People seem to project their own insecurities onto these bikers. As a “motorcycle enthusiast” I enjoyed the South Park episode as much as anyone. That said, “these dudes ARE ‘real bikers’” 🤮. I hate that term. Motorcycle enthusiasts are normal humans that enjoy motorcycles. You people can project and hate all you want, I have my own judgements of them but 1%ers are actually dangerous. Most of em are felons. They’ve all been in fights. They don’t let you in if you’re soft. They do criminal stuff. Violent criminal stuff. Many of them are veterans. …combat veterans. If you people think these guys are weak and easily messed with, that’s a dangerous line of thinking. I don’t like them, like most of you but even me (also a capable combat vet) vs 5+ armed bikers while I’m stuck in a traffic jam/parking spot… You’re gonna be toast. Most of these guys never speak to the general public so it’s not like they go around bullying society.
They are generally pretty chill dudes. Like you said they keep to themselves pretty much. Plus just drive safe and watch for others. Speeding and cutting people off in traffic just ain’t worth it.

In PA we have a fair amount of Pegans. Typically you leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone. However I think people need to treat all motorcyclists with respect. Everyone gets so damn entitled “treat me with respect and I’ll do the same” it’s not that serious.
