Totally agree with you. Noel is a hugely underrated guitar player & excellent song writer. His stuff shows that very often keeping it simple can be far more effective than flashy techniques & the way he voices his songs, with often very simple & natural chord progressions, deserves way more credit than he often gets. When 'Bea & Matt did 'Sounds Like Oasis' for Andertons TV there were so many negative & derisory comments, which I think are completely undeserved. Again, great playing Dave. So glad I found your channel:)
I never thought in my wildest dreams having watched many of your other video's that I'd find out you were an Oasis/Noel G fan.Dave for no reason that I can explain this knowledge has made my day.
Live Forever is probably my favourite song of all time, and that rendition at the end is utterly beautiful. I could listen to that forever. Thank you Dave :)
Dave man this is great! Hope everything is going well with the 62' keep at it man, no one deserves it more than you, you're one of my major inspirations, have fun and try post more gig videos!
Happy Sunday Dave..... that's what music is all about, how sad it would be if we all loved the same band, song and of course solo!!!! Keep the faith but more importantly keep rocking!! 😎
Such a beautiful solo! I agree 100% with you, that it is not about speed and technique but about feeling and creativity. Oasis and Frusciante are the heroes of my son. But I like some songs of them too. I saw Oasis live in 2003, but I fear they had not their greatest moments that day.
Great choice, Dave. I love this solo too. Its not technically very hard to play but the sound of it is amazing. It takes the song to another level, which is all you can ask for in a solo really
Yes I was hoping we'd get a new solo video soon! Fun fact the reason Noel decided to learn guitar was because of Sally Cinamon by The Stone Roses... maybe we could get a John Squire episode with the CR120 tones?
Dave fucking great totally agree with you NOEL's playing is under rated he is responsible for so many taking up guitar and showing people that you don't have to play at speed that everyone can play at there own pace and have sum fun, totally a legend,Definitely. Maybe ‼️🎸🇨🇮
As far as solos go, there are many that are magical but my favourite solo is hotel California by the eagles. I think it is a great example of music as an art form What do you think about this solo? :)
great playing he's an underrated guitarist more thought of a song writer but have to be able to play to write I wish you would mention what your using ie pedals and settings be interesting and useful thanks for video roll on tomorrow for another
one of the reasons Oasis stands out is bc they were always about simplicity and authenticity. Noel sure is underrated
noel gallagher & john frusciante are my idols... thank you so much !!! Do more noel videos also if possible !! :-)
Thank you very much and i shall do more Noel. Very happily. :)
Would love to hear a Stone Roses solo plz, John Squire is so underrated and my favourite guitarist of the 90's.
I always thought Noel was a campfire guitarist until I watched Rick Beato dissect his playing on don’t look back in anger.Eye opener

NG...the master of simplicity...and the greatest promoter of capos
capos? that's Marr
Yeh, He uses open G-Em7- Asus- C6/9 chords a lot. They dont sound the same in other positions.
A perfect example of "less is more".
Indeed. :)

Do rattlesnake shake live in Boston 1970. That solo from PG and then when Dan joins in. Gives me chills.
Fantastic rendition bro, it is not how difficult is, is how make us feel, and that solo is, like you said a masterpiece along with the song.
Thank you very much. :)
You mentioned how Johnny Marr gave Noel his les Paul and it made me wonder how you feel about The smiths and Johnny's work? I'm a big fan myself :)
Yeeeeeeeessssss
I really like the smiths. I love Johnny Marr's guitar playing. Brilliant. :)
I think this was the first solo i learned to play, even before rhcp stuff, love Noel!! Great video
Thank you very much. :)

this was the first song I learnt when I got my epiphone les Paul haha, awesome :)
Thats cool. Thank you for watching. :)
Yes Dave. Liked this before I even watched it
Thank you kindly. :)

He is the reason I took up guitar. He is one of the most influential people in my life... mad for it
Thank you very much for watching. :)
my all time favorite band. is this your first mention of them on your channel? the playing is on point as always! :-)
Mine as well. It is indeed my first time mentioning them and i can't believe it. Shame on me. Thank you very much . :)
This is class ! And I love how slow it is ! I especially love the lead bit on the end instead of vocals ! 👌🏼 where can I find that on tab ?
As far as solos go, there are many that are magical but my favourite solo is hotel California by the eagles. I think it is a great example of music as an art form
What do you think about this solo? :)
Dave that guitar looks huge on you dude! lol rock on bro!
Happy Birthday, Dave.
great playing he's an underrated guitarist more thought of a song writer but have to be able to play to write I wish you would mention what your using ie pedals and settings be interesting and useful thanks for video roll on tomorrow for another
Thank you very much and i was using a Marshall Guv'nor 2 plus for this video. :)
Goosebumps ! :)) awesome dave !
Thank you very much. :)
really enjoyed this dave. I made me think it'd be great if you did an underused guitarist video series. Bryan Adams etc
Thank you very much for watching. :)
Happy birthday )!
can we have an episode on great guitar faces?
Hahaha. Maybe. :)
fucking sweet man love that song
Thank you. : )
Nicely done Dave 👍
Thank you very much. :)
Guns n Roses solos also amazing especially the one in November Rain
That is very very true. :)
Happy Sunday Dave!
Thank you. :)
Superb Dave 👍
Thank you very much. :)
Any chance of doing a quick tutorial of this Dave😉
I'll see what I can do. :)
Dave Simpson top man👍🏻
Solo starts at 4:35
Tutorial on this solo please?
Hey, Dave! all your videos sound great but you think you'll ever throw a microphone in front of your cab?
Working on it but it wont be for a while. Thank you for watching. :)
biblical vid, man, next, try to get his tone on your cr120
Thank you very much and I'll get to it soon. :)
The comfortably numb solos should be an honorable mention in my opinion
Very true and i shall be covering that. :)
You need to do some oasis lessons now my good man!!!😉
That i do. :)
Yes, do it man! Don’t take so long... so hard to find an amazing guitar player playing Oasis!
Please Sir can I have some more ;)
Better than Noel. Better than anybody.
While you're on the Bripop era guitar players how about a lesson on Bernard Butler's playing?
Possibly one day. He's a great player. :)
Fuck yah!
Biblical
You can hear the Peter Frampton influence
I have to admit, Liam's stuff like ''China Town'' is pretty mediocre not to say bad. Noel was clearly the brain of Oasis.
Liam didn
Liam didnt write china town you fuckin gob shite.....he wrote the better songs on that album.
You look like you are having so much when you're playing this solo.
Indeed i am. I love it. :)
Am7
bald
Looks like you've rumbled me again. :)
