I'm 5'11" and bruuh wearing heels is hard. If you fall, you fall for 6 FEET
Ivy Burnett omg I never thought about that . I’d fall 5 feet
🤣🤣fr
I feel you 😔
Ivy Burnett and I’m 4’9” so think again sis 😎
Diana Cruz you relize she is still taller than you
Y’all the female average height is 5’3”... we aren’t short, they are just super tall
Average in the US is 5'4"
Geez in South Africa the average for a women is like 5'8
I thought it was 5ft 6? Like worldwide anyway
Oh no it is 5ft 3 lol my 5ft 9 body be feeling like a big goofy giant right now ugh
Mary Hogg nah I just read a recent study in my science class the worldwide average is 5’ 3”. Keep in mind there are a lot of countries with an average of like 5’ 1”
I love this woman. She pushes her self to try new things
why is no one talking about how hard she worked for this, 1 year this video took and she compressed it into 25:55, its truly amazing! the effort is just fantastic and how you never give up
Keep it up michelle!
if you look up, "shortest model ever to walk london fashion week" it says Michelle Khare :) ps. it might have changed

Omg you're right!!! I love that!!!
for me, it only says different models I don't know why
I love how nobody wanted to cast her for the smaller runways and suddenly she’s at London fashion week and everyone wants her 😂
thats how rude people are
Things happen for a reason
Because she was filming 😂😂😂
It's because the smaller designers weren't secure enough yet to take a gamble on being different from the standard recipe.
Lol
wow.. I thought Michelle were like 5'7" 😲 at 5'2" it's even more impressive when she completed physical challenge!
Your walk is nearly there, and your facial expression is on point!! So much fierceness and that aloof confident attitude came through, just like a pro runway model. Well done Michelle!!
HAHHAAHA
"You're not the shortest one here! How tall are you?"
"5'2"
"Oh okay"
Literally me in my class
Well I'm always the shortest.. I'm 5'1 and I'm in high school
There is one kid in my high school who is like 4’8
Im 4’9 and im in 8th grade
Nicole I’m 4’5
Ok but why is nobody talking about how the designer is so accepting of all different types of looks and wants you to just be you.
No way they want tall skinny almost disgusting looking for their clothes
They want you not to eat some of these people do not look healthy and the average women don’t look like thst

I’m crying. I’m so so happy for you! I’m 5 ‘2 too! I haven’t tried runway because of my height. I just got a fashion modeling gig and now you make me believe I can achieve anything. This video is so powerful! Thank you so much for posting this!

This video is very inspiring. I’m a 5’2 /5’3 model that loves runway. It a challenge at castings because of my height but I’m determined to break barriers and change the industry. I’ve done small local shows but really want to go main stream. Bigger shows, bigger designers. First Short African American Runway supermodel. #manifestation

I found your channel because of the ballet challenge (dancer), but this is the one that made me cry. I'm 4'10" and have always felt excluded by the fashion industry and, heck, just clothing brands in general. The mere idea of ever being a model or much of anything regarding "beauty" has always been hard to fathom. This was absolutely wonderful for a short person to watch. Thank you for repping us. ❤️
As a short women this just makes my inner child want to cry I love that you’re doing things to make this world a more inclusive place for girls and women and people all over and you looked absolutely stunning by the way. What an amazing job!!!!

I honestly thought it to be kind of rude of her... Idk how long she's been an amputee or if she was a model before, but Michelle was in a high importance fashion show, being the shortest model in it and being on a runaway for the first time... She's an amputee but it does not take the credit of Michelle

She does so much work. She should stretch out her videos and make series with seasons. Eg when she trained like a stunt woman for months. Why just narrow it down to 25 minutes. I want to follow the evolution. Thats a lot of content. Stretch it out girl.
I like your username
Michelle, thank you for never giving up because I too am a 5’2 woman who had been struggling with her confidence. I am about to go run a track meet as an alternate and this little bit of confidence that you lent me helped so much. Thank you for everything, I really needed this.

