is the best demonstration of the the Works Tool on You Tube. thanks Maymay, you're a genuine treasure. 🌹

I absolutely love your tutorials!!! Your are FANTASTIC!!!! :)
I think I found the reason why the cutting arm is so hard to lift up. I found this out with my scoreboard/cutter (I don't know the exact name of it) made by We R. If you push the blade to the extreme top or extreme bottom before lifting the arm, and use the built in tabs on each end of the arm, it lifts easily. If the blade is anywhere in between, it does not. I think this was done on purpose because when I have forced it to open in with the blade in between the two extremes and then placed a piece of paper in to cut, and lowered the arm, the blade pierces the paper at the point the blade was at when I forced it open. Many times, this is not where I want to cut my paper, since I am still adjusting it. The blade locks the paper in where you can't adjust the paper without lifting the arm again and moving the blade to the extreme points where you can close it and adjust your paper as needed. What are your thoughts? Give it a try by moving the blade to the extreme top or extreme bottom before lifting the arm, and use the built in tabs at the top or bottom. You will see that it lifts easily at either extreme point. I am just guessing that it was done on purpose.

Really excellent demo and review, Maymay. I'm glad to see WRMK has used black 'ink' for the measurements. I have poor vision and one of my complains with some of their products is the difficulty of seeing gold writing on a white board, or white writing on pale turquoise. Pretty, but impossible for older crafters with vision issues to see. Again, thanks so much for taking the time to do such a thorough review. Diane

For traveling, it might be good but I really love my full size individual tools for my craft room at home. Using it for traveling would save space and keep the traveling wear and tear off your regular tools.
A thin foam layer really helps when stamping with clear type stamps or any stamp that lacks a foam layer.

Thank you for this! I have been debating about it. The price isn't the issue for me, and I know I am fortunate to be able to say that. I am not a card maker, but I already have several of the tools this board combined into one. And for stuff like a pom pom maker and a tassel maker, I have things that will work. (Like, for instance, wrapping around my fingers. Pom Pom makers. Etc.) My "I NEED it ALL!" personality says I must buy this. But I was hesitant on how it worked. Watching you demo, straight out of the box, really helped me visualize everything. I'm still not sold-sold on this item. But, boy, I loved watching this video to see how you did it. You make it easy for everyone to understand. I really appreciate it!

Great comprehensive review! Glad you kept at the stamping cause that would have been a deal breaker for me. Wish they had made the cut guide w a metal edge and ruler marks... Would have been a bonus. Will definately consider buying this for cropping/ traveling and for gifts to non crafty friends. My step mom likes doing special embellishments and stuff when wrapping gifts and this would give her lots of options. Appreciate all the time you took and will point this vid out if I give it as a gift so they have an easy reference for all it does. Thanks to Jordan too for the time stamps. Mucho appreciado!

I clicked on this video because I misread the title as saying the "...worst tool..." while recognizing the base of the tool itself. I thought, 'oh! finally someone is having bad luck with this brand too!' I have the WeRMemoryKeepers scoreboard and papertrimmer 2in1. It's super handy! But it neither cuts nor scores straight, no matter how hard I try! The edges never and I mean never match up.
I am now going to watch the video! 💙💌

On the trimmer arm, open it from the bottom and it releases the magnet so much easier. I have had mine for a few weeks and I love it. I already own most of the individual tools but having it in all in one makes my life much easier when filming my videos and making my cards and 3D products as the work space is not as cluttered. Great, though review Maymay thank you.

I have this and use it all the time. Especially the trimmer and bow maker.

I just found this video and was thinking that since I have all of the separate boards so I would not need this despite it's usefulness. Until I saw the bow maker. I have a bowdabra that makes wonderful bows but I need to watch a video everytime I use it because it is a little complicated. I can't wait to get one of these now !!!!

Awesome review thank you. I saw this advertised and wondered if it would be any good. Pleased to see it is really functional.

I like just using the block, love all the other things to do especially the tassel, bow and banner maker what a awesome tool. But I like the all in one for craft fair or crops. Also since my banner and envelope board is in storage still. ❤️ it 😊 TFS

Genius! I love it! I haven’t seen the price yet but, I have been looking to buy the envelope punch board and if I get this I won’t need one. Plus, the tassel maker, bow maker and the Pom Pom maker all in one. I crochet so they would come in handy. Tag maker is a plus, not necessary but I like it, and the stamping platform with the trimmer and scoreboard all in one! I absolutely hate having to switch from my misty, the trimmer then the scoreboard. It just makes sense to have one tool that does it all! Thank you Maymay for the demo! Payday can’t come soon enough for me!

Thank you so so much for your review of this tool. It is at the top of my "things I want to buy for crafting." I was interested because of the stamping platform. I have all of the other tools except the banner/tag maker, but it would be nice to have it all in one tool. I love to stamp, but it is the bane of my existence -- I get ink everywhere but where I want it to go. I know I can trust your reviews, and so it stays at the top. My birthday was 4 days ago and I left hints everywhere -- but then decided to get some digital sets and good paper instead. But Christmas is coming ..... Be well, Patricia

I almost gave up in the beginning of the video. Glad I kept going. I hope you have an updated video when you get these in stock. Would love to purchase from you

I’m a newbie to this craft (folio)
If you take the envelope form out of its slot you can place it in the general area of the sag when you try to use a solid stamp. I haven’t tried it but just was playing with “The Works.”
