I was using the same scoreline on all 4 sides instead of using the score guide! I watched another woman using how to make an envelope but didn't point out the score line😢. Thank you for fixing my right out of the box first mistake with the envelope guides. I think I did it the same way you did before you figured out the right way as it does make the envelope a little wonky. Did it wrong also on the score lines, again thank you for showing where I can actually see where you are placing what part.
Great tutorial, much better than the we r memory keepers one as you have close up on the parts you are talking about. As you say the book was really confusing and the we r memory keepers own demo video just didn't have close up so was hard to follow. thanks for making this and sharing in better detail.😀 With so many of the information on the board in TINY engraving it was too hard to see. so I used a sharpie marker on its side n gently coloured across those areas, it makes it easier to see. if u mess up, use an alcohol blending pen, as an eraser. if u want just the lines the indents coloured in stead of the background, still use the sharpie over the area, but work the colour in more, then when its dried a bit, place some kitchen paper on the board, under the blender pen (to minimise how much the pen absorbs on to the nib) and erase the pen that is not where u want it. wipe the nib of the blender pen, often to keep it clean and take the ink it has absorbed off again.

Thanks for this tutorial. I am trying with failure to make a small gift boxes my little daughters wants for her plushes. I fail miserably. Any chance you could make a tutorial using the all in one tool as that the only tool I have to make small gift boxes. Thanks
Thank you for the detailed video. I have a question: even though I am doing exactly as you're doing for the envelopes, some of mine still won't come up the right way. Have you tried the smaller sizes? I've tried making the 5x5 envelope for a 3x3 card but the envelope comes out roughly at 1 and 3/4" x 5.5" Any helpful advice would be super appreciated. :)
I just went ahead and made a 5x5 envelope to make sure it works and it came out the right size. So for a 5x5 envelope your paper size should be cut to 7 7/8 x 7 7/8. So first double check that you’re cutting your paper to that size. The second thing I’d double check is the alignment guide. The paper should be at 3 7/8 on the alignment guide for scoring. Let me know if that helps.

I've had this for a long time and use it frequently for cutting, scoring and bow making. However, I'm frustrated with the envelope maker because there is no A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) size listed. I have to get out my little funky score board, as it has an envelope maker on the back that does have this size listed. Is the All-in-One capable of scoring an accurate A2 envelope and if so, what are the magic numbers? Thanks so much!
Great tutorial. However it is the single most useless tool I have purchased. I waited a couple of years to see if it would be worth it. It’s not envelope, stamping board, cutter not worth the money. Try it in a shop before purchasing.