Train in ballet for 3 months and do a show! or train like a principal dancer for a month!! Ballet is so much harder than people think.
Omg she really should do this
if you want to make a very interesting video, you could try a lesser known dance! Ballet would be great, but Irish dance, stepping, bharatnatyam, etc are all very challenging and less covered
She said in her live that she actually is training in ballet for a challenge accepted video!
Already on it :)
Zoë Thompson yoooo as a trainer dancer I totally support this
I love how genuine all your videos are, and it's reflected in all the friendlt connections made with all these other models backstage
You are an absolute inspiration! Do you realize what you have done for fashion, and for those who have never felt like they could ever accomplish something so out of reach for most of the population?!?! What a trailblazer!!!

I literally never thought I would see that, but it is less restricting or distracting than, let's say, someone in a wheelchair or with a major deformity. It's something that can be hidden somewhat under a skirt. But high fashion still only wants people who are fit and healthy.
she's so cute haha
I don't know why I almost cry when the moment you walk, you just make me proud. And make ppl realize that there's no size in order to be fit in runway the important is how we carry ourselves. You stunning girl!

i love that she got the change to actually run the catwalk. what i wish would happen more often is challenge failed. michelle has challenge accepted but they're always completed. i would love to see all of the challenges that were not completed or didn't "turn out good enough to be a video". i think all of michelles content is AMAZING and i bet those other challenges that were not completed are worth publishing.
I am in tears😭. Literally so inspired by this you have no idea. It's so hard trying to be a fashion model knowing that I do not have THAT one requirement which is height . Videos like this inspire me so much didnt even notice i was crying. Its about time the fashion industry expands and creates more platforms for EVERYONE. Goes to show that you can literally do anything, there is no such thing as limits and boundaries. Breaking through all of it and CREATING SPACE , that's what's important. I really can't wait for my becoming, and everyone else who was extremely moved by this. I loved this so much , thank you honestly ❤.
The dedication Michelle puts into her videos are insane. This video took nearly a year, talk about commitment!

As a 5' 2" woman at a top fashion school (though my major is not fashion) this is honestly so inspirational. Where I am is so accepting and progressive it makes me so hopeful that this will become a norm! Michelle I don't think you realize fully the glass ceiling you just shattered.
as a little 4’11 16 year old who isn’t getting any taller, this is so empowering to see. THANK U THANK U THANK U 🥰
you still have time to grow, eat your vitamins and stretch. limit eating things that will stunt your growth
Leiley King - my grandmother was 4'8 and she was tough as nails, and the kindest person I ever knew. She was a single mom (cheating husband) who worked as a waitress in hotels carrying those big heavy trays. She survived a heart attack and then breast cancer (she had a mastectomy too). She loved to travel and gamble (slots machines were her thing) and if you needed anything she gave it to you without a second though. Your height doesn't define who you are. Stay strong and proud of who you are!
Same but I'm 18 and definitely not getting taller 👍🏻Great 😂

