i would’ve NEVER stooped as low as questioning someone’s life’s experience over a game that is literally about lying. who are you to say what’s true? who are you to say what’s her story? girl bye
Aissa was the most clear model of all of them like 😭 every time she was on screen she was capturing all of the attention, she just has “it”. Even when she was voted out she was so professional about it.
Tyler’s reaction was so uncalled for. There’s no need invalidate Sasha’s experience with having a family member in prison just because she’s not a runway model. If she was that hurt by her telling her story, then all she needed to do was have a private chat with her (not in front of a camera and everyone else) but instead she wanted to spoil Sasha’s win.
I think it was pretty fair considering people could definetely relate. Even if Sasha was lying or telling the truth it could be offensive to other people and she couldve easily said another excuse to win.
It’s not fair at all. This is literally a game of deception. The first tick of lying is to use as many real details as possible. She didn’t lie - she shared her experience, telling the truth making it believable. I can almost guarantee the only thing she was thinking about was “ok what motivates me?” If that’s truly what motivates her it was a clever answer. Only an emotionally immature person would get upset.
Agreed ... also lying is literally necessary to win if you are the mole. She's not lying to hurt anybody, she's creating a false narrative with some real life true details in order to win the cash. If you're so butt-hurt by lying maybe you shouldn't have signed up to play the game
aissa was so obvious. her face, her aura, her personality, her walk, literally just everything about her. yes the height was a factor but everything else completely lined up.
Fr and considering there was only one mole and two short girls, I dont think that should have been a consideration cuz u already know at least one of the short girls is a runway model
Tyler had no right coming at Sasha that way. It’s her story and she can tell it and use it however way she wants. It’s not just her dad’s, she’s part of the experience too. That was so uncalled for
Exactly!!!! This is the point of the goddamn game, don't sign up for a game where the point is that there is a liar and then complain about being lied to lmao
@Nonaya Bidness even though I can understand Tyler’s hurt, I don’t see how her reaction can be justified. She could have pulled her to the side and spoken with her privately, but chose to humiliate her not only infront of the people there, but also on the internet (where people can be brutal). Instead of trying to understand Sasha’s story, she immediately accused of her lying and said that she was stooping low. Idk, felt like a weird power trip to me
That's exactly what they were arguing tho. She wasn't "clearly" a model because height is still very important in the industry, even when you have a very attractive face and "carry yourself" well.
Fun fact: Tyler is also a trauma focused therapist... Hope she doesn't invalidate her patient's feelings the same way she did with Sasha for no reason... Yikes! I think she just didn't understand the point of the game lmao
Sasha's lie was fine. She only lied about being a runway model. Which is the entire point of the game... I mean it is something personal, but she can use her personal story or make one up. I think Tyler was just upset since she related to her story, since, again, it was a real one.
Even if she lied about the whole thing it would be completely fine to me. It wasn't malicious at all and she actually said it BEFORE that other women chimed in and said she related to it.
I believe Tyler was mainly upset because they lost & she “ believed “ which I don’t understand the full anger if the mole is supposed to do that and she did it well & succeeded
Right! The white girl annoyed me that kept saying she wasn't one because of her height, uh look at her face & that walk she did! She was the best walk & she looks soo beautiful!
She had the best walk, and her face and just overall ambiance looks like a runway model. I would really love to hear her story about how she made it, because what they were saying throughout the video is true in that it is basically impossible when you're below 5'9, and it was reasonably sus of her for a mole game.
@@Ayveh but she was right tho it’s very VERY VERY uncommon for short models to get gigs. The model industry still only wants mostly tall people and she also explained why
Tyler is a literal mood killer. To me, it screamed jealousy.. Also, Dakota is sooo stereotypical when it comes to height that she almost appears rude and bitter. And Aissa is literally the best one of them all, modeling wise
@@anniemeenie no she was just voting out the people less likely to be a runway model. Runway models are usually no shorter than like 5’8. So since she was taller than them and has been told she was too short for a show, it was pretty logical to assume they were also too short and not models lmao
It was so obvious Sasha was the mole, the walk was not giving model, the confidence and the way she talks about her self sounded very nervous and held back, height dosent always mean you a model
I agree. It was very obvious. How is she nervous when walking if that's what she does for a living. The way she dresses gives it away too it shows insecurity
You don't have to apologize, Sasha. Your father is part if your story, and at your core as you said you do everything in his honor. I think it is more offensive to say you "stooped low" for even bringing up that part of your story. If you were lying, yes that could be more controversial because you would be taking a story true to many people and using it as a way to "gain points". However, this is your truth, and this is your story. Continue speaking about your loved one because their story is part of your story, and how dare the other contestant shame you for speaking on it.
@@Temerarier yeah but it’s not like she lied about her father being incarcerated that was the truth. this game is based on a lie so if you can’t handle someone lying to you to win then don’t play.
Tyler should look in a mirror and realized SHE stooped low. She could’ve made a special connection with someone else who also has a family member who’s incarcerated, but instead chose to put up a huge wall of separation between them by invalidating her. Its not okay to invalidate people even if you lose in a game!! specially something as heart breaking as having your father be incarcerated.
Nonaya Bidness I totally get that point of view tbh, I’m also just thinking like beyond possibly being models (which that part was always a doubt in this game) they’re both people with incarcerated loved ones and could have bonded over that. Its like she forgot what game they were playing
Lying is a part of the game. Who is Tyler to tell someone what their story is? Tyler made everyone very uncomfortable for nothing. They still lost so….
Exactly. Sasha says she still does modelling on her own and sends the photos to her incarcerated dad so the only part that was a lie was that it was runway photos. That was out of hand for Tyler to do and put Sasha in such an awkward spot. I'm glad she won.
