So wait you produce a dummy, use manpower to move and locate it in the battlefield area. It seems way more productive to actually produce a real one.
Just watch the clip. The decoys are much cheaper than the real ones and the weapons used to destroy them are much more expensive.

Heat source is standard. Also a preparated gas tank to simulate a secondary explosion. Those were used for all wars in the last century. And guess what - Russia ofc uses them aswell.

Sun Tzu also said that above all else..."the wise warrior avoids the battle"...and also "war was the last resort and that a smart leader would explore all other avenues first"...also..."one may know how to conquer without being able to do it"...meaning boots on the ground is the last resort and that it actually indicates a failure in all other ways of exerting power and influence to bring about the desired outcome...

@@pierrerochon7271 decoys have been used since the start of the war, it’s all on Reddit. Both sides have been using them, this is nothing new, Russia isn’t getting intel on DW news.

Nothing new. Ukraine is using a lot of decoys. The real problem is that they still don't have enough of the real stuff. A lot more equipment is coming soon though. It will take a bit more time, but help is on the way.

heat and radar signatures can be faked too with ease. on other hand most of casualties are either controlled by direct video feed from recon drones or either from destruction of enclosed warehouses in both cases use of decoys have little to none sense.