Michelle, I've been bingeing your videos for the past week and I can say I was super excited when you finally got to walk on the runway. Your videos are so inspiring and informative! Thanks for what you do
My faith in content creators was restored because of you. Thank you, Michelle and your team for reminding us that whoever we are, we can do anything whatever we put our mind into. More power to you you and your channel! I'm praying that you'll make it big (very big) someday. For all the good energy you put out into the world, you deserve the best! Cheers!
You should train to be a professional ice skater in 30 days. I think you'd do great cause you'd have a lower centre of gravity cause of your height.
Edit: Chill everyone that is commenting on this, it was just a fun idea, doesn't mean she HAS to do it. Yikes, she can change it to longer if she wants or even not do it at all. That is the point of her videos, she does what she wants to do. She TRIES to do challenging sports. Her whole channel is about challenging herself. Please don't make this comment thread about debating the challenges of a sport that not everyone had the same experiences in. Everyone is different, embrace that fact, and be thankful that the people who are commenting on how long they've skated for have been able to skate for that long. Congratulations to all the people in this thread that have been able to get their jumps and spins either a month into skating or years into skating. I didn't mean for this comment to turn into a debate and I was even debating with myself whether or not to delete this comment so I stop causing arguments but I REALLY want to see Michelle try this amazing sport that I have found and had so much fun experiencing. I myself have only been figure skating for just over a year and as a 21 year old I was the oldest in my classes and not a lot of people thought I could do it, but with determination, anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it.
Sam K I was about to comment this 😂🙌
That's actually a really cool idea. She'd be beautiful in a leotard on the ice performing to a song that means a lot to her.
Cool !!!
Yessss!!!
thatd be great except you cant become a professional figure* skater in 30 fucking days
So much respect for this designer. For being so considerate and open with the idea with a model shorter than 5’5. Everyone should be able to walk in the runway.
runway isn’t rlly about the models it’s about showing designers’ clothes and collections. If someone is too petite, too curvy, too skinny or they’re just not meeting the requirements for specific brands, it’s not the end of the world if they get rejected to walk on the runway 🤷🏽♀️ i’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with diverse fashion shows but high fashion shows tend to hire tall and slender models because the clothes sit well on their bodies and the outfits can be seen better. Not to mention the amount of money and time it would take to prepare the samples for the clothing
@Schinchan Nohara im just stating what i think?? what’s so wrong w commenting in a public comment section 🧍🏽♀️
@Schinchan Nohara wtf is wrong w u “it’s wrong because u r rude” that doesn’t even make sense. i literally said in my cmmt that i wasn’t trying to be rude but if u don’t meet up to a certain brand’s standards there are literally hundreds of other brands that u could audition for 😐 how is that in any way rude
@Schinchan Nohara some ppl rlly think that brands will change their standards just bcz u don’t meet up to them and ur feelings are hurt, but ur not special 💀 if u think their standards are toxic well do u rlly expect an industry that literally uses ppl for their body not to point out every single detail about themselves 🤦🏽♀️ it’s common sense and yes it’s a very cruel and unrealistic system but that’s just the way it works 😭
@Schinchan Nohara it’s like applying for a university or a job, if u don’t have what it takes then they’re not gnna accept u or hire u, simple. don’t fight it lmao runway modelling isn’t for everyone

Gal Marian yeah you have to be perfect for literally every job
I don’t know but if there are different heights it will look less put together. Short models can do ad modeling and stuff tho
Short models are a thing... It's specifically runway shows that have that height requirement.
You are sooooo underrated. The fact that you made it on a runway and you’re not a model, shows your determination. I admire you so much.
@Almighty God George Soros #420 #GetRekd shut the fuck up you peice of shit, she doesn't luck ugly or fat, she's pretty af. Just because u want to look as good as that doesn't mean u need to get all jealous. If u don't like it, piss off
Whoooboy LoL. She’s average but the point of this video is to encourage people to be confident in themselves despite imperfections and embrace diversity. I think we shouldn’t be delusional about our capabilities though and a little bit of realism will allow us to become better in other things. Not everyone can be everything they want to be. That almost encourages self entitlement which is bad.

Love you so much beautiful girll
You killed the definition of “ You can be anything you want no matter HOW “
I'm confused why this wasn't covered by any of the news outlets??!! This is truly radical, something everyone needs to know about!! Yet, for some reason.... idk, I just feel like you being the shortest model to ever walk the ramp is so epic, it should have definitely been a headline...
I wish it had. I emailed several major publications and never heard back! Maybe if you guys share or reach out, they will listen! :)
They probably didnt cover it because theyre not ready to move on to short models. It would make it more complicated to make fashion shows. I am a model 5’7’’ and i had given up on modeling for high fashion, maybe theres hope, but maybe not.
I think it is because of Michelle height, and their inability to like short models, they can't accept anything short, or someone with different body type. They are just allowing people of colour as of recent, they are still on the model has to have 5'8 and above idea. Which is terrible, because many beautiful women like Michelle cannot walk runways because of that.
Is she the first shortest model to walk the ramp?
Yesterday I went to a modeling audition and I'm 5'4. I MADE THE CUT!! I'll be on a runway as well. Nowadays agencies are more accepting. We got this !

