Update: It looks like the Accusonus bundle is no longer available to those without an existing account. I left a link in the description for the free RN Noise vst noise reduction plugin which is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. RN Noise works well and I recommend trying it out if you don't think you need the additional features of Clarity Vx Pro.
Thanks. I'm in South Africa and the exchange rate is crazy at the moment so the free alternative will be excellent. My recording room is not sound proof but I love in a quiet area. I mostly have to deal with the birds, the mic noise, interface hiss planes etc, this should be a good starting point for me. Let's hope it removes all noise especially in the vocals! I came across this by accident. I'm so excited 🎉❤
Thanks Matte - I agree, running noise reduction in series (as with EQ and compression) often gives better results. I have often found "pushing" either one plugin (or analogue gear) too hard leads to more artifacts compared to running several in a chain. Thanks again for sharing!
man thank you so much that ERA 6 Noise Reduction Pro works perfectly fine on fan noises...been looking for something like since i cant afford Waves Clarity Vx Pro
Thanks for sharing - I agree. I ran the same tests used in this video (in detail) with the non-pro version of Clarity Vx and it is a great option for most creator space / home studio environmental noise. Noise reduction plugins are interesting. Each one seems to perform better in different environments and with varying sources. ruclips.net/video/tW4eFhMIgZo/видео.html While we all try to make the best recordings possible, having a few noise reduction options (as with compressors, EQs, and reverbs) can be good to have.
You are comparing noise lower than voice, clarity is not meant for that... NS1 from waves outperforms ERA 6 with a single knob, but Clarity IS NOT meant to clean background noise only, but also ISOLATE the voice from same lvl noises....
...and I found both Clarity Vx Pro and Clarity Vx performed reasonably well at isolating my voice from similar level background noise in my vlogging - shopping mall food court tests at 15:14. The audio was usable with an appropriate level of ambiance preserved.
I know this is an old video, but wanted pop in and say that I was able to get the free bundle without an account! Downloaded them last night and am very pleased! In fact, I feel the Noise Remover Pro works a little better than the iZotope de-noise plugin I have, which I paid for! Also, I was having way too much fun with the voice changer plugin...😂
@@sadmanfuad5410 I would try the free Blue Lab denoiser, or RNNoise; however, if you want something of higher quality, you'll (likely) need to pay, but maybe the free ones suit your needs just fine! iZotope RX Elements, which includes a very good denoiser, as well as other tools, is currently on sale for $40 USD! I swap between that and Acon Digital's Extract: Dialogue, which is also great, but more expensive at around $99 USD.
@@dannyk140 Sorry for the late response! It looks like it's no longer available where I got it from, which was kickbackcouture. I think it was pulled shortly after I commented. :(
ERA can be used on both mono and stereo tracks as well as busses. The plugins don't have separate versions for stereo and mono like some others (Waves...) but I have used them for either application.
I noticed some issue with artifacts. Particularly pops and clicks that weren’t in my initial audio. Something odd with these plug-ins. Earlier 5 versions were much better.
I found artifacts to be readily apparent when pushing the processing (particularly with the ERA), as happens with pretty much all noise reduction plugins. I haven't used the version 5 plugins but I'm glad to hear there are working well.
@@askdrtk thank u :) I tried downloading era 6 and try it out after i saw your video but i couldn't....so I wanted to ask if is it still free cause I saw message that said they were out of business, but if not I would love a direct link to download the plugin. thanks again, u were super nice :)

Great analysis! A great opportunity to get such a nice quality Era Bundle.
Much appreciated! Hope you enjoy the bundle!
I stack ERA 6 and the 29 dollar VX in a chain..super results..

That's exactly how I've been using it.
Serial noise reduction, the secret weapon...😄

All good - I'm glad to help out. Check out the whole bundle, it has many other great plugins too!
Waves Clarity Vx (not pro version) is $29 and works well on fan noise

Great to hear! Even a few years later there are still some useful tools in ERA 6... Cheers!
Hey! I’m trying to find the bundle but can’t find it anywhere. Do you remember where you downloaded it from?
@LiamDonoma Can you suggest the best free noise remover available online? Thanks

Does the ERA go on master bus? Seems so since it's Stereo not Mono?

So is it free or not?

loves your video, i will sure be happy to have some technical help using it in davinci , thanks in advance. oren
Glad you enjoyed it! I will be making a number of tutorials for audio post production in video editing applications including Davinci. Cheers, Todd.
