The costs appear to have crept up with this newer model by a couple of grand but you only seem to get a reversing camera, emergency braking and lane assist as additional features. It's not as good as the Fiesta but it's the best value car in this size car.
I've been waiting for this specific review for some time now.. But I was hoping it would be with the 84 hp engine.. I really wonder what to expect from it on highways ... any ideas ? Nice review btw , detailed and fun.
I have the 4 cylinder 84 hp automatic. 0-100 kph is around 12 seconds, and it can cruise easily around 110 kph on highway even on slight inclines. The gearbox automatically shifts you down to 4th gear though if you are on incline. Top speed I managed where the car wasn't vibrating was around 130 kph and it'll go to 150 or so if you really push it. It's not that fast, but certainly better than this one.

We like cheap! Enough of super rich limited edition nonsense, let’s bring 2020 sense into it, well done for the fun review, I got almost convinced to buy one 😎
It actually makes sense that review is done in Portugal. These small and cheap cars are so popular in the south, in Spain a VW Passat could be considered a big car as it is bigger than most other cars on the streets. Knowing how people want the cheapest rental cars, this i10 will be widespread as a rental.
Having a built in Sat Nav can be quite useful if you lose your data connection. Waze, for example, doesn't seem to be able to plan routes without data whereas the built in Sat Nav carries on working and updates the route once it gets data back.

@@adammchugh7187 More or less, here in Portugal it really depends on how you say it and what your intention is, but it is not very respectful when addressing someone. If you want to be more respectful, you say "idoso".
I am a 193 cm tall dude, and I have a Fiat 500L (which is weirdly more spacious than most SUVs) and my wife has an Hyundai i10. Not only can I comfortably fit in the i10, it feels so much fun to drive and you feel a lot more "in control" of the car when you're driving it compared to other cars, if you know what I mean. And the interiors are fantastic and not "cheap" at all, a lot better than all Fiats, and Corollas. Absolutely recommended for small families and single people alike.
One thing I disagree on is the fact that Matt assumes everyone uses their phone. I drive an x3M40d and with the I drive 6 or 7 whatever it is, I find it more than capable of traffic avoidance. I also don’t like to use my phone whilst driving. I prefer to just plug in the postcode and go on my Sat Nav. Not arguing, just merely suggesting that he keeps reviewing infotainment systems.
I don't understand why all the jokes. I am dreaming of driving a car and if I buy this car, I will be extremely happy and grateful for life to give me such a pleasure. You people need to have your feet on the ground.

One of the best yt channel
More affordable car reviews would be great !! great review
I'm Portuguese and I was watching the video and was like "the streets in this review are so familiar..." And then I realized that it is Portugal! Ahahah 😂🇵🇹❤️
Oh really!
It was filmed in Italy.
@@saratodd6571 I'm sorry but he is driving in Portugal. Throughout the video you can clearly see the locations where he is driving - you can even read the signs on the road (Lisboa, Cascais and so forth) and in the different places (cabeleireiro - means hairdressers; carros ligeiros/pesados - means light/heavy cars).
Min 2:30
The front end looks like a mini Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato
Jesus, it really does!
Looks like a cygnet
Only the grill a little bit. The headlights don't do at all
Or the Toyota Prius plus. At least the headlights are very similar.
I bought my mother the last i10 and it's a great little car with the 5-year service and warranty package. The costs appear to have crept up with this newer model by a couple of grand but you only seem to get a reversing camera, emergency braking and lane assist as additional features. It's not as good as the Fiesta but it's the best value car in this size car.
So glad that Carwow has reached over 3M subscribers. Mat you are doing a great job. Cheers from Middle east!
Well I'm excited that this was filmed in Portugal! (Cascais)
Every car review should be like this✨Enthusiastic, fun, jolly. Love it
Yeah, it was quite interesting, especially the final part.
"Like fitting a diffuser to your grandmother "...😂
Nice work
I'm not into cars, and yet instead of watching stand-up comedy on Netflix I am here, checking every single video review haha you are hilarious.
I really , really, REALLY love how you present the cars :D
@@shubham_yadav1611 Many thanks for your comment. Are you confident to take it for a longer trip then (say 300 km) or do you feel that you would be torturing it ..? -I think you just answered that , thanks again.
@@stergiosspat8562 300km would be pretty easy to do. 500+ and you'll have to take a couple rests since this isn't as comfortable as high end cars.
I'd highly suggest the automatic. You'll have to change gears quite a lot on small engines with a manual.
We like cheap! Enough of super rich limited edition nonsense, let’s bring 2020 sense into it, well done for the fun review, I got almost convinced to buy one 😎
Matt hopefully the car is as good as your reviewing. Keep up the good work
Mat, the type of person to make you enjoy watching a Vauxhall Corsa review !