The height also made me sus of her but honestly Sasha was more sus. The girl didn’t have the face at all or the personality of a model. Like if ur a woman of color in the fashion industry being mediocre won’t do it like with the white girls…cough like a certain model
Her father being incarcerated is also a part of her story… that was so weird at the end to get all rude and bitter because you believed her story when 1.) it was almost true and 2.) the point of the game is to lie. Tyler literally ruined all the fun in Sasha winning.
According to Tyler, having an incarcerated loved one IS part of your story if you're a runway model, but ISN'T part of your story if you aren't one. Yeah, makes complete sense.
Dude yeah Tyler got so mad for no reason?? That is still Sasha’s story and still something vulnerable for her to share. The point of the game is to lie and the only lie she had was the fact that she hasn’t stepped foot on a runway
@@bratzglamoruslife123 she was using her loved one as a plus one on the believability card. idc that she lied, i get it, its the game, but I can see why the other girl who also had an incarcerated loved one could feel hurt by the usage.
Seems like Dakota was so insecure about not booking some gigs for not being “tall enough” that she didn’t want to believe Aissa could be a model to protect her own ego 🤷♀️
I really didn't like Dakota 😂 she talked too much about what her experience with the runway was and didn't even care to listen to someone else's experience about it unless it was similar to her own
-Voted out the best model( I personally think they were intimidated) -Shading 2 people over their height -Being ‘offended’ because someone won the game by strategy -one person not even needing to justify they’re a model …This was chaotic yet entertaining
They didn’t “shade 2 people over their height” it’s no secret that runway models need to be taller than average and seeing a 5’5 model is extremely rare. They we’re using their deductive skills there isn’t anything wrong with that inherently
i love george he's just a ray of sunshine - the way he reminds everyone not to get superior about what agency they have and how he was hyping everyone up. need more people like him fr
I feel like Sasha was so obvious though. Compared to everyone else, her walk sold and lacked a lot. Aissa 100% didn't deserve to get kicked out. She is the definition of confidence. If they didn't think she was a model, I don't know what their definition of one is.
@@Tech_Nolyze that's literally the first rule of modeling since the beginning of modeling history. Models have had two things in common 1) you have got to be skinny and 2) you have got to be tall just cause times are changing doesn't mean that the modeling world is completely changed. For the majority being tall and skinny is still the standard for most professional modeling agencies
@@Risingofthephoenix will the modeling standards ever change? It seems really unfair that your denied of something you want to do by simple genetics which is something you have no control over (other stuff like sports can take a pass but modelling is totally different)
We had casting last week for fashion week and my boss doesn't request people for casting under 5'10 but once casting begins, the walk is the most important factor. You can have the looks but if you can't walk and properly model the clothes, we don't option them so height is a factor but to do runway, the walk and attitude that is conveyed is the key factor at least for my boss. I was actually talking with him today and he said like years ago, you could be 5'7 and do runway. Idk what happened but sometime down the road (he has been doing couture for over 30 years) that standard changed exponentially.
I don’t understand Tyler’s point about how “it’s her father’s story, not hers”. Of course it’s her story as well - it clearly affects her and her everyday life, she was just describing how the relationship between her and her father works. It’s honestly ironic how Tyler seems to be trying to defend the dad when she’s basically a stranger to both of them.
Exactly. She is allowed to talk about her incarcerated loved one but as soon as Sasha does it’s “not her story” to share. That’s something Sasha goes through everyday and she has to live without being able to see her father and bring him to special occasions. It is absolutely Sasha’s story and Tyler shouldn’t be offended on behalf of a person she’s never met.
@Nonaya Bidness I think that most people calling her out already know that she didn't do it purely out if spite. At the end of the day, however, she did let her own emotions get the best of her, not only expressing her viewpoint on Sasha's story, but also going so far as to invalidate it and insult her. It's understandable that people are upset.
Totally agree. It felt more like a justification to stay bitter after she made clear that she does have someone incarcerated. Tyler was fine with her saying her father story until she lost the game.
@Nonaya Bidness yes that's true, but Sasha apologized and said that her story was true. It's natural to use real life situations when you're put in the spot like that . Invalidating Sasha story kind of showed Tyler's a lack of empathy for someone who is going through something similar to her.
Jeeze Tyler, what a party pooper. Really showing who you are to thousands of people. I'm sure Sashas father is so happy for her and excited to see more of her adventures.
@Nonaya Bidness Thats sooo common in this game though. People use personal stories and connections and just lie about one part of it. It happens in like almost all of the episodes because its easier to change one part of a truth than make something up. Her truth is still her truth and it's completely uncalled for to bring the vibe down like that when it was still a true story, the only lie was the career.
I think it’s funny that Tyler said “yeah it’s how we share our journey” when replying to Sasha about her incarcerated family. But then later was like “that’s her fathers story to share, not hers” 🙃 girl you did the same thing
I think she was just more upset that she was the mole at the end. Since there was a sense of relatability. But regardless, Sasha played the game in telling small bits of lies. In the end they are all strangers and may never encounter each other again. So it was quite surprising to see Tyler get upset but I suppose that’s primarily because she trusted a stranger a bit too much.
Sasha deserved to win, without guilt or criticism. They all knew the rules of the game when they agreed to participate. The story of her dad belongs to her too. To suggest otherwise just doesn't make sense. I do not believe for a moment that she was using that as a strategic ploy. I enjoyed this video. Every single one of the participants were beautiful and generous in sharing their stories.
Exactly!!!!! Tyler is just saltyyyyy. Like girl come on!! It's just a little game... What do you expect? Sasha playing the mole card naturally involves her saying something to keep herself under wraps, doesn't it? She was so nice to apologize.
