stay away from the lo-fi piano plugin! i just tried installing it & it's a headache. it downloaded 4 different programs on my computer and still doesn't show up in my DAW. pure trash
when he started fiddling around on the keyboard and played spain by chick corea thats when i realised that this is a rare beat maker that knows what he’s doing. Props for you man!

Can anyone help with downloading the Steinburg Lofi Piano plugin? I have it downloaded on the Steinberg Download Assistant, and I downloaded HALion Sonic 7, but I can't figure out how to get them into FL Studio. I'm a beginner with this shit so if anyone knows what to do it'd be greatly appreciated.
i agree that the steinberg lofi piano sounds amazing. i also have to say that they make you jump through so many hoops in order to get it... I'm far from a luddite, I have tons of third party plugins installed, I'm currently training to be a coder - but I cba to put up with this crap.

Hey Ed! I like the one shots. Can you do a video on explaining all the different things like Presets, One-Shots, etc explaining all the stuff that is out there to equip Ableton/etc with? As a newbie to professional music production its confusing.
Hey A3! It's gonna be a really extensive video if he has to include all there is - but the difference between a one-shot and a preset is small but good to know. A preset you can only load into a synth/vst/plugin/call it what you want. The preset has parameters set but they only work with the synth. Now a one-shot is basically a sample (like if you find a loop or a little sound or vocal thingy). That means that it works independently from a synth (although it's not uncommon that you can add one shots to synths to play with the settings of the synth with the sound). If you want to use one shot as a preset (in the sense of being able to do different notes and not just the standard C5 it's (usually) set to), it actually depends on the DAW. I personally use FL Studio where you just drop it into the channel rack and then you open piano roll and play to your hearts content. Hope this helps mate:)

Wish you would've shown how to download the first one. Downloading that gave me so much stuff but don't even see where the piano is to use it. That download gave me 5 shortcuts on my desktop, I installed the piano but searched for plugin in the DAW and still ain't seeing Halion Sonic or whatever. It just keeps running me around to sign into to shortcuts it gave me and the browser. Might be a great freebie but no way to tell if I can't get it to come up in my DAW

Throwing a plug-in name, finding the first preset you land on, and building a sick fire beat”, well, one you keep trying to convince your audience is amazing, and jumping to the next plug-in every 30-45 seconds, does absolutely nothing to give a run down of the plug-in, explaining the features of the plug-in with examples, and some actual sound design examples to show off what is capable beyond choosing a random preset. Drop designer isn't really free, since you need to spend hundreds to buy Kontakt in order to use it.
Some of these things work with the free version of the Kontakt player, do you know if that's the case with this one by chance?