I like how Matt support Korean and Japanese car :)
If it good why not
"This is the new Ha-yun-daai i10"
'This is a paid for advert
8:20 the best part of any carwow review
It actually makes sense that review is done in Portugal. These small and cheap cars are so popular in the south, in Spain a VW Passat could be considered a big car as it is bigger than most other cars on the streets. Knowing how people want the cheapest rental cars, this i10 will be widespread as a rental.
A great review of a super small car...!!! 🙂👍
"Even if you don' like it JUST LIKE IT" :)))))))) Matt's so cool!
6:00 so it has more space than a Mercedes C class in the back lol
be carefull what you say about "luxury" cars like mercedes..lmao..he is so biased so he will always trash other cars then audi, bmw or mercedes..lmao
Having a built in Sat Nav can be quite useful if you lose your data connection. Waze, for example, doesn't seem to be able to plan routes without data whereas the built in Sat Nav carries on working and updates the route once it gets data back.
Even if the review is boring..... you did make us laugh..... well done Mr.Mat
You should make a mega a-segment car comparison including a dragrace. With the aygo, c1, i10, 108, up, mii, citygo and so on (don’t forget the fiat500!!!)
I like when Matt reviews cars that I can actually afford.
16:33 "can't get out of the car without bashing whatever that is" 😹😹😹
@XxKaiju_123xX that's a microcar mc2... I got curious as well, so I googled it!! Hehe
That has to be the best looking tiny car on sale today. No joke!
i think we can all agree that Mat should never get a script writer
*THERE WILL BE FLYING CARS IN 2020*
*MAT WATSON 2020 : ITS LIKE FITTING YOUR GRANDMOTHER WITH A DIFFUser 😂*
Portugal!!! 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
16:37 That's what we call " mata velhos" which means "old people killer" 😂
🤣
Ain’t Velhos a slang word for smelly old man?
@@adammchugh7187 More or less, here in Portugal it really depends on how you say it and what your intention is, but it is not very respectful when addressing someone. If you want to be more respectful, you say "idoso".
it's so small, matt needs his reading glasses :)
Not arguing, just merely suggesting that he keeps reviewing infotainment systems.
still have my 2013 hyundai i10 w/ 30000 KMs on it, still smooth for a 9-year-old car. Would love to have this version in the PH.
“THIS is the.....“ where did I hear that before? 🤔
Doug Demuro
Hah
But does it have quirks and features?
I don't understand why all the jokes. I am dreaming of driving a car and if I buy this car, I will be extremely happy and grateful for life to give me such a pleasure. You people need to have your feet on the ground.
What a perfect first little car!
And your last when you're too old to drive apparently
My father has diesel variant of this car and he is using since 7 years and travelled more than 100,000 kms with it
And it is pretty reliable and it is stronger than your car also it doesnt have much performance as roads are not much good in my area
May be i reuse it or sell for a performance hatchback
So upset we don't get the I10 in the USA the I10-N looks like such an awesome car!
one of the cheapest cars you've ever reviewed yet the likeliest one your viewers can buy lol
0:01 I love the Hi-unday lol
No hate ofc
8:25 Ouchh...that's a bit brutal 🤣
Thankyou for your great verdict for this tiny car review Matt!👍
thank you for such an insightful review. I really appreciate that you showed both the yeys and the nays of this model. helped me with my decision. twas worth the time watching your content. well done! 👍