@@lilmrscutsie4524 same. I would laugh in her face be like girl idc that you got offended cause this my story and I only won because I lied about runway modeling not about nothing else BYEE, and walk off with flopping the money in her face. I don't understand Tyler's disapproval of Sasha's story. As the mole, your job is to lie in order to not be voted out. Sasha did her job fair and square, it wasn't a big deal 🤷♀️
I am pretty sure she felt a friendly connection with Sasha and it sort of invalidated her feelings. You can tell Tyler was a strong woman but she was laughing and talking alot with Sasha almost putting her guard down. I think she just got seriously offended because she was so blown away by her being the mole. Honestly Sasha was a bit sitff she didn't give model vibes but yeah i was still shocked.
@@lilz2449 Agreed. My issue is that Tyler was fine with Sasha telling that story if she was a model, but as soon as she wasn't a model "it's not her story to tell, it;s her dad's story"? Tyler related her modeling to her loved one who's incarcerated though. Why is it your story to tell just because you use your modeling career to tell it? Doesn't make sense
she LITERALLY told her the walk was great but the height is the problem and thats valid. height is really important and her personal experience is valid too
@Nonaya Bidness Honestly Dakotah was looking down while she walked and models aren't supposed to do that. And not just "anybody" can learn to walk the way Aissa did.
How is Tyler offended because of the lying part? A mole obviously will lie. She does not know your life, she does not know that you have a parent in prison, and once she says something she has to stick with it or she loses the game! Saying that she "went that low", is personal and relative to you ONLY, nobody else felt offended by it. Sucks to lose but don't try to make the winner feel bad with you 😓
And it’s not like she lied about having a parent in prison and only getting to send photos of herself growing up. The only lie she told was that she was a runway model. The rest of it was more or less true. Tyler was just hurt but had no reason to lash out. It was just as much Sasha’s story to tell.
Sasha’s father being incarcerated is absolutely apart of her story. I imagine not having a father physically (and emotionally) present in her life has impacted her in many ways, affecting the integrity of who she is as a person today, as well as the relationships she has with others. When a parent is missing from the household, especially due to incarceration, it usually places an undue burden on the child, making their lives more difficult in certain capacities. They are much more likely to face developmental delays, financial and educational insecurities, behavioral issues, and it can trigger and/or exacerbate mental health concerns they may have already been predisposed for. Collectively, these elements - and the added instability-, increase the likelihood of children following down a similar path. That isn’t to take away from the love a child holds for their parent, but, it is to highlight the marginalizations and stigmas the kids of imprisoned parents face and the ways in which it may impact them as adults later in life. So the idea that Sasha can’t speak about her dad’s incarceration because it’s “his story” is a falsity and an absolutely ridiculous notion. It’s a significant part of her journey as well because his actions and choices have directly impacted her own life, costing her tremendously.
You can tell Sasha was the mole (she's still so beautiful and tall but the way she carried herself in this environment wasn't very runway model). IT WAS SO OBVIOUS that Aissa was a runway model and i honestly think Dakota was just bitter that Aissa is short and gets gigs
I think we all can cut Tyler some slack. She literally manipulated her through common racial experiences in order to win. Shes not jealous shes feeling betrayed.
I think this episode proved something very important. The modeling industry is still very vain. They will judge others based on looks and not talent. Sasha won because she fit the “look” yet had the worst walk. While Aissa had the best walk and was voted off because of her height. This is a deserved lesson for these models! P.S. I thought George was the mole at the beginning because he’s literally everywhere lol but love him and his positivity!
Voting off the shorter people was smart because that is based on real statistics. Sasha won and got saved over Dakota because the other black girl didn't want to vote off her new black bff, that is why she got super salty when Sasha turned out to be the mole.
Tyler invalidating Sashas story because she isn’t a runaway model is actually gross. You don’t get to determine someone else’s story. unnecessarily bitter
Aissa was so pretty and she had the best walk out of all of them. Not to mention what do these people think they do for petite clothing? They have to have someone model that clothing for customers too. She had a nice personality too. All around I like her.
Wow. Tyler seemed like such a chill and nice person, but really showed her true colors at the end there. Beauty clearly isn’t everything y’all. Extremely sore loser.
@@juliaortiz6483 Also, why the hell is she getting offended on the behalf of a stranger's FATHER? Like, okay, if it is her FATHER'S story, why are you shoving your half-brained opinion of it in everyone's face?
The fact that Aissa *clearly* had the walk of a pro model, and *still* got voted out because of her height (while Sasha didn't walk as well, but was super tall), just shows how much of the model standards/stereotypes are still alive in this industry, even amongst models themselves. Kinda disappointing, because things are really starting to change for more diversity
The entire point of the game for the mole is to lie. For Tyler to call the mole out at the end about it is ridiculous especially since Jubilee doesn't have any rules on what you can lie about. Tyler saying the mole “stooped low” is just cope for the fact that she didn't guess correct. Also, not every black person knows someone who is incarcerated so it isn't like the mole could know it's offensive.
I agree, the point of being a mole is to lie and win. It’s not to tell the truth and pray you’ll win cause you’re not gonna win telling truths as a mole.
seriously!!! The only sore loser I’ve come across , being a mole is created with complete lies & she didn’t even lie ab her loved one so for the girl to say she was offended and alalala like , she doesn’t know her story or background.
Tyler is butt-hurt, entitled and rude. Can't believe she has the balls to say something so condescending! Self-righteousness is a disease. And Sasha actually seemed super nice... she felt shame after Tyler scolded her and felt the need to explain herself. Girl, you don't owe that lady ANYTHING, take your money and enjoy!
@@HigherKaiju dakota blamed everything on her height and swore being like 5'9 or whatever she is was too small also im not a girl plus im not small im 5'11

