is no one going to talk about the girl in the first round who got voted out just by the looks of her makeup? if that happened to me as a makeup artist i dont think i would recover 😭
He also did the 3 minute make up so professional. The final result on all of them was bad, but what can you do for 3 minutes. Also his defence was like his cv and that was long. He seems very nice and professional.
Didn't really like the silent round... felt bad for the first person voted out for really no good reason. But echoing many other comments, these artists were all really lovable and sweet!
I knew Aldrich wasn’t a mole because I don’t think the mole would have enough confidence to show up without their face done up at all. It also does make him a little bit more approachable which seems to make sense as he struggles with people not believing he professionally does make up.
I thought this!!! I instantly thought if you look at nearly any professional INDUSTRY based make up artist they nearly always wear a natural beat, clean skin, subtle glow and natural! I knew he was legit

So why would you feel BAD for someone you literally don't even know?! Its in their nature, they do it to fit in. YES, everyone should have basic empathy, you think the other contestants lacked empathy? Most of the time, the mole is never the person who talks about themselves a lot, yet, that’s the person who always gets voted out. The mole is either someone who asks other people questions or is mainly quiet compared to the other people.
I always wonder how much the contestants interact before the cameras start rolling and if they have any conversations that lead to them assuming things about each other.

I mean yeah but also some makeup looks that people request are going to take longer than others. Professional drag queens do their makeup every day, and they still take hours to do it, no matter how good they are, versus a professional mua could do a natural look in 30 minutes

@@caprisunluva6470 in my experience generally the cost is established beforehand because they can guesstimate how much time it’s going to take by what you want, like they just have to know what kind of makeup you want beforehand, cause you can charge an hourly rate and still know how long it’s going to take

Had a feeling it was George when he was doing the makeup on the intern, it seemed like he was doing the makeup on the intern like he would do it on himself but he didn’t really adjust the shape to flatter the intern’s eyes/features. Lots of things to switch up when working on different eyelid types and eye shapes from your own and I would hope a professional MUA would know how to do it! And then my suspicions were cemented when George explained all his friends were makeup artists, lol. However, a great game played by all!

this has to be one of my favorite episodes of odd one out. i just loved everyone and all of their energies were so fun and just kind and they all seem like really amazing people. they are all so talented and gifted at doing makeup and expressing themselves through it!
I feel like raising their hands altogether to see if the match should continue can cause some bias because if you don’t raise your hand the other people would think “oh they don’t want to continue the game so they must be the mole since they want it to end earlier.” SPOILERS: Notice how twice in a row only one person didn’t raise their hand when asked if they should continue (Aldrich). And after the round two elimination (5:48), see how George raises his hand the most confidently, even though he is the one that wants the game to continue the least. I think he’s pressured into raising his hand in fear of being suspected as the mole.
loved this episode, but the first round was not it. you can’t possibly “detect” the mole from looking at them and it’s so unfair 🥴 glad everyone was back in the studio tho!!
Think it was based off the makeup. You can't really vote off the mole half the time by conversations either, most rounds they always pick some ridiculous reason. "She was looking at me so I found her suspicious"

I just want a show of those last four, they had such good chemistry together
this has to be one of my favorite episodes of odd one out. i just loved everyone and all of their energies were so fun and just kind and they all seem like really amazing people. they are all so talented and gifted at doing makeup and expressing themselves through it!
The makeup artists sound so nice. They have the talent, cute way of talking and good attitude.
I feel like raising their hands altogether to see if the match should continue can cause some bias because if you don’t raise your hand the other people would think “oh they don’t want to continue the game so they must be the mole since they want it to end earlier.” SPOILERS: Notice how twice in a row only one person didn’t raise their hand when asked if they should continue (Aldrich). And after the round two elimination (5:48), see how George raises his hand the most confidently, even though he is the one that wants the game to continue the least. I think he’s pressured into raising his hand in fear of being suspected as the mole.
Probably that's why they counted in at the end of the episode
No one gonna talk about how they all have such great style??

Think it was based off the makeup. You can't really vote off the mole half the time by conversations either, most rounds they always pick some ridiculous reason. "She was looking at me so I found her suspicious"
