OMG - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I have been trying to figure out how to change this blade for ages and even wrote to We R Makers today before I thought of looking on You Tube. Wow - so easy when you know to lift it a little. (I tried too getting it off each end with no luck). Also, never noticed the notch in the back of the blade to cut just a small piece. I am that person that has been cutting a whole strip off a 12x12 for only a maybe 5x5 piece. Game changer, for sure.

Aw, the good old black household hole is where you'll find it. Same as in your purse or luggage. You know you have put something in there but the second you want to retrieve it, it is never found, in the smaller potable black hole. Now sometimes if the space time continuum feels it has pulled it's universal joke on you long enough (the part where you are ripping your hair out, chewing your nails to the bone) it may allow said lost objects to return. This is only so it can have yet another great laugh at us as it will put it right back where it took it from! LOL

I am so happy I found this video, I have been considering getting the Works all in one tool. But was wondering how well it held up. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Oh & I forgot to mention. I've used that middle of the paper trick when I'm doing something really thin, so it doesn't buckle.

Loved this video - it's handy knowing how this tool is still holding up for you long after you first bought it. For me, inky fingers are a sign of a serious artist. Lol!
And I think you must have the right balance of face to camera and top down camera, because until you mentioned it I hadn't really noticed. And I would have if there'd been moments when you said "can you see this?" Or "look here" and the camera didn't show what we needed to see. Instead everything flowed well and I could easily see where you directed our attention.
So well done with the editing as well. And thanks for thinking to post a second video on the CONTINUING function of this comprehensive tool, blade changing and all.

I went to all three craft stores that you mentioned to buy new blades and they don't have any. Even Hobby Lobby doesn't as they don't carry the Works All in One Tool anymore.

Thank you this video. I will try your tip of starting in the middle of the paper to prolong the life of my blade

Thanks for stopping to comment. Love the feedback. It will get natural to start in the center quickly. At least that was my experience. I really don’t think about it now. It just happens. Take care. Janet

Thank you Lea! So appreciate the feedback. It’s more work to edit the cuts from table to me but I would like to think it’s better to watch that way. Have a great week! Janet

Where do you find the number on the cutting board so that you know the blades will fit? I can't find the number and it says that the blade that you're are showing fits WR660407 & WR660453. Would that be right????

Hello. This video is quite old now and back then the blades were carried at the stores I mentioned. I advise
checking Scrapbooks.com and the weR site itself. The blade type is the same on most if not all of their cutters so that isn’t or shouldn’t be a big concern. They do that to cut down on their manufacturing costs. I stocked up on blades so haven’t had to find another source yet. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thank you! I just bought the board, I am trying to make small boxes with it. Have you tried?

    • @SugarShineDesigns

You can use it for trimming and scoring while making a box. This video will tell you how to make small to medium boxes.

No, still can't get the blade off, completely unimpressed with WRMM for making changing the blade so difficult.

Please watch what I do in the video for this. With the cutting edge to the right of the unit, put gentle and steady pressure up at the top of the blade mechanism. The blade will pop out of the holder. Similar pressure in needed to install a new blade. If yours doesn’t do that, there may be something wrong with it. Contact them directly for help. Sorry it’s been a problem and frustration.