I felt bad for Aissa because you don't necessarily need to be tall to be a model. I could feel her confidence going down a bit just bc they targeted her from her height. She is legit GORGEOUS and her walk was the best out of all of them. She has the look and has long legs too. Not every model has to be extremely tall. End the stigma of short models not being able to model. Kylie Jenner for example is 5' 6"
Tyler was so wrong for that. That was an absolute stretch from her... To look her in the eyes and say shes "offended" that she lied, is this not a lying game?? A deceiving game?? And then to go on and still judge her even though Sasha's father is in prison!! How can you be "offended" from a story that isnt even yours !?!? This is a GAME... and it WAS her story. Totally uncalled for, unprofessional, and very very inconsiderate on Tyler's part....

Dakota and Tyler gave me really bad vibes. Loved Aissa, Ty and Sasha. Such calming personalities they have. Also, George is such a sweetheart. Love to see him in Jubilee's videos.
I think she was mad because originally she thought Sasha made the whole thing up. But once Sasha explained that she didn't, Tyler wanted to save face by coming up with another reason to be mad - which shows someone who lacks humility, poor communication, and a is a tad hypocritical.
Funny how everyone is attacking Dakota but what about the real elephant i the room here, Tyler and her bad energy and the fact that she was "offended" by sasha who just played the game.

