Thx for the ONLY review of this little gem. I tried to test drive one today as a daily and later handover to my son, but Hyundai had NOT ONE to test or even sit in. Maybe it's a good thing and proves the popularity. No other tester had this on test.
Agree with you. Compared to the Kwid, Go, Triber, Aygo, etc. this is really a very solid car. The automatic you should avoid, but the manual is very very nice.
It would be bevok if there were races for cars like these..a atos breakfast run would give a big fuck you to the fast car owners. It would be fun as hell
I drove to Cape Town from JHB with mine and it was a breeze. Must say the perfect cruising speed for this car is 110 kph. But it will easily do 150 kph.
I don't know about this new Atos, but i drived Atos from 2001 for 6 years at work, in company where that car is drived by some crazy mofo's, and i can say that car is fckin' TANK! extremly reliable, extremly economic, engines from that 2001 models are extremly durable! We had 2 of that Atos from 2001 in that company, and one was drived with broken engine head gasket 4 allmost 2 years (when u pull out oil check stick, there was some mayonnaise-like thing on stick that's because of mixing oil and water) bur that car runned like all is normal xD, once my co-worker drove that car with broken head gasket 150 kph!!! and when that car fixed after 2 years, mechanic only replace head gasket, and done engine head machining, nothing else! I worked in that company till 2015, but i see same 2 Atos they drive till today! Once, i think that's been year 2012 , there was big snow in my country (Bosnia and Herzegowina) i drived that Atos trough 60 cm od new snow on one hill, and car is running troug that snow without problems, till front bumper is cramped with snow, i driving, snow lifted from front bumber fallin to windshield, u can believe me or not, but that's true! xD Problem is in that front bumper, it's is very low from ground, without thar bumper which cramping with snow, Atos can climb on great uphill on 50-60 cm of new snow, like sone SUV when u have good snow tires, that's because of narrow tires. All in all that Atos model from 2001 isn't confortable, and it's equipment is minimal, no A/C, no power windows, electric powered sidemirrors or stuff like that, all is simple mechanic, but that car is amazing! u only need to change oil, filters, and tank fuel & drive :D
