Many of you are concerned that the magnets were in the way. They weren’t. They are thin and allow the plate to go all the way down. I would have adjusted if that was the issue. Also, if the magnets had been the issue the Stamping mishap wouldn’t have been in the center of the stamp. It would have blocked the edges closest to the magnets. Be sure to watch till the end, I do get it to work. Thanks y’all!

I use a piece of 8"x8" heavier cardstock as a base for all of my stamping on this and it works perfectly anywhere on up to a 12"x12" paper, every time. As May May showed, a piece of foam works too. Personally, I never bother with the magnets. I just give a little push on my paper to ensure my paper/cardstock is always pushed into the corner where it should be lined up against the edges and stamp away. It's always on point. Overall this has saved space in my work area by not needing all of the other tools this tool replaces! This was a great purchase and have zero regrets.

For the pompoms and the tassels, I would cut the 6” tying yarn first and lay it across the board between the pegs before wrapping the pegs. That way it’s already in place to tie at the end.

I absolutely love your tutorials!!! Your are FANTASTIC!!!! :)
I think I found the reason why the cutting arm is so hard to lift up. I found this out with my scoreboard/cutter (I don't know the exact name of it) made by We R. If you push the blade to the extreme top or extreme bottom before lifting the arm, and use the built in tabs on each end of the arm, it lifts easily. If the blade is anywhere in between, it does not. I think this was done on purpose because when I have forced it to open in with the blade in between the two extremes and then placed a piece of paper in to cut, and lowered the arm, the blade pierces the paper at the point the blade was at when I forced it open. Many times, this is not where I want to cut my paper, since I am still adjusting it. The blade locks the paper in where you can't adjust the paper without lifting the arm again and moving the blade to the extreme points where you can close it and adjust your paper as needed. What are your thoughts? Give it a try by moving the blade to the extreme top or extreme bottom before lifting the arm, and use the built in tabs at the top or bottom. You will see that it lifts easily at either extreme point. I am just guessing that it was done on purpose.

With scoring or cutting greater than 6 inches you could open the arm, make a mark then slide over to the bed area line mark to score/ cutting point and score or trim as required. 💚

For traveling, it might be good but I really love my full size individual tools for my craft room at home. Using it for traveling would save space and keep the traveling wear and tear off your regular tools.
A thin foam layer really helps when stamping with clear type stamps or any stamp that lacks a foam layer.

Really excellent demo and review, Maymay. I'm glad to see WRMK has used black 'ink' for the measurements. I have poor vision and one of my complains with some of their products is the difficulty of seeing gold writing on a white board, or white writing on pale turquoise. Pretty, but impossible for older crafters with vision issues to see. Again, thanks so much for taking the time to do such a thorough review. Diane

I'm quite sceptical about many of the 'new' tools that are coming out in recent years quite a few of which are drastically overpriced for what they are, but I really do think that this one is well worth the money due to the multifunctionality of it. I also like that it's not pink! Thanks for taking the time to show its many used and giving your early opinions. TFS :)

Great comprehensive review! Glad you kept at the stamping cause that would have been a deal breaker for me. Wish they had made the cut guide w a metal edge and ruler marks... Would have been a bonus. Will definately consider buying this for cropping/ traveling and for gifts to non crafty friends. My step mom likes doing special embellishments and stuff when wrapping gifts and this would give her lots of options. Appreciate all the time you took and will point this vid out if I give it as a gift so they have an easy reference for all it does. Thanks to Jordan too for the time stamps. Mucho appreciado!

Thank you for this! I have been debating about it. The price isn't the issue for me, and I know I am fortunate to be able to say that. I am not a card maker, but I already have several of the tools this board combined into one. And for stuff like a pom pom maker and a tassel maker, I have things that will work. (Like, for instance, wrapping around my fingers. Pom Pom makers. Etc.) My "I NEED it ALL!" personality says I must buy this. But I was hesitant on how it worked. Watching you demo, straight out of the box, really helped me visualize everything. I'm still not sold-sold on this item. But, boy, I loved watching this video to see how you did it. I thought, 'oh! finally someone is having bad luck with this brand too!' I have the WeRMemoryKeepers scoreboard and papertrimmer 2in1. It's super handy! Great tip Maymay on putting a piece under like that so you don't have to clean your board. I'm still learning so I do appreciate the little things like this.

As to the envelope maker, I’ve used mine cutting paper at 8” sq which allows a tad more wiggle room, but on the 4th score ( lindens-top) I moved the paper down a tad for the top fold to encompass the A2 card with embellishments/thicker card.

I like just using the block, love all the other things to do especially the tassel, bow and banner maker what a awesome tool. But I like the all in one for craft fair or crops. Also since my banner and envelope board is in storage still. ❤️ it 😊 TFS

I love the WRMK Boards but I always struggle to understand the directions. Your ability to read and understand them always amazes me! And then, your explanations are so easy to follow!! Thank you so much for doing these demos.

Wr Memory Keepers are the 'Rolls Royce' of crafting. I love the engineering, attention to detail, finish and quality look and feel that goes into their products. Yes it is a considered purchase, yes it is an investment. I would go as far as to say it is an heirloom. I want one badly. Thanks May for a fab review and demo. It is just what it needs.

Thanks so much for this review!!! I was on the fence about ordering one, now I can make an educated purchase. Definitely use foam on the base for stamping & I would place some heavy chipboard beneath as well to give it more stability. If you take out the envelope/tag/tab board, and try to see if a piece of heavyweight chipboard fits into that slot, it may make a huge difference in the stamping ability. All in all, just a few tweaks isn't a deal breaker for some. Blessings & hugs!!!