Shame Sasha was made to feel bad for “lying” when she literally wasn’t even lying, yeah the part about her being a runway model wasn’t true but she wasn’t lying about having a loved one in jail and sending photos to them so there was no need to say that was offensive. Also can’t believe Aissa was voted out just for her height, yeah it’s definitely harder to be a model (especially a runway model) when you are below a certain height but it’s not impossible and there are certain brands actively trying to be more inclusive by doing things such as hiring shorter models, Aissa was the one who was most obviously a runway model to me since she had the best and most confident walk (plus she’s absolutely stunning!!)
Not to mention the game is literally a game about lying 🙄 how is it offensive lmaoo if she doesnt like it she shouldnt have done the game! and yes yes yes to aissa it was so obvious she was a model lmaoo
And she was the only one to look down during their walk which is definitely something they should’ve learned NOT to do which is why I thought it was her.
@Nonaya Bidness literally no one is praising Aissa for her height. People are praising her for her walk and her looks. If nobody took her height into consideration she would definitely be one of the last people left in that box.
The reason Tyler got so butt hurt is that she thought she found another black woman in the same position that she was in and started relating to her. It is not Sashas fault for the way Tyler began to build a made-up friendship in her head. Her father's story is her story, it has affected her every day. Tyler is very opinionated and there is nothing wrong with that. However, this is a game where you literally EXPECT people to be lying. Why sign up for this if you can't handle it. Sorry you got blinded by your own emotions/feelings towards a stranger, which ultimately lead to your loss in the game. Get over it.
The sad part is they probably could have become actual friends because they seem to have such a similar story and they could have bonded over that, but Tyler ruined it by invalidating Sasha’s story only because she doesn’t do runway
aww it broke my heart how sasha tried to explain herself at the end :( its okay boo you did nothing wrong, it IS your story and you have all the rights to talk about it even in a "mole game"
Dakota was definitely way too suspect of Aissa’s height I get the sense Dakota was bothered. She got turned down for jobs based on “her height” so seeing a shorter model made it seem like “oh well she didn’t get turned down for her height why did I?”