Michelle, dear, as someone old enough to have birthed your mother, AND someone who is actually three quarters of an inch shorter than you are, I'd like to congratulate you on your awesome achievement, and share an insight about your height: if you were any shorter or taller, you'd be someone else. As it is, you are the PERFECT height to be you, so when anyone comments on your stature, just tell them the truth: You reached perfection, then you stopped. Some of us do. Kudos, Beautiful.
@@marycarroll2459 wat did this letter have to do with this aliens post???
Is it just me or when michelle walked i felt like a proud mum😂😂
tetchie15 u r not alone😂
I almost cried when she reacted to the video when she got accepted soo...
I felt the same 😂😂😂
same here since I'm only 5'2
tetchie15 bro when she walked I was scared for her 😂
23:51 the women literally said “Who said I can’t be a model, babes?” And just walked off. The amount of confidence it’d take me-
the way a modeling scout told me “you have the height but you need the weight sweetheart” GIRL HOW SHE EXPECT ME TO BE 5’7 AND LIKE 2 POUNDS BYE
LMAO
Lol!
@flcrence YOU SHOULD DO ITTT! youre gonna regret it if you don't try.
@partridges U Go Gurl.... atleast give it a try, am sure tht u will gonna learn new different things evry single time abt modelling... GIVE IT A TRY RN
@Ana G. Apply, and find out!! a lot of agencies will take 5’7 but make sure to put that in your profile
Genius way for the designer to make press more interested in their line. There is probably big bucks to haul in on this topic. Just like the designer world went bananas over plus size models, you might be the trend starter for shorter runway models. You truly are a role model, so proud of you!
the other designers picking up michelle really is proof of that! they found her interesting because of her height so at that point it did kind of work for her a bit

Michelle is an amazing RUclipsr and I can not get enough of her videos I have binged her videos all day love it.
U really inspire me Michelle watching you being so fearless, reckless and confident oh I love it. It fascinates me... Love you girl... ❤
One day she is gonna be the most interesting grandma ever with the coolest stories “that one time I was a runway model in fashion week” “when I was in a marine boot camp”
You have inspired me to follow my dreams and be a model/actress/singer .
Even so I am short She has got such a GREAT body tho!! Rule 1: have connections.
Edit: omg thank you for so many likes!!!😱
"Have connections" key word. The key to unlock any kind of success in my country, especially.
"you don't have to be one size, just be you"
i L-O-V-E love this
"Just be you!" That's BEAUTIFUL ALL BY ITSELF AND IN ITSELF!! I'm so happy for her. I'm only 4'10" almost 50 years old and would like to be on the catwalk too. LOL! I was very happy and excited to see the lady with the prosthetic leg. All that's missing now are us women over 40 plus or 50 plus which shows more diversity. Let's face it, we cannot stay 18-21 years old forever. Fashion should be for ALL since again, "you don't have to be one size, JUST BE YOU!" ALL WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY YOU ARE! Perfect example, see Chelsea Werner's video: She's a gymnast and a fashion runway model with Down Syndrome! God bless her and all women like her. Women like her are THE DEFINITION OF BEAUTIFUL JUST BEING YOU!!
You did sooo good and so prettyyy ❤️we all are sooo proud of you💕now I’m sooo confident of myself that I could walk the runway someday
The best youtuber and challenging youtuber i have ever seen in my life!!
This is so goodd!
Okay, the designer of Kepaza was so sweet? And Michelle, you literally rocked my world. YOU A BADDIE. So proud of you for pushing through and committing to something you really wanted to make happen even after the all the obstacles were ready to stop you.
Her: I'm so nervous because I'm short
Italian girl: I only have one leg
Wait wat
The prosthetic leg can be somewhat hidden, so I wouldn't compare it to the height requirement challenge, and this is a show that you could call "inclusive" or "challenged" friendly - you get that this is not regular high fashion shows, right? They are only taking part in THIS show because the show and the designers went out of their way to accommodate them - it's not something they _need_ to do, even by law.
