Natasha, I’ve been a longtime subscriber, and I am always amazed at your dedication to putting out helpful, interesting and thoughtful videos. I don’t know what keeps you going but I’m just one of many who appreciates all you do. I’ve made one of these accordion envelopes in the past but it was way more complicated. You’ve simplified the process to make it quicker and more enjoyable - and with fantastic results. Thanks again!

Quite a while ago, I made a similiar type of storage piece, only it was with fabric that was sewn together. For the life of me, I can't remember how I did it! I've not seen anything similiar to what it looked like, untill seeing this video! I really wish I could remember how I sewd the previous fabric one! If you know, or if any of your other followers has the instructions for the sewn one, I would be very grateful to learn about it! TIA! Thank you, Natasha, for sharing this one, that so resembles my sewn one! At least now I can made one, even if out of paper instead of fabric! Yours are beautiful btw!

Always something different, useful, and beautiful - I expect nothing else from you, Natasa. I'm growing to dislike the 'beloved' journal makers here on YT who just do to same things over and over again, but I know I can always count on you for new ideas. And your sense of humor is priceless!

Another reason why i always watch your videos is that you’re not boring and you explain the process in a short way and no need to watch an hour just to cut the paper and the editing process is amazing…
There’s many crafters out there but i skip their videos because they don’t edit their videos…
    Your the best Natasa….

What a great project, Natasa! I've not made one of these with envelopes before-though I've made journals and other items with recycled envelopes. I like how easy this is! Tips I learned along the way: heavier paper does not roll over easily on the folds; mine got pinched in the wrong place on bottom fold so for the top flap I used a score board to make the creases. I also did not pay attention when I glued the envelopes to the cover, so the front openings (ie with lower edges) ended up facing the back of the cover. I also learned that it's best to cover up any writing or stamps on the envelopes Before gluing them together! 🙂 I haven't got washi tape, so it took a long time to cut scraps and glue to each end of the envelopes over the writing, and then strips between. Live and learn! Next one will hopefully be easier to assemble. Oh, I also learned: when using paper for the cover that has a design, it's best to trim both edges so the design is centered over the envelopes.

I saw this on another RUclips channel: When attaching a circle with a brad in the middle to your project, use a small piece of cardboard with a slot in it. Place the slot between the punched circle and your project. Attach the brad to the project while the slotted cardboard is still in place. Attach brad and remove the cardboard. Now there is room for your twine without a such a tight fit. Just a silly thing that really makes a difference! 🙂

I've been looking for this simple method, for so many reasons.😊Thank you!
While I'd leave the flaps attached, and seal to the inside, to reinforce the back edges, I love this idea of Using some things, including the thinner cards/envelopes we always get from charities.(I reuse them after a bit of fussy and die cutting, parts) Now, I have a place to store them!
Also, using up my junkmail envelopes and unloved paper, place to store bits and pieces just to hold till I have time to use it, longer strips, stickers, etc. And, saving my 6x4x1inch boxes for finished doo dads and embellishments. Win win win!! Thanks!