Tyler was out of line. We get it sis, you're evolved, and enlightened. The problem with always having to fight to be seen and heard is that you have to learn when NOT to fight. You can disagree with something, keep it to yourself and keep it moving.
Everyone commenting about Tyler's reaction to finding out Sasha was the mole, while the entire time I was like "why does Dakota keep coming at Aissa for her height just because Dakota was denied for being too short??" I completely understand the entire "runway models are almost always tall", but it's impossible to argue that Aissa's walk was "practiced for the video". She quite literally killed it!!
She was bitter because she was rejected for being "too short" so she is projecting on Aissa and basically saying "well is I didn't get casted because of my short height then no other short person would "
bc Dakota looks exactly like models in Milan, Paris, and New York including her walk which is what you see in haute couture and not the exaggerated struts of victoria secret that the public is more aware off. So just going off that, Aissa had everything stacked against her and her walk is not runway material but more of a macy's type of girl. sorry.
The height is a big factor that can't really be overlooked in this situation where there are only superficial factors to go off. Aissa's walk was great but I've known many athletic women (dance and cheer usually) who could pull that off with a little practice.
I dont get how they didn't guess the mole. Sasha is pretty, but all the others had a very sculpted typical model look. It was so obvious after she did her walk too.

@@inspiritedchristian exactly!! and i’ve never seen a winner look so unsatisfied at the end probs bc she felt bad
Yeah she was just being a sore loser and trying to hide it behind some moral high ground, now that's whats low....
It’s a significant part of her journey as well because his actions and choices have directly impacted her own life, costing her tremendously.
ye

i swear dakota was just salty that she got kicked out for being "too short" but then there's shorter models who are still thriving
After watching way too many episodes of that show I've got to defend Dakota, she was one of the nicest 'mean girls ' that tłok part in Odd One Out.
Tyler is a snowflake , I can’t imagine spending 20 minutes in a room with that woman
I would have just called her out. "Aren't you embarrassed of your self, for not understanding the rules of the game?"
Aissa was obviously the first person i would’ve assumed was a model, she’s literally gorgeous and her walk was sheeeeeeesh.
Yeah and there's a decent niche of "non-typical" shows these days. Honestly it would have been kind of brutal if they'd cast a plus size model.

Kylie Jenner for example is 5' 6"
You lost me at ‘Kylie Jenner’ but I agree with the rest!
Mostly every runway models are tall
Kylie Jenner is not a runway model.
everything else was great? but i’m pretty sure it’s her sister, kendall(?) who’s actually like 5’10 who’s the runway model
Lol Kylie Jenner doesn't count. 😩
Totally uncalled for, unprofessional, and very very inconsiderate on Tyler's part....

it’s cause she didn’t win
I think she was mad because originally she thought Sasha made the whole thing up. But once Sasha explained that she didn't, Tyler wanted to save face by coming up with another reason to be mad - which shows someone who lacks humility, poor communication, and a is a tad hypocritical.

I agree so hard. I actually found what the other woman had to say about sashas story quite hurtful and unnecessary.
Not to mention the game is literally a game about lying 🙄 how is it offensive lmaoo if she doesnt like it she shouldnt have done the game! and yes yes yes to aissa it was so obvious she was a model lmaoo

height IS important and she literally didnt wanna fall over that huge ass neon lamp
IKR LIKE GIRL CAN U JUST LET GO??
The reason Tyler got so butt hurt is that she thought she found another black woman in the same position that she was in and started relating to her. It is not Sashas fault for the way Tyler began to build a made-up friendship in her head. Her father's story is her story, it has affected her every day. Tyler is very opinionated and there is nothing wrong with that. However, this is a game where you literally EXPECT people to be lying. Why sign up for this if you can't handle it. Sorry you got blinded by your own emotions/feelings towards a stranger, which ultimately lead to your loss in the game. Get over it.
yup. this got it
it's okay for black people to not be friends with each other!
This was well written and I 100% agree.
THAT PART!!!

No, it's the literal facts of the industry. Aissa is not a runway model. Her walk is also not a runway walk. Get acquainted with runways to see the difference between a theatrical strut and a runway walk.

Okay but let's talk about how kind and encouraging George was, (especially during the walks) like I need someone like that in my present day life...
True

Tyler is just saltyyyyy. Like..girl come on!! it's just a little game... What do you expect?
Sasha playing the mole card naturally involves her saying something to keep herself under wraps, doesn't it? She was so nice to apologize.
So playing the game made her a “bad person”. Lying about the criteria is apart of the game … her loved one is actually incarcerated.
Yeah I agree. what gets me is that the "lie" wasn't even the part of the story that Tyler was mad/upset about.... I think Tyler got embarrassed or something after the explanation and stayed mad to try save face but that just made it look like she only had a problem with the story bc the other woman wasn't a professional runway model... Yikes..
I hope Tyler reads these comments. For some communication 101, here's a better response: "Is what you said about your father true? I really connected with that part of your story, and now I'm uncertain about everything you said. This situation makes me feel _____ (bad, misled, embarrassed, let down, etc.)."
